  1. LOL. I knew it. Duct tape rules. Nice hearing from you again Darius. Of course, you're welcome back on the Challenger any time. :)

Great seeing you too Kansas. XO? Commander? Congrats!!!! The Caitians are going to be running Starfleet pretty soon. Actually there were two Caitian Admirals in ST IV. A Caitian Federation President one day????

And, thanks Seiben. I'm coming back to Challenger. :) I want to do a whole bunch of acadamies first to get caught up, maybe come up with a new updated character for the grand ship Challenger (Can you tell I like the conversion?)

    Blessing to all,

    Daryus Williams

Soon to be sucked out of airlocks and eaten by sentient weeds in Acadamy (looking foward to it)

See ya'll in a few months.

See, I told everyone a long time ago, duct tape and a good plasma torch can fix anything. And, here's the proof. :( Don't know if this was between takes. But, DUCT TAPE RULES!!!!!!! Even in the 23rd century. BTW, I'm sorry to have been away so long. I've been back and forth from the doctors with my SMS, and Angel and I are no more. Not getting into any details, but the story is rife for a melodramatic Trek script. :P But, I WILL be back sometime in the next few months. I'm moving to Texas in a few months or so, then I'll get back into STSF. I've missed you all very much.

    Blessings to all,

    Daryus Williams

  3. well not to be nit picky (ok that's not true I'm being intentionally nit picky) Troi's rank was revealed well before that. If you recall in the very first episode of the show, "Encounter at Farpoint" she's wearing one of the "Skant" type uniforms and displaying Lt Cmdr pips. Also, in the season 5 episode "Disaster" Chief O'Brien informs Ensign Ro that Counselor Troi "carries the rank of Lieutenant Commander" and is thus the senior officer present on the bridge. "Chain of Command" was in season 6.

Good point. I used Chain of Command as a reference because it's one of my fav episodes. :D

  4. Or aka...you do not have to be a commander to wreck/destroy a star ship, just really an attractive counselor... :D

Actually Troi's rank during Next Gen was Lieutanent Commander, they revealed it in "Chain of Command" when Captain Jellico calls Troi to the carpet and tells here that "his officers will wear proper uniforms on the bridge". When she returnes in a uniform, she has Lieutenant Commanders pips. She was promoted to full Commander when she passed the bridge officers exam later in Next Gen.

New Voyages is a very good show. The last three episodes have been awesome. I just saw part one of "Of Gods and Man". The full length movie by the NV crew. If you get a chance google it and watch part one. Great stuff.

  5. Hey Luna,

My advice would be to play all the departments you can in academy. Get the feel of each one. Then, when you graduate pick your favorate. As for the technobabble stuff, go to the different advanced sim websites. Alot of them have great tech pages, like Challenger ::smile::. Or, go to some of the sites online. Go to google and search "Star Trek technology technobabble" Some of the sites like Ex Astris Scientia or Memory Alpha (Click to view page) have great tech pages where you can find all the Trek technobabble you need. ::grin:: Good luck.

  6. My first memories of Trek were some of my first memories, of me and my dad watching TOS starting in 1966. I was 2 years old when the series premiered, and 5 when the last episode aired. I wasn't a happy camper. Two of my favorate shows were canceled within a year of each other, Batman and Star Trek. *LOL*

    Zaphod,

  7. I've always been partial to drumsticks, since I was a kid.

Hey all. Yes, I know I've been lost in time and space forever and a day. But, I am planning on making an STSF comeback one of these days. It's just that school has been grueling. But, I've only got three more classes left after this quarter. So, I should be finished by December, then to graduate June 2008. And, then comes the job search. *LOL* I miss you all, and hope to be back soon.
