Seiben

Like Ty! If I could be like Ty!

Walking around the quarters of his new friend Dox Maturin, Seiben looks around the spartan, organised standard Starfleet Junior Officer's Quarters to see what he can do and make measurements.  Seiben records the room specifications and approximate sizes of the various items, he is to build and records them on his PADD.  He's to build an oceanside pub, a mixture of ideas suggested by Seiben and Rear Admiral BluRox.  Immediately, Seiben thinks of the beachside pub in Nice, France he visited often during his rehabilitation time after his shuttle accident in academy.  Inside was almost all wood.  The bar, walls and the floor with a spectacular view of the Mediterranian Sea. "Ja, vunderbar! That would look just great in Dox's quarters." He says to himself.  And though Seiben hasn't been to any of the Carribean countries on Earth, he's sure that 's what Carribean pubs kind of look like. Maybe I could also replicate a holo-screen with a ocean view?He thinks.  He'll have to talk with BluRox about that later. Seiben hopes the Dox will like his new quarters, and it could be pay back for the intricate and expensive looking stien and rare vodka Dox gave Seiben when they first met.  After Seben records all he needs in his PADD, he walks back to his workshop and begins to cut the wood first for the dartboard to be placed on the centre of the wall. Seiben notices another PADD with the list of things he must do.  Wood flooring, dartboard and possibly a small bar for Dox's quarters, Various Celtic items for Chase's quarters, and a table, desk, and Scottish things for Dr. Drake's (?) quarters. Quite a long list.. Chase and I will be very busy for the next few hours. Seiben says in his mind.  If I were Vulcn, I'd be questioning the logic of this assignment, but at least helping building the barn for Uncle Franz helped w ith his experience and gave him a cutting edge advantage in carpentry. Seiben chuckles, "in addition to being the Republic's official chauffer, I could also be the official carpenter/repairman the next time the Republic comes across any Cardassians or Romulans. " This makes Seiben laugh a little louder causing Chase to look at Seiben wierdly.  I most certainly hope not though..  those bulkheads can be quite tricky. He thinks, and gets back to work.
