Interests: Avid explorer, science, music, holodeck sims, history, astronomy, Cardassian History, humor, games...etc.

 

Personality: Was lucky to grow up in a caring environment despite his racial differences and is quite the outgoing people person...born leader but enjoys following too, it helps him to learn. Has no reservations about expressing his ideas and opinions.

Ahh, do be sure to read the Tips from the Moose, the help section and Schedule section to help familiarise yourself on how we play, and htips to graduate and when the acads take place. Goodluck in your STSF career, and hope to see you around. <_<

 

PS - And about OPS.. On most advanced ships, bridge positions such as OPS, TAC, and HELM are usually the ones to get filled up the fastest. I guess your best chance at that is the new Agincourt sim. But hey, I lucked and am OPS on two of my sims, so Ya never know. :angry: However, Science though still remains pratically empty on most of the ships I'm on.

Then again you can get lucky. I was made Chief Engineer on the Qob-Lakota when I first joined the crew as an Ensign. It's very rare, but if you're in the right place at the right time it can happen. Both our OPS and HELM positions have been vacant for over a year now.

I hope that your character's persona will be accomodated when you graduate. However, from my own experience, Romulans are not welcome on Starfleet vessels and I doubt Cardassians would be either. Perhaps they will grant you a dispensation or create a Cardassian Sim as previously suggested.

Cardassians has been on starfleet vessels or space stations any ways. Look at Garak on DS9. He may not have been in starfleet, but he did help out some. Also, Im on a ship, the best in the fleet, and Im Bajoran/Cardassian. Just have fun with it and injoy your self. It will be great. :angry: <_<
