  1. Dont feel bad Apollo I dont think the photo exists...Bush hated brocolli :D
  2. Hehe...Now um...a photo of George Bush senior eating brocolli.
  3. I sing that song to my cat now! Have I said too much? Hmm Congrats, Dac!
  4. So what was the blue alien all about? Everything back to normal and the whole Xindi/Suliban thing finally over? I work too late to watch it and I'm too lazy to set it up to tape it. Fill me in!
  5. It looks nice...but with all those changes you'd think they could just put in a feature that defaults everyone's font/color to BLACK. That's all I want...not to be attacked by 10 different colors as I go into the chatroom. Is that too much to ask? ;)
  6. Your opinion will change when you have to pay for your posessions and own property, I think :P
  7. And you were wondering why your mother in law was coming over so early? :P
  8. So...they went to a town and pretended to make a movie. And now they've made a TV show about the people who think they're starring in the movie. ..... That has to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. I'll be sure to smack Shatner with a rolled up newspaper next time I see him. :P
  9. The Klingon. He'd just have to lure the Reptillian into a cold room. :P I never understood why on Enterprise there were reptiles running all through the ship and all they had to do was turn down the thermostat to slow them down. :D
  10. If anyone's interested (I bet Fred might be!) I just put the source code (FLA file) to Romulan Wars up for download on the FlashTrek site. Wish I had the original FlashTrek fla file but it got deleted somehow :P PS: FlashWars is also now done.
  11. I watch it because the ladies are hot :D Remember Beverly in that episode where she gets seduced by the ghost? Oh my :P
  12. Interesting. Anyone applying? I'm sure there are thousands of applicants, but you never know!
  13. Oh, good ridd...er I mean...sorry to see you go! LOL jk...I hope you find your way back soon. As I am all too aware of, schedules change and often you manage to sneak back in somehow :(
  14. Why would they lock the topic just because you figured it out? ::scratches head:: I remember this game...never got into it though. Honestly I have never found any game system platform games to be any good. Maybe its because theres not enough keys :(
  15. Well...I'm not 'exactly' following the movie timeline. There's a deathstar under construction earlier in the game that's smaller, and doesn't fire the mega-laser at you. No exhaust ports...you just have to pound on it until it blows up. There's some strategy involved in it, since the deathstar laser pretty much destroys anything in a few shots. And no, my cruiser didn't do anything against the deathstar...it blew up pretty quick (in that screenshot my allied fleet has also been destroyed and I was the last one left), especially since I hadn't managed to take out the Super Star Destroyer...which is really tough.
  16. This game is almost done! Here's a screenshot of the last level.
  17. Name: Stephen "Tepik" Maturin Species: Human Gender: Male Height: 5' 9" Weight: 156 Age: 26 History Stephen "Tepik" Maturin was born on Earth along the eastern coast of Australia. The son of two scientists, he spent most of his life in secluded regions while his parents studied various terrestrial phenomena. At the age of 5 his parents relocated to Vulcan as part of a scientific research program designed to gradually introduce new technologies and extra-terrestrious ideologies to humans. Despite being human, and despite a clear disdain of humans from the Vulcans, Stephen was schooled on Vulcan along with other Vulcan students. Being human and previously home-schooled by his parents, he was well behind his Vulcan counterparts and was placed in classes far below his age-group. Constantly teased by his peers he quickly earned the nickname "Tepik" from his Vulcan classmates. It was not until he was 12 that he learned that "Tepik" is Vulcan for "Savage". But he kept the name as a reminder that Vulcans were not, as most humans believe, the logical and passive people they claim to be, but are capable of cruelty and racism just as any primitive human. To Maturin, the nickname exemplifies an egotistic and ethnocentric Vulcan character. Tepik remained on Vulcan with his parents until he was 18, when he moved back to Earth to continue a human education there. At 19 he joined the Earth StarFleet. Upon completion of his training, Maturin was assigned to the StarFleet Engineering Corps where he made incredible breakthroughs in power distribution technologies. In fact, the Challenger herself uses a Class 4-S Power Junction in its redundancy systems that was co-designed by Maturin. When the Challenger construction was completed he was assigned there as its Chief Engineer.
  18. I just thought I'd suggest that topics become automatically locked when they become old...such as 1+ years w/o a post, and so would be read-only. I dont know if your boards are capable of that but I thought I'd suggest it anyway.
  19. Yeah...its great he's promoted and all...but what kind of captain is going to be happy when he comes aboard and instead of walking through the doors he starts bursting through walls and throwing drinks a little kids? Ooooh yeahhh...
  20. First off, thanks for limiting signatures! I think signatures are great, but sometimes they can get way too long...and when they include huge images, they can take up more space than the post itself :P Some boards have the ability to show the signature only on the first post of the shown page, so it isn't repeated as the poster makes new posts down the page. Would that be possible here?
  21. Nice call Lyon :P
  22. Thanks for the link...I love the ending... "America's Next Top Model" is expected to save Enterprise for a few more years. Oh...what has TV turned into...
  23. I'm just interested in seeing the Romulan War. That's the extent of my interest in the show at this point. The whole Xindi plot was too soap-operatic for me. I'd also like to see how they realistically give the Starfleet any chance of surviving a war with anything, be it the Romulan Empire or a pack of space-dwelling slugs...because just about everything in the galaxy seems to be able to kick the Enterprise's butt...and since its the most powerful ship in the fleet, and they only have 1 of them (and it takes, what, 4 years to build them?) I wouldn't be surprised if Earth was a barren chunk of rock by the end of the show. My opinion is that they need to bring in the Daedalus class...perhaps a spaceframe built by another race with far more rapid production lines. Something more powerful than the NX...but hey, bring in a fleet of those as well. ENT seems more like Voyager...they're close to home, but they might as well be a lost ship in the middle of nowhere :P , because aside from Vulcan ships grumpily helping them once and a while, and the occassional good friend, and the fact that everyone they meet always turns out to want to destroy them (or all of Earth), its going to get a little unbelievable that this ship has managed to survive. 2-cents. I just don't see the problem with ENT bring in a Vulcan civil war. It sure would explain why those puny humans manage to become leaders of the Federation, if Vulcan was temporarily destabilized. Remember if it hasn't been mentioned by Trek, it's up for grabs! Unless they specifically said in some show or movie, "Vulcans have never had a civil war", there is no canon being rewritten...only fan-based assumptions. Like with the Romulans...we know nothing of them, and Nemesis wrote a lot of background info on the Rommies...fans may not like it, but there it is.
  24. Any other precautions you took to your home besides boarding up the windows? I dont know how effective methods of protecting it from flood damage are...honestly I've only lived in regions where the most we have to worry about is the sun being too hot and, of course, scorpions in our shoes :P
  25. Or that :P What about putting a character limit? I know some boards do that also...literally limit the characters. And...maybe not allow images?
