Rian exits Blu's quarters, rubbing her stomach a bit. "I feel very full." She chuckles softly.

 

Kania stepped out the door of Blus quarters thanking her once again for a very lovely dinner. As she steps out She looks to Rian as she spoke. She answered, "I am full also. Thats the best dinner I have had in a long time. Im going to have to get the recipes from Blu so I can try it myself. Do you think she will share them?"

 

"Maybe. Depends on if she used the replicators or actually cooked herself." Rian smiled a bit. "Just have to ask." Rian walked slowly down the coorridor. "Your daughter, Is she all right after all this?"

 

"She was very glad to see me, that's for sure. But to her it wasn't very long at all. I think it was more torchure for me than it was foor her."

 

"Aye, that's my understanding from most of the crew as well." she glanced down at her boots as she walked. "It just....well....feels weird. You know. We were only gone for a short period of time, but then again, we weren't. How in universe am I going to explain this to my friends?"

 

Kania continued to strole down the hall. " Im not sure because we both know we were on that planet long enough for August to be close to delivering that baby of hers."

 

"To which I'm glad she didn't. I have a feeling *that* would have been a disaster." She made a face.

 

"Im not a practicing MD any longer but I have to agree with you. It would not have been pretty at all." They get to the lift and Kania presses the button to call it.

 

"So, do you have any suggestions for Blu about commendations or recommendations?" Rian folded her arms, biting her lower lip.

 

"Well Will and Sebien were both vvery helpful in getting things set up and for gathering food for the crew that were stuck there." The lift door open and Kania steps in and waits for Rian.

 

"Aye, very much so," Rian followed her into the lift. "Joy did a pretty good job motivating her team to find alternative food sources as well as keeping them busy. Althought the blue people dancing was kind of strange."

 

The lift doors close, "Shall we go to the lounge and get a drink? And finish our thought train there?" Kania asked turning to face Rian as she entered.

 

"I guess so." Rian replied.

 

"Computer Ten Forward lounge!" The lift begins moving towards its destination. "What about Dave? He did do a lot for trying to find us new winter grounds?" Kania add to the now growing list.

 

Rian sighed softly. "I'm not as objective when it comes to Dave as you are. I'll have to defer to you on that one. "

 

"I agree he tried to hard to help me prove my point but I think his heart was in the right place." She says as she smiles a bit.

 

"His heart is in the right place, but that guy needs to learn some tact. As does Mr Link. We could have put them both in a ring and sold tickets, you know?"

 

Kania snickers a bit as the lift doors open to the lounge. "I have to agree with you on that. Althought You could have done the same with Link and Myself also." Kania motions for Rian to go ahead of her and exit first. "After you."

 

"Or Jax and Will?"

 

"True. I think a lot of us had our moments." Kania says waiting for Rian to exit.

 

Rian exited the lift, waiting just outside the door for Kania before starting down the corridor. "Jax deserves an award for just hanging in there and facing the unknown. She did pretty well, considering."

 

"That she did. Knowing there was a possibility that she would have to have her baby with the miniumal at best drugs from herbs and things we had here." Kania opens the lounge doors.

 

Smiles wryly. "And provided much entertainment with her bickering." She sighed, making her way to a table. "I don't know about those two. What do you think will happen?"

 

"Im not a councilor, but It looks like its going to be a hard road for them." Kania sits down at the table and nods to the waitress.

 

"So who else are we missing?" Rian asks as they sit down.

 

Kania looks up to the waitress, "A mocha coffe please, Rian what would you like?"

 

"Kukicha tea, please." Rian says as she shifts in her seat until she becomes more comfortable.

 

Kania nods to the waitress. "Lets see, Sebien, Will Link, Jax, Joy, I know Dr Weber."

 

"I'm not sure Dr Weber knew what to do with all of us." Rian says.

 

"She might not have known what to do with us but she held together when It counted, don't you agree?" Kania nods a thankyou to the waitress as she sets their drinks down.

 

"Aye, they all did." Rian toyed with her tea cup, staring into the brown liquid.

 

Kania looked at Rian as she stirred her drink."Is something wrong?"

 

"Hmmm?" Rian looked up, then smiled stiffly. "No, no, nothing's wrong. So where were we?" She took a sip from her cup. "Anyone else we're missing?"

 

Kania sat her cup down. "Only other one that stands out is Daves wife but she was one of the first to disappear and come back. She didn't have the stay the rest of us had."

 

Rian counts on her fingers, whispering names a little as she counts. "I guess that's it. What do you think? What do we do?"

 

"Id say give all of the ones that spent the entire time on the planet a commendation for it. I think they deserve it. Having to put up with all that happened and remaining at least Semi sane through it all." Kania replies fiddling with her mug.

 

"Who said we were sane to begin with?" Rian asks with a bit of a chuckle.

 

"Well as sane as the Republic gets anyway." Kania gives a giggle at her own words.
