  1. Irish people.
  2. In that split second it was as if time itself froze. Agrie could do two things, stop and go back and help t'A up, or he could continue running. If he went back to help her, the two of them would surely be captured by Psichore, but if he continued running then at least he would be spared, but t'A would be captured regardless. He didn't know what to do, but as he already knew he had to finish the mission, so he continued running. He wasn't exactly proud of this decision to sacrifice t'Aehjae, but he knew it had to be done, and he was almost completely sure that she understood why. So, Agrie continued running, but after he had gotten a good distance away he leaped into an area of thick foliage that would give him enough cover to keep out of Psichore's sights, but to still be able to keep an eye on t'Aehjae. Agrie could feel the sweat coursing all over his body, sliding through crevices, dripping into his eyes. His breathing was a bit labored due to all the running, but he knew he'd have to stay perfectly still and perfectly quiet until he was sure that Psichore was done and gone with t'A. As Agrie predicted Psichore finally arrived at where t'A was laying. Agrie couldn't hear the exchange that was going on between the two of them, but the next thing he knew Psichore had raised a crude club like device and had started whacking t'A in the legs with it. Agrie crouched in the foliage, eyes wide, unable to believe what he was witnessing. He could not believe that another Rihan could be so cruel to one of his brethren. Agrie could feel the anger swell in him, he wanted to do something, he wanted to go running in and grab the club that Psichore was wielding and smash his legs with it, just so that Psichore could feel what it was like, but in all truth, Agrie was na a match for Psichore. The hunter could easily overtake Agrie in any hand to hand combat. So Agrie crouched there, aghast, unable to really do anything, no matter how angry he got. He was sure that Psichore was probably upset that Agrie had escaped his clutches and that he was displacing his anger upon t'Aehjea; which he would expect from someone who seemed so proud and so sure of himself that no other Rihan would be any contest for him. So Agrie stood there, and watch the savage beat down of t'A, who was helpless to stop the hunter Psichore. Shortly there after, Psichore seemed to be finished with with t'A and left the area. Agrie was no fool, he would wait a moment to make sure that the hunter was completely gone from the area before he'd make any move towards t'A. Even afterwords Agrie proceeded towards t'A with caution. She then told him what he suspected, both of her legs were broken and she was unable to really move too much. Agrie felt helpless, he wanted to help t'A but he was ill equipped to do anything for her. She then proceeded to tell Agrie to take all of her things and to advance, her food, ISD, everything. Agrie was not about to do any of that nonsense, he wasn't about to let her lay her in the middle of the wild with no way to eat or drink. He took the only thing he needed, t'A's ISD, so that he could have a better idea of where the extraction point was. He knew this was a mission for teamwork, but there really was no hope that t'A would be able to continue... As Agrie crouched there next to t'A he knew that he couldn't linger for long, for he had no idea how long Psichore would be gone. Once Agrie was sure that t'A was going to be okay for the time he then sprinted back into the deep foliage and ran in the opposite direction that he saw Psichore go. He drew his Kaleh to cut through all the foliage so he could get through the swamp as quickly as he could. He called upon the Elements to protect t'Aehjae, to make sure she got out of all this alive, that was something that he hoped for. So here was, running. Breathing in and out, trying to get as far as he could from t'A. He could still feel the sweat all over his body, mostly due to the it dampening all of his clothing, but he still ran. He ran in hopes of finally getting the mission over with. Hope, the greatest strength and the greatest weakness of any being, and as Agrie ran, he was full of hope, the resolve strengthened as he mustered all of his strength, and he still ran. He ran not only because of his hope, but he ran because he knew he would survive, he wouldn't succumb to being captured, he just kept saying to himself "I will survive...I WILL survive..." <END LOG>
  3. Agrie ran, he ran as quickly as his legs could take him. The small branches from the tree's kept smacking him in the race as he ran, he tried to use his Kaleh in an attempt to clear his way through the swamp, but it wasn't all that efficient. This mission was turning out be worst than Agrie expected. For starters he got stuck with landing in the swamp, the last place anyone would want to be in, and then he managed to be one of Psichore's first targets to be hunted down during the mission. Agrie was a Maenak, he was na a Dheno or anything of the sort, but he had something to prove. That even though he was a Maenak, he could accomplish any mission that any other crew member could do. He knew that he would give it his all during this mission, almost as if his life depended on it's outcome. Agrie couldn't help but feel unfortunate that he had landed in the swamp, it was murky and humid almost all the time. And the two things that were constantly a nuisance were the insects and the bogs that lay hidden all through the swamp. The insects, for starters, just love to feast on Agrie, and the bites were starting to lead to rather nasty rashes that started to appear on his arms mostly, but after a while, and after landing in so many bogs, he started to smell so badly that not even the insects would approach him. The bogs were also another nuisance, at first they were difficult to detect and see and it