The battle was quick and ferocious, all sides taking loses and heavy damage. In total, the loses are as follows:

USS Yorktown - heavily damaged, no personnel lost.

6 other Federation ships heavy to moderate damage, total of 250 personnel lost.

2 other ships, heavily damaged.

1 ship unaccounted for, presumed lost at the First Federation Outpost

Unknown small vessel: Undamaged. Captain Quark's escape pod on board.

First Federation:

2 unknown ships, no damage

Messages start going out fleet wide, to all federation ships, stations, news services, and outposts. They also go to all diplomatic consulates. Why did 8472 attack the First Federation? Where has the First Federation been all this time? What is happening on Aegis with the First Federation? What happened to the 8472 ships that were not destroyed?

These and other questions are passing between many people and places........
