The Away Team continues to discuss the outbreak with the governor. As they start to wrap up, a freighter, the Obi Runner is reported to have left port without authorisation, violating the quarantine rules in place. Risking contamination of the outbreak to other worlds, the Challenger crew acts fast and scrambles its fighters to intercept the Obi Runner. Ignoring warnings, the fighters fire warning shots. To no avail, the fighters resort to disabling the Runner's engines. Challenger fighters are ordered to escort the Obi Runner and its crew back to the surface for apprehension. To prevent future attempts to leave port, Captain Seiben orders extra security personnel to seal off all ports. Meanwhile, Savros and Dr. Juno work in the affected northern area confronting the people in the ground car. Dr. Juno has failed to answer comms.
