OK...please do not take this rant as anything against Webbie or any other STSF member..we have an awesome site here that do date, other than the recent server issues has been flawless..for the most part.

 

That is Precisely why I began posting a log yesterday in the forum..having had no trouble getting in..thinking all was right with the world. However, as I wrote, a muse came over me allowing me to create a really awesome log.

 

Unfortunately, when I went to post this "masterpiece", the site could not be found..I tried several times to no avail and the history would not take be back to the post screen since, obviously. the site could not be found.

 

I have tried to repeat what was written and should be able to put something together. However, the flow and feel of the original have been lot so far.

 

Dont be a dumbass...like me....

 

Compose your entry in Word or whatever processor you use..copy..and paste....

 

Because...a log..is a terrible thing to waste.... :P

What I do for my logs is send them in E-mail, save a copy, and then post it to the site.

Yes, and if you recall my warning from two days ago, in the posting, Website Uptime Issues,

 

"There are some hardware problems with the server that is hosting this site and replacement parts have been ordered. Once they are in, configured and installed the up and down nature of the chat rooms, Boards and the site in general will stabilize.

 

The current issues may persist through the end of October. I apologize for the downtime."

 

This is a warning that the issues have NOT been resolved yet. Sorry.

I learned a very long time ago to write my logs in Word. These were in the days of junky computers and junky browsers. (Hmm...) I also pop my entire "nerd" folder onto a CD about once a year. (I guess so that if the house burns down, by golly, I'll have my sim records and a thousand digital photographs of my cats).
