What a day!  Oh what a day!  What a good day it had been!

First there had been the nice visit from The New Man…  The New Man, who tickled him while She Who Provides slept.  That was nice.

The New Man (who upon pondering did seem vaguely familiar, but that was too hard to think about.) stayed for most of the afternoon, too.  Lots of opportunities to get to know him better.  He was very warm.

Then…  Then after He left, the Others soon began to arrive.  Lots and lots of Others!  Oh there were Others everywhere!  Sitting on the couch, sitting around the table, walking about, laughing.  Lots and lots of legs to dart and dodge around.  Legs are fun.

The Others stayed for a long, long time.  Towards the end, it was fun to just sit and watch.  One should not dodge legs when one is tired:  Your aim suffers.  Perhaps He Who She Sees During The Day would not have tripped over him and landed behind the couch if he had stopped dodging legs just a bit earlier.  Oh well.  He Who She Sees was warm, and when the Others had all mostly left, He was comfortable to sleep on.  Behind the couch is a nice

place to sleep.

And today…  Today would be a great day!  There was a whole day ahead for sleeping and for exploring all the Wonderful Things left from the night before.  What wonders!  Little mushy fruit slices to chew and drag, crusty food things to chew and drag…  Some of Their clothing left here and there to test for sleeping on…

   Oh what a day!

   Schrödinger purred in the sunshine.