often lead to Agrie falling into them, but after the first couple of days Agrie became pretty good at avoiding them, even though he would get caught in one every once in a while. The food and drink was also a bit of a problem, but not as major. He still couldn't get over the fact of him smelling so bad, but perhaps it was was a blessing in disguise...perhaps... The food and water was another thing was proving to be problematic. Agrie had only received three days worth of hard tac, and an empty water bottle. He had managed to stretch the tac out so that it would last him at the very least five days. The remaining five days of the hike would require Agrie to hunt down some food in order to keep himself alive. The other thing was that the water in the swamp was probably the most disgusting that Agrie had ever seen, he would never dream of even drinking it without having it boiled first. Luckily the water bottle he was given was made of a heat tolerant material so he was able to boil the water directly in the water bottle. He thought that he was fortunate to have gotten the bottle, cause he knew without water he was pretty much a dead man. So Agrie, with food and water in tow, hiked as quickly as he could towards the extraction location. After the third day of hiking, when Agrie was passing nearby a rather large lake, he could make out a splashing noise off in the distance. He didn't know if this was a trap that was laid out for him by Psichore, since it was the third day and he was probably out and about. But Agrie couldn't help but go and look. He sneaked over to a log in an attempt to see what all the commotion was, but before he knew it the trap had been sprung. He heard a strange noise from behind him and turned to looked and low and behold a log was rapidly approaching Agrie. He managed to jump out of it's way in time, but the only thing he thought of when he landed on the ground was that it would probably be a good idea to get the hell out of there. He then sprinted off into a deeper portion of swamp, and Psichore, as he had suspected, followed. Psichore was firing his gun with it's strange bullets, and as Agrie ran he could hear them whizzing by his head. He dodged from here and there, doing rolls every once in a while, trying his best and hardest to avoid the bullets. But a moment afterwords he noticed that the shots had fired. When he looked behind himself, Psichore was taking aim at what was causing all the commotion in the lake, t'Aehjea. Agrie knew if he didn't do something that t'A would be captured by Psichore, he needed to accomplish two things, distract Psichore, and to give t'A enough time to run out of the lake and meet with him. Agrie then grabbed a nearby rock and threw it towards Psichore's generally direction, and proceed to yell "t'A!! Get out of there! Psichore has you in his sights!" At that moment, Agrie managed to accomplish his two goals. Psichore had been distracted by Agrie long enough for t'A to run out of lake and to come running up to Agrie, with Agrie already back to running. It had begun, the two of them were running as quickly as they could to avoid the grasp of Psichore. Agrie continued running, he pleaded with the Elements to give him enough strength to escape from Psichore, but before he knew it, he heard a loud thud from behind him. t'Aehjea had been pelted in the back of the head with the same rock that Agrie had thrown at Psichore, and she was out on the ground behind Agrie. What could he do!... <TBC>
  4. Arrain t'Aehjae Dheno, RES Talon Ne'Arrain Agrie tr'Lahir Manaek, RES Talon <BEGIN LOG> t'Aehjae laid in her quarters, she was still in much pain from the lashings she received and was taking the Maenak's orders to rest. She found the pain she was still suffering from was becoming too unbearable and she had to call the Medical Bay to see if they could help. She called out over the comm "tA to Medbay!". Agrie was in the medical bay, overlooking N'Dak current progress when he hear the call. "Lahir here. Is there a problem??" he said over the comm. "Am I allowed to receive medicines to allow me to rest as ordered by the Daise Maenak? Daise Ksa had given me some medication earlier but it has, unfortunately, worn off. Perhaps a pain killer or sleeping agent?" t'A said. "Yes of course. I can be by au quarters with some medication to help in few minutes" Agrie replied. "... hann'yyo" she replied as the comm closed. She laid across her bed, barely able to stand the pain from her wounds; with tears starting to form at her eyes.... Agrie closed the comm and grabbed a few painkillers and a sleeping pill to help t'Aehjae rest for the evening. He left the bay in the hands of one of the nurses and exited the bay, making his way for t'A's quarters. Agrie made his way as quickly as he could to t'A's quarters. He knew that the lashing would have grave after effects on those punished. During his time in Makes it to the door to tA's quarters, with his kit in hand, and rings the door chime. t'A rose slightly from her bed and barked "ENTER!!", she then plopped back down on across the bed. As the doors slid open Agrie looked around, wondering where t'A was. "Meanak? Is that Au?" t'A said, as she lay in her bed. As Agrie glanced about he responded "Ie, it is I." "I am in my room to the left" t'A said as she laid on her stomach, her bare back still showing; she also hadn't changed out of her medbay gown yet. Agrie looked to his left and saw her laying there. "Is everything okay??" he said, as he walked over to her side. "Na..." she said as she slightly moved to be able to look at him . "I wish a sedative or pain killer.. I close my eyes and relive the experience." she added while Agrie grabbed his multicorder from his kit to scan her. "Then I can na sleep....my heart races....my heart and mind.." she said Agrie nodded while listening, putting the multicorder away, "Au are suffering