  1. Captain's Log Stardate 0209.24 Captain Frederic Meve "Begin Recording. Our investigation of the "dead" Klingon vessel continues. Due to the work of Aegis teams, it has been confirmed the ship is indeed the I.K.S. Rankuf. The ship, last reported to be under the command of a Captain Klaagax, has been confirmed as the vessel who was to transport our Cardassian prisoners to Qo'nos. Something of an interesting detail was the fact the ship apparently received it's orders to report to Aegis over a week ago. This is odd since supposedly, the provisional Cardassian government hadn't even decided to remove the prisoners from their jurisdiction until four days ago. How is it this ship got the orders before they were even written? Perhaps more importantly, why did it take them so long to get to Aegis? In the mix of all this is positive news, the arrival of my new First Officer...Commander Ayers. Though I have not had a chance to meet him yet, if his service record is any indication, I am certain we will make good use of his talents here. End log."
  2. Hey there! Welcome to the forum. Hope to see you in the Academy. :)
  3. Mission Summary Sky Harbor Aegis Report By Commander Ayers Stardate 0209.13 Commander Ayers arrived on the station to find it under some sort of quarntine type situation. He was escorted to the Captain which is where the game ended. Meanwhile, the away team, consisting of Hawke, Griffin and Muon continued to explore the Klingon ship which they've discovered has no living crew. Muon managed to access the ship's logs and discovered that it is the IKS Rankuf under the command of Captain Klaagax. The ship recieved orders a week ago to report to Aegis to pick up some Cardassian prisoners. Griffen examined the bodies, noted the teeth and claw marks and the heavy state of decomposition to the bodies, past the point where there is no skin to the bodies. Hawke scanned for other lifeforms onboard the ship but couldn't detect any.
  4. Captain's Log Stardate 0208.28 Captain Frederic Meve "Begin Recording, The cause of death for our Klingon visitors remains something of a mystery even though several days have past with them in orbit around us. Regretfully, information from the Klingon Empire regarding the ship's last assignment have been less than forthcoming. If I didn't know better I'd say they were trying to keep this entire thing a secret. Perhaps what's even more of a mystery is the Empire's refusal to send another vessel to transport our "guests." These six political troublemakers have been aboard Aegis for close to a week now. Knowing how grapevines work, I'm certain some on Cardassia are beginning to figure out where they are. After the Klingon's insistence they conduct a further interrogation, why are they all of a sudden refusing to send another ship? The mystery seems to be getting deeper and deeper...with no answers coming."
  5. Captain's Log - SD 0208.28 Captain Fred Michaels The Reaent had arrived at Starbase 342 to offload the colonists they had rescued. Perhaps the term "rescued" implied something which really wasn't there. By the time the away team had arrived on the surface, they had found no resistance. Outside of a few puddles of goo medical was analyzing, there hadn't been much to do except unlock a few doors. The most annoying thing to Michaels was the number of those they had saved. Medical had reported only about fifty had been beamed up alive, most apparently female. Yet no evidence existed of what happened to the other two thousand or so people who had called Orega V home. No ship had left orbit while the Reaent was there...no life signs were on the surface. Where had they gone? Sadly, those who had survived didn't have much information to give. From here on, the personnel at Starbase 342 would continue to interview those who were alive and try to piece together what had happened. As for the Reaent herself, they were being assigned to do something less violent...negotiate a trade alliance with a planet in the Jera system. This mission would be the first full assignment for the Ambassador class ship's new First Officer, Commander Tau. Though Fred was grateful for his arrival, he was still annoyed at the need for a new Executive Officer. The abrupt transfer of Commander Carrington hadn't been something the Captain planned on. However, he had heard good things of Tau in the past...hoping they would benefit the ship during their next mission.
