  1. Faldek steps into his office, closes the blast shield over the window and turns on the communications device. He makes sure it's secured and not being traced, and finds the results to his liking. He punches in some code and numbers and waits... Meanwhile on Cardassia Prime a console is beeping waiting to be answered. Finally it is answered and secured. No visual is used only voice. "This is a secure channel, it's been a long time old friend..." says the operative. "Indeed it has. I'm glad to know you're still alive. Amazingly enough it seems the Order hasn't caught you yet. However I did not call socially." replies Faldek. "When have you ever made a social call?" the operative rhetorically asks,"What is it you need, old friend?" "I need all the information the Order has on the Badlands, ship improvements, charts, maps, scientific data, you name it." answers Beran. "The badlands. Hmmm I wonder why Starfleet is interested in those? I could have sworn the badlands were a part of the DMZ and Starfleet could get their own information regarding them?" asks the operative. "It is and they are, but I still need this favor." insists Faldek. "It's going to cost you... oh say... ten bars of latinum." offers the operative. "To the usual account?" asks Faldek. "Of course! Send me five now, and I'll transmit the information, then the last five once you are satisfied. Agreed?" says the operative. "Agreed." Faldek taps a few buttons and his bank on Bolius transmits the five bars. "Excellent." says the operative as soon as the operative account registers the transaction. Faldek receives a good sized file over the secured communication link and sends five more bars to the account. "A pleasure as always." "The pleasure was all mine..." said as the operative cuts the comm. Faldek sifts through the file that he received finding some useful information. He presents it in a report and files one copy to his personal database, the other, is hand delivered directly to Admiral Atragon-9, along with a compensation note of what he had to do to get the information. Faldek doesn't expect to get reimbursed the 10 bars of GPL, but it couldn't hurt to try...
