  1. just my opinion...and I LOVE TNG..but its refreshing not to have a crisis and resolution all in one hour...frankly...deciding the fate of the entire planet should take at least 13 hours...(one season) I like it... I like toast, too, though.....so.......
  2. After taking the precursory tour with t'Ditsy, Vosh was called to Dheno. The general tone of the voice over the intercom let him know in NA uncertain terms this would NA be a pleasant meeting. In hind sight, he should have studied the specs on the Talon in advance. He had studied all the classes at school. But that had been so long ago, now. All he had done lately was try to avoid any contact with his family. Which, as an only child, had proven a difficult task. So, not knowing where he was going, he was forced to ask for Ditsy's help...an event he did na plan to duplicate. She told/showed him the way with her trademark flair. He didnt bother with parting pleasantries. He chose, instead to march directly into the mouth of the beast...for that is exactly what lay ahead. The only indication he was facing a female officer was the voice he had heard over the PA. She was na attractive. As tall as Vosh and almost as muscular, she was an imposing character...then she opened her mouth and went from imposing to full blown intimidation. After a brief verbal beating, Vosh assertained that the best way to deal with t'Vixen was to yy'a her with kindness(or possibly, later, just yy'a her). A skilled diplomat, for his age, Vosh knew the best way to handle Vixen was to use her strength against her. It was as good a strategy as any. His assignment was simple...feed, water, guard the prisoners in the br'tehh. One of which was apparently the Daise Dheno, NDak. In a chance encounter with the KhreRiov...Vosh learned that not only did Vixen not like this NDak...but that the KhreRiov didn't necessarily care for Vixen. This was intriguing in that it increased the potential for promotion drastically. If he could stay out of the spotlight long enough, these two could destroy one another leaving him the spoils. He wondered if tr'Lahir was finding this kind of "loyalty" in maenek. With both parents as maeneks, Vosh had been constantly exposed to various maenek terminologies as well as general maenek knowledge. With a little research and help from tr'Lahir..he could come up with something to take care of Vixen as well as keep him out of suspicion...just in case his superiors didnt wipe one another out. Vosh smiled...a cruel smile...he enjoyed being prepared. He re-entered Dheno after retrieving his Kaleh and disruptor from the Armory. Vixen took great pleasure in pointing to his ridiculously small desk in the rear of the room. For his part, Vosh was fine with it. Small, poorly lit, and out of the way; here he could fade into the shadows when necessary. He sat at his desk and began studying the layout of the RES TALON. He would na be caught na knowing another location.
  3. ^_^ Gross, eh.......... Well...French Horns intro'd DS9 and Voyager...and sounded AWESOME. French Horn is one of if not the most difficult intrument to play...3 keys to play all different notes..with a tiny mouthpiece...in different octaves... Bahh...aus would na know good music if it slapped au on aus forehead ridges ;)
  4. since we are confessing..while I love Enterprise..I HATE that blasted theme. IT was fine first season. But the way they "popped" it up with a groovy little background...UUgghhh. PLEASE...just bring back my FRENCH HORN solos...PLEASE!!!
  5. You know whats really scary...like Ghostly Tovan scary... I like Donuts, too ;) ^_^ ;)
  6. Apparently, Van Roy and I agree on alot more than I knew. This was the catalyst for the new TNG. The show had to evolve or perish and it evolved. ::shivers:: Staring at Locutus...with that little red light zooming around...timeless.

  10. Saek looked out across space from the station window. With the lighting in its reduced capacity, the view was beautiful. The young Rihannsu hoped his future was reflected in these stars. However, constant arguements with his father had left him with some trepidation. "Na cut out for the military" and "au will na make it in space" were phrases that kept ringing in his head. His mother, for her part, had tried to be supportive but Saek knew she, too ,had wanted him to follow their lead and go into medicine. It did na matter what Saek wanted. All that mattered was that the Vosh name continue to be associated with healing. Perhaps that was why he chose security. He could hurt things to give his parents job security. With that thought, he laughed out loud. the sound of his laughter brought him back to the moment. He saw another young Rihannsu off to the side and approached him. His name was Lahir, another new member of the RES Talon. Saek decided he would make this io an ally. As his father had so elequently pointed out, he would be all alone. Na friends...na family. Isolated. Ie, he would need an ally. His fathers reports of treachory among the enlisted ranks was probably exaggerated. But, better safe..than yy'a. Finally, the liason officer from the Talon arrived...a rather bimbonic female with big eyes and a nice enough smile. However, Saek found himself paying attention to other assets..as he followed behind her. He was ready. He was going to prove his father wrong. He was going to prove everyone wrong. And when he was finished, the Vosh name would be associated with something besides mere maeneks. Saek took a last look across his stars and disappeared inside the Rihannsu vessel.
  11. YOU'RE ALL WRONG!! Just kidding :) Now be honest...either you give the show a chance..or you don't. I know several of you claim to hate it..and thats cool. I never liked DS9 ::ducks:: But the show has finally got some "meat" to it. Archer is developing; going through things no human has ever done before...Frankly, I would have done he same thing given the circumstances...the scene with him in his Room in the dark..powerful stuff. While I didn't like the T'Pol subplot, it did explain why she's been so freakin non-Vulcan, lately. I guess I had hoped that by the time we reached out into space, things like drug addiction would have been eradicated. Naive...maybe. And the Enterprise...Boy Howdy...looking like Tina after mouthing off to Ike :D :) I thought it was an awesome episode and I hope the trend continues.
  12. Pfft...Now Grom..you know trek fans have no life.... :)
  13. What's Hockey?.... :)
  14. :) :D  ....That mega-post..all for naught... thats TOO funny....well, HAppy BDAY Fred... ::gives FRED a gift certificate to Thunderbolts-R-Us:: Enjoy!!
  15. Its sad , but I believe our aquatic friend is on to something....*sigh* Sell-outs! Well, Enterprise has been better..perhaps they have been less involved already... :)
  16. Dont actively recruit in STSF...its bad form (no hint) Forget Email... and try Real time play...you can still email logs (Big HINT) Au are missing out on some excellent Rihannsu sims..see t'Rex's earlier post... Try it...au might like it.. :)
  17. Jolan tru, Cadet. Au did na do too bad as ASEC. Perhaps we will sim together again, soon. Remind me, I have something special for au. Until next time, Cadet CRunchy...err...Cheatle.....::WEG::
  18. how about "The Future Evil"
