  1. Someone in my family got me a key chain Yoda to take everywhere with me when they were really popular. Long story short, he wouldn't clean up his hut and I got mad and took his batteries out. He still sits on my desk but I don't have the heart to put his battery back in cuz I know he won't clean. It was a life lesson. Since then I have killed 3 fish and 2 plants. I should never have kids. :P
  2. ::shakes her head:: Nemisis you crazy monkey, you ruin everything :P
  3. I agree. It seems to me that the writers had a hard time making the women strong and yet sexy. I always wished they had done more with troi then just making her say I feel pain while wearing small costumes. ::shrugs:: And kestra, this is for all the men and women in starfleet who had to wear the mini ::pulls out a lighter and a miniskirt unifrom and sets it on fire::
  4. I"m Sango who the heck is this??? Looks like she is wearing a cat suit...just my luck.
  5. Dr. Desdemona Levy Chief Medical Officer A Log by Levy – What Lies Beneath Mona stood in the medical center watching the three other officers. She smiled and a wave of happiness came over her. She had been slightly nervous about taking over the medical department, but watching everyone had put her mind at ease. On the mission she had mentally overworked herself and realized now that there had been no need for it. Would the team blend and work well together under her leadership. They proved they were well on their way. Though maybe not from her leadership since she had taken a passive approach on the mission. But she felt it was important to let them know she would support them and try and let everyone excel where their talents lay. Turning her attention back at the group she quietly examined each of them. Tethra seemed to have calmness about him. She had talked with him a few times about subjects other than medicine and every time he slightly amazed her. He had so much knowledge and rightly so for he was over 300 years old. She hoped he would share that with them all. Her interest was highly peaked in regards to what lay under his fishy exterior. Then she focused her gaze on Mia, the shy girl who hardly talked to Mona when they first met. Mona sensed she was getting a little more comfortable around the medical team. She knew once Mia came out of her shell they could expect great things from her. Then she made a mental note to ask Mia about the cute engineer she knew. Then there was Ensign Sydney Richardson. She was not part of medical but Mona had a feeling their departments would be working together a lot. Although the ensign could try her patience at times there was something very endearing about her. She had a childlike enthusiasm for life. Mona at times wished she had that and maybe if she got to know Richardson better some of it might rub off. Her train of thought shifted from each person back to the group, then expanded to the entire crew of the Agincourt. They were her family in a way. People she lived and worked with, supported, respected and trusted with her life. She sighed. “Well enough of the Betazoid examination of people, back to work” she thought
  6. ::looks around and blinks:: you saw me? Where was I?
  7. hhhmmm. Lets see, I got my pip from Lebowski. Yay for Lebowski. Anyway I don't remember all the details other than being the CENG and blowing up half the ship. And that folks is why I am in medical. Thanks again buddy.
  8. For many of you who know me this will come as no shock.....death to the miniskirt!!!! Really how are the ladies gonna be good officers when they are worried about flashing a cheek every now and then. And I was watching TOS the other day and there was a girl on the bridge passing out cups (coffee I assume) What the? Anyway if the future is so awesome then why are women taking steps backwards. ::steps off her soapbox, picks it up and walks off::
  9. oh boy I lightsaber fight. I am so there. ::grabs some popcorn and gets in line to make sure she gets a good seat::
  10. Dr. Desdemona Levy Chief Medical Officr Medical Log - A Log by Levy Medical Log... In the brief period that my team and I have been on the surface we have come across some very startling discoveries. The medication for the Iwpey virus should have started working some time ago, yet it has not. By comparing blood samples we have found that we are dealing with something other than what we first thought. I have asked te science team to see if they can locate a cause of the outbreak and provide some options as to how to stop it from traveling further. So far they believe it might have ben caused by a local fruit and fermentation procedures. On a medical front we are trying to find a cure before more lives are lost. I hope that this all will be resolved soon before the death toll rises any higher or an of the crew is infected.
  11. 1. I am gonna have to go with U2's, All that You Can't Leave Behind (that cd got me through a lot of hard times) and the soundtrack to the tv show Scrubs (awesome collection of randomness) 2. I think "Such Great Heights" by the Postal Service and "You Can't always get What You Want" by the Rolling Stones
  12. Oh thats great, Trekkies gone Wild. I love it. I picture starfleet officers making faces at senior officer and unziping the turtle neck under their uniform. Show us a little neck people.
