    Ensign Raymond Ganner Assistant Engineer- USS Manticore 0301.16 "Computer, open personal log and begin recording... Well odd first day on the Manticore. Lets see hear, some Colonel Eason, and another fellow, are stuck on the planet below. It's odd how they won't let me beam down and disable the dampening field. It's ok I guess, what do I know I'm just an engineer. This Manticore seems to be a pretty nice ship. I am thinking of a few ways to enhance the propulsion systems, but nothing solid as of yet. The systems seem to be running at top notch efficiency, considering I ran a standard check and a level 2 diagnostic. Oh yeah and that dip head Garnoopy ... he acts like I don't know a bloody thing about engineering, it's rather insulting, I'd like to be I could disassemble and reassemble the matter/antimatter injection assembly and reassemble is before he could think about trying to shut it down! Anyways I'm stuck doing more diagnostics... Computer close personal log..."