from post traumatic syndrome. This is typical after what you especially went through..." he said. "Can au make it stop?" she asked in an almost pleading tone. "Through some sessions, but it will take time. It will na be very easy." he said, while a tear ran down t'A's face to the tip of her nose. Agrie grabbed a tissue from his kit and handed it to t'A. "Crying is fine, au should na be ashamed of it. Au need some way of letting your feelings out. Especially after such a traumatic experience." he said. "I can na cry... it is unfit for an officer of the Galea" she replied. "Officer of the Galea or na, au is still a person...." he said, as t'A dried a tear from her eye. "..But, first things first." he added. He then reached into his kit and grabbed the painkillers and sleeping agent for t'A. "Meanak's orders were to rest ...I can na do that without hearing the sound of the whip and then my body feels the pain all over again.." she said. Agrie nodded, "Do na worry about, au should not bode on those memories, they will do you no good..." he said, while he put the hypo up against t'A's neck and gave her the painkillers. "...this is for au pain" he said. t'A flinched slightly as the hypo released its contents, "Hann'yyo" she said. Agrie nodded and said "Au are welcome". While he said this t'A felt her muscles begin to relax. "Now. Once I give au aur sleeping agent, au should na have a problem sleeping..." Agrie said. t'A looked up at Agrie and smiled. "...This should allow au to have a dreamless sleep" he said. "Menkha, I do na wish to dream of the experience again..." t'A said. "Do na worry, it will help. Also, tomorrow afternoon I would like for au to come by the medical bay and we can commence some treatment for au's situation..." he replied, as the painkillers took full hold on t'A. "..and for a check as well" he added. t'A nodded her head slightly, as she now relaxed somewhat. "Ie Rekkhai" she said. Agrie nodded and quirked a brow at t'A, proceeding with giving her the sleeping agent with the hypo. "Au should start to feel drowsy in a matter of minutes." he said, to which she responded with a nod. He then ran off and grabbed her a blanket to cover her with. t'A began to breath slowly, and her eyes began to close. " If au needs something, call the medical bay, some io will be here to help at any notice." Agrie said as he noted she started to drift to sleep. "Hann...yy..o" she responded quietly, before finally going unconscious. Agrie made sure was nicely covered with the blanket. He proceeded to exit her bedroom and quarters, deciding to head back to the Medical Bay to finish a few things up. <END LOG>
  5. It had been a rather hectic three days for Agrie since he joined the Talon, but it was not beyond anything he wasn't expecting. Many of the crew appeared rather strange to him, like a certain one who's name kinda sounds like 'Mitsy', but he did not care much about it, the nurses and the Daise Maenak were the only people he was to care about, and t'Ksa did not appear to dislike him very much, which he found to be a plus. Also, on his first day on the Talon, he had been approached by the Dheno named tr'Vosh when he first arrove, but Agrie thought that the two of them where simply going to be cohorts, but he was sure wrong. Vosh had approached him and asked him if he could help get rid of t'Vixen, the acting Daise Dheno at the time, though he went along with it at the time, he felt a bit hesitant to the idea of this type of treachery, could it be that Vosh was really a spy and was testing his loyalties? He didn't know, and he didn't care, but he knew he would have to play along for the time, and when everything was ready he would be willing to sacrifice Vosh if that meant his advancement to the Galae Retor, for his loyalties was to the Star Empire, everything was secondary. He knew that he would have to keep a cautious eye on all of the traitorous Dheno's. The following day, after his talks with Vosh, was even more eventful then his first day. Khre'Riov t'Rexan was beamed aboard the ship with her newly placed hand from her daughter missing, she would not say how it happened, but it was not his place to question his superior, so he continued on with tending her wound. Then a Senator appeared in the Medical Bay, a gentlemen by the name of D’Lvon N’dak, to speak with t'Rexan about the actual Daise Dheno, Destorie N'dak. During the time the Khre'Riov and the Senator exchanged fire at one another he felt the senator was a pompous pratt, but once again he would not open his mouth to someone who was a high member of the Empire and utter such disrespect to his face, t'Rexan was doing it for him. He knew that the Khre'Riov's wound needed to be attended to, but he also knew she wanted to resolve the discussion with the Senator and let it be done and over with. Then something happened with t'Vixen and tr'Vosh in the HIC, he cared not for what had happened to them, so he had Nurse t'Ratchet take care of them. Agrie also knew that he would have to wait for t'Ksa to come back from her leave to do the actual surgery that would replace t'Rexan's hand, for he did not have much experience with the procedure and the procedure would be very complex. The only person that had actually successfully completed the procedure on board was the Daise Maenak, but everything was ready for when she would arrive. They would have to work quickly, but he knew the surgery would be a success and it wouldn't be long till the Khre Riov would have a new hand. The last three days had sorely tested Agrie, but he knew his time on the Talon was not going to be cakewalk, their was still much to come.
  6. I am simply waiting on my Rihannsu brothers to be shown in such a primative time, so I'd say the Rihannsu. Also I'd like to see them beat those Lloann'na.....
  7. I've chopped this guy's head off... If you'd be so kind to add that as my title.