  13. Dr. Miranda Porter Medical Officer Log - Dazed and Confused Miranda sat on the floor of her quarters feeling somewhat dazed. It had been an odd away mission. The entire time she had been on the station she felt slightly unnerved. To see all the dead with horrible looks of fear on their faces was a sight she couldn't get out of her mind. Then a startling reality hit her, "that could have been me!" She had always known that with Starfleet duties came risks, but until that moment she never really thought of them as a reality. Once again she saw the look on the face of a young security officer. "He must have a name, a family and a life," she thought. "Well not anymore." She looked down at the small container of rations she was still holding. A slight smile came across her face. "Ration time? Mom should have called it chaos time." The mental image of the death on the station slowly faded away. A new image started to form, one of dinnertime with her family. Her mother had always referred to it as ration time. Miranda on the other hand had always called it chaos. The normal attendance at dinner included her sisters and their husbands, 9 nieces and nephews, some aunts and uncles, a few cousins (and in later years their children), her parents of course and any actors or crew who wanted to stay. There never seemed to be a lack of love, laughter and food. She had given all that up for what? A chance to die on some cold space station or a strange planet? On Earth she could have helped her parents with the theatre and continued to act. At some point she might have gotten married and have kids, much like her sisters. But then again she had never really been much like her sisters. "Why can't I be content with life? Why do I always want something just out of my reach? Then when I finally get it its not exactly what I want." She sighed as she felt a tear run down her cheek and hit the carpet. She noticed she was no longer just sitting on the floor, but was now laying down curled up in a ball. Looking at the bed on the other side of the room she decided it was too much effort. Closing her eyes she drifted off into a restless dreamless sleep.
  14. So even tho I wrote a log i am gonna have to vote for Nesbitt. I liked the use of duplicity, but I think what really got my vote was Sergeant Pepper, Corporal Punishment, and Private Parts. They seem like fine officers and I tip my hat to them...and Nesbitt too I guess. ::Tips her hat::
  15. Your Lightsaber is Blue Blue is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, and truth. Man how did I get this one. Stability and truth that is so not me
  16. Dr Desdemona Levy Chief Medical Officer A Log by Levy – Give 'em the antidote (duplicity log) Mona, with the help of her small team had unpacked the supplies and set up a small control center. She had started to work on the medication. The treatment of ‘Iwpey, was very simple, it took a few minutes to create the antidote. Two medications by themselves had no effect, but when mixed they could save lives. The only drawback was it had to be mixed right before it was used, that was the key. If they were mixed and left together for a long period of time it could be fatal. The duplicity of the antidote amazed her, on minute helpful the next harmful. She looked at the two vials in her hand then back to her team. She had instructed everyone on what they needed to do and now they were scurrying around like ants. She paused for a moment looking out at the sea of infected people. Even as a doctor she was shocked at times how something that seemed so unassuming can lead to so much devastation. “So many people suffering.” She thought, “Put up a mental wall. This was no time to get overwhelmed with emotion.” Quickly she focused back to the problem on hand. Get the medication ready and get it to the people. Every doctor on the planet was exhausted so it was up to her and her staff to quickly asses the situation and get things under control. She resolved herself to do just that. As she had told Mia early this mission was a get in, help, and then get out. She didn’t mean it in a mean way, but she thought the best kind of doctor was the one who could help quickly and efficiently and that is what she would do.

  22. I went to my sisters house today to visit. Right now my two of my nephews are crazy into star wars (I am trying to get them on star trek but it's not working very well) and the asked me to play the playstation SW lego game. It's a fun game so I usually agree. I really like the Jedi named Shaak Ti, I don't know why but I do. Today the older one told me that he knew why I like her. I asked him why and he said "Tia....Shaak Ti. add an A and its you, Shaak Tia" The boys call me Tia which is spanish for aunt, but now I will be know as Shaak Tia. So I guess that is who I would be.

  25. LtJg Desdemona Levy Chief Medical Officer Personal Log – That’s the big news? Desdemona sat in her quarters. “Computer please open a channel to the Levy residence on Earth.” The computer took a few seconds to work and then reported, “Channel open”. A face appeared on the screen. It was Mona’s mother Katharine. She looked the same as always, blue tunic, hair haphazardly pulled up into a bun and dirt on her face. Mona laughed. “Hello mother. I see you have been working in the greenhouse.” “Yes dear, you should see my monkey puzzle tree, it’s beautiful. When will you be able to come home?” A small smile crossed Mona’s face. “Not for some time I am afraid. Is dad around, I have some great news.” Katharine’s eyes widened. “You met someone? Your getting married…No your pregnant, when are you due? Is it…” Mona shook her head. “No mother just get dad. I want to tell you both.” Katharine just smiled and nodded. “He’ll be her in a sec” she heard some noise in the background and then her father appeared on the screen. Mona smiled “hey dad” Garrett Levy looked a bit confused as he answered, “hi doll, nice to hear from you. Your mom said something about you getting married or something.” Katharine looked at her husband as Mona rolled her eyes. “No dad, mother is just…” she paused noticing the two were still looking at each other. “Hey…hey” her parents both looked back to the screen at thee same time. “Could we talk out loud please, it gets really annoying when you do that. Anyway my big news is I just was promoted to CMO on the Agincourt” There was a pause as her parents looked at each other then back to the screen. Then together they both started talking enthusiastically “that’s great, wonderful. Such and honor” Mona shook her head slightly “you have no idea what that means do you” Both of them shook their heads no. “it means I am going to be the head of the medical department, it’s a really big honor” Once again her parents looked at each other then back to her Katharine was the first to say something. “I am so proud of you…so there’s no other news” Mona replied dryly “Nope, no other news. That was it” Katharine gave an awkward smile as Garrett put him arm around her and said, “ That’s great doll, we’ll tell the boys. But you should tell Min on your own.” Mona nodded “I’ll do that. Well I have to go. Love you both. Bye” She turned off the computer and sat down on a nearby chair. “Well, that could have gone better” she thought.
