Medical History

 

- Had replacement knee surgery at the age of 22, after shattering his kneecap in an incident in a pub involving an attempt to jump over 9 barstools. He succeeded but caused a large amount of damage. He made a complete recovery however.

 

- Ripped tendon sustained during a rugby match at the age of 15.

Biography

Adrian Images was born in the city of Newcastle, England. As a child he was often in trouble,mostly commiting small pranks and the like but at the age of 13, less tolerable incidents forced his parents, Tanya and Julian, to send him to boarding school in Ireland to reform. It was there that Adrian became far more responsible and his grades improved considerably. He also developed a fondness for the sport of rugby and over the years became talented enough at the sport to earn a place on the local under 18's squad as a second row.

 

However, after finishing secondary school Adrian had no idea what he wanted to do with his life. He had no particular goal or dream so to see more of the galaxy he decided to apply for Academy training in order to get a career in Starfleet. Whilst at the academy, Adrian seemed to have a natural gift for the hands-on parts of running a starship. His piloting, weaponry and organisational skills were high though some of the more scientific aspects of space travel sometimes evaded him. He graduated in 2149 and was posted onboard The Norfolk as a helm officer. It was not the most interesting assignment, basically acting as a ferry to people going to and from the Vulcan homeworld and Earth but Adrian used his navigational skills to allow many runs to arrive earlier than usual and in 2152 earned his promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade.

 

When he earned this rank, Adrian was re-assigned as Tactical Officer on The Bayonne, a small vessel dedicated to escorting valuable cargo ships in the sector. The job was much more exciting than his previous assignment, allowing him to go to many more different places and several times allowing him to get involved in minor ship-to-ship skirmishes with thieves attempting to hi-jack cargo. His devotion to his work gained him yet a further promotion to the rank of full-grade Lieutenant.

 

Tired of minor work and now feeling a sense of importance, Adrian decided to reach for the brass ring and applied for a Tactical post on Starfleet's newest and most impressive addition to the fleet, Challenger NX - 05. Due to his good service record, he was accepted. He is now on leave to attend his brother Charles's wedding in Spain but will report for duty in September for the launch of the vessel.

 

 

Hobbies

 

Adrian is still a great fan of rugby. He doesn't get the chance to play as much as he'd like to but attempts to catch up on the latest sports news as often as possible. His quarters are usually decorated with a few items related to the sport, posters, a few medals, a ball. He has also developed a love of the cinema and has personally requested that several of his favourite films be brought onboard for viewing including his Akira Kurosawa and Alfred Hitchcock collection. Other hobbies of Adrian's include some casual cooking and the occasional visit to the bar (mostly after hearing about a good match) though after his previous experience involving a shattered kneecap he may be more careful with his liquor.

 

Future Aspirations

 

At this point in time, Adrian has become a bit of a career officer. He works hard at his job and strives to do a good job every day. He's looking forward to at some point taking command training and to perhaps one day in the long future, getting the rank of Commander. However, he is happy enough having achieved as much as he has and believes this new posting will be quite enjoyable.
