  1. It's a great name for it!
  2. If anything, do a Message Board SIM. It's alot less hectic with less e-mails, etc...
  3. That is ONE example of the many things said in that since... Now, I do see where you're coming from, Nemisis. I know it may not feel that great, but I am an American and a proud one at that, and so I can name my ship Reagan, but if you don't like it because you aren't an American or didn't like his politcies, etc, then that is fine objection but I do NOT like reading so many posts that say that I have a SIM that is a "political jungle," etc. when that is NOT the reason for me to do so.
  4. Okay, I do NOT want to get this one locked, but I have to say something: The USS REAGAN IS A NAME HONORING A NEWLY DECEASED PRESIDENT. NO POLITICS IS INTENDED. And a question: WHY CAN'T A STARSHIP BE NAMED AFTER AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT (without making everything political) FOR CRIPE'S SAKE!!!
  5. That is a great idea! And my starship SIM idea, the USS REAGAN, could work out in that sense, too... Great work Marris!
  6. A sad tale...We've lost a great artist and another patriot. Long Live Ray Charles! ^_^
  7. I have done 18 SIMs and am still trying! I am getting VERY frustrated, but I will take as long as it takes...
  8. Okay, well it was just a quick statement of my opinion, and that is all. Now I say that we all drop it. Back to Reagan... Truly, however, Reagan was already gone years ago...
  9. I can add in comments if I want. It is my opinion that Bush is the closest person to Reagan at this time.
  10. I agree. And although I am not old enough to remember his Presidency, I honor him for his great work. Now, although he may not be like Reagan, Bush is that person that we need in this time.
  11. Reagan was the 2nd best President of the United States. He revived the spirit and moral of America, won the Cold War, and repaired a horrible economy. It is a sad day for America. A great person--a great American and a great President has died. At least his family is out of the misery and trouble of Alzheimers and him remember NOTHING. He accomplished many great things. His speaking skills unmatched by all since Hitler (even though I hate Hitler). Unfortuantly, although he was lived by many, he is one of the most hated--perhaps not personally, but still...--by the Liberals next to President Bush 43 (now.) Hats off and salute Ronald Reagan as he rises up into heaven for eternal life in paradise...
  12. What if at the beginning of each they were told that it would not help them graduate, and the same when a new person joins? Who would be interested in leading a Friday SIM? -I would, but I would need someone else to help me as well as someone else to help come up with plots--and yet, like so many others, I do not have Fridays always free... Who would be interested in participating?
  13. Consider this: STSF creating a Friday Academy SIM in the evenings. If not, would anyone be interested in starting one? This would be during some later time, not like the earlier practice SIMs, and yet would be a practice SIM. Your thoughts? I say yes to either one.
  14. I'm gonna try to do it...and it's a good thing I have been told that it usually starts 15 minutes late...I get out of school at 3:00...
  15. I say that it would be funny, kind of, if Bill O'Reilly--a good guy and independent (politically) minded--would guess star as some sort of figure. :)
