Post Number Display

Well, not that it really matters, but the "Posts:" thing under the "Member Group:" thing is gone! I like being able to see how much spam I have posted!

Yeah, and I think that's why they took it away. I guess too many people were spamming the boards, with topics like the Word Associatuin , and the Write Something about you threads. They took the post counts away before, but brought it back a few weeks later, so.. maybe it'll be back. I don't know.. up to the Gms.

Well,we don't really need it too much, and I guess it does encourage spammers.. so.. whether or not it'll be brought back matters not to me.

But, you can still see how many posts someone has made by checking their profiles.

Yup, we pulled the Post Count and the Member Number for many of the above reasons (and it only took you guys 2 days to notice, gooood!)

It had been removed before and only returned, in error, because we shifted some back end processes on the website and forgot to remove those fields again. The intention, all along, has been to have them disappear and not return. Thanks.

You can still see the number of your posts by looking at your information in 'My Controls' :D

No I'm not worried about that. I've forgotten my member number! :D

::rolls eyes:: Oy. You're member #607. The URL in your profile has your member number in the end, like mine for example. http://www.stsf.net/forums/index.php?showuser=212

The 212 at the end is my member number. The 607 in yours is your member number.
