Preparations

RawI Hom Ramjep entered her quarters shortly after the order that she would be on the away team was given. So she packed up a few things in a small shoulder bag to take down.  Dak’tagh and disrupter were already upon her person, and she debated taking a disrupter rifle with her as well.  That would be found at the armory.  

 

She glanced to the holopic of her daughter and picked it up.  A smile as she put the picture in her bag.  Then she looked to the bed, and found the sheet wasn’t moved at all since she had risen that morning.  Narn must be working double shifts.  At least that is what she hoped that he was doing.  Slow steps took her to a padd on the dresser, where she tapped in a note to him.

I am going on the away team.  Just remember, should I find honorable battle, and find Sto’vo’kor before you, I love you.

She put the padd on the bed where she hoped he would find it. Adding a tricorder to the bag, she zipped it up and slung it over her shoulder.  She walked out of quarters and headed to the meH again, to make last minute security checks before rendezvous at the transporter room.
