USS Challenger Chatlog

29 March, 2009:

The USS Challenger is investigating a mysterious area of space. Warp drive is unavailable and Challenger proceeds on impulse towards the energy signature of a Klingon D7. Not able to get there on time on impulse only, Captain Seiben orders Mr. Kas to initiate a short boost of warp power to catch up. After a short few seconds barely cracking warp speed, the Challenger catches up to the D7, which appears to be in some level of distress. To their surprise, the D7 crew hails them. To their even greater surprise, the person on the screen wasn't Klingon, but in fact Romulan. Close-up scans confirm this by the feathered paint scheme on the bottom of the hull. With these new revelations, the crew of the Challenger are left to figure out what happens next.
