  1. Hey all, As the topic suggests, a site has posted a Paramount released five minutes and twenty seconds of scenes from Star Trek: Nemesis. Here's the link for those who'd like to see it... http://www.ifilm.com/ifilm....00.html Personally, I found the scenes very interesting. Looks like Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn all over again. I only hope they don't spend the rest of the movie with that hole in the bridge... :)
  2. Hello! Congratulations to the below individuals on their assignment aboard an STSF advanced sim. We all wish you the best! Ensign Precip - U.S.S. Hood - 11/22/2002 (additional posting) Ensign HD - Sky Harbor Aegis - 11/22/2002
  3. STARFLEET PRIORITY ONE COMMUNIQUE TO: Captain Frederic Meve Commanding Officer, Sky Harbor Aegis FROM: Fleet Admiral Peter Jones Commanding Officer, Sector 187-A Ops ================================================ Captain, The Federation Council agreed to Starfleet's request for an emergency session. As I transmit this message, it is just about to finish. In the end, after much debate, the council has agreed to what is now being called "Emergency Measure 8712." Emergency Measure 8712 is the planetary evacuation of the Cardassian homeworld. Though they are still debating where to move the population, every available ship from within the Federation is being ordered to your area. From civilian cruise liners to empty cargo tankers, everything is heading your way. Planetary fleets are also being sent to your location, things like the Ceti Alpha Defense Force is on it's way. Mind you they only have 5 ships but anything will help. Starfleet is mobilizing everything it can find. Utopia Planetia is actually trying to bring online some older vessels to act as transports during this operation. At present, it is estimated at least four hundred vessels will be arriving at your location within the next two weeks. The exact figure will probably not be known for several weeks. I will alert you when more information has become available. Cardassia's just become the hottest thing in the galaxy Captain. Though our people don't think you'll be able to save everyone, we're not telling the general public that. Once the Cardassian government makes their announcement in two days, we'll announce our plans. Signed, Peter Peter Jones Admiral Sector 187-A Ops
  4. Oh look at the little Moosie....   HAPPY BIRTHDAY
  5. Captain's Log Stardate 0211.21 Captain Fred Michaels "Begin recording. Poy Ambassador Mint has left the Reaent. Given his attitude towards the situation I can only hope the situation will improve. It has become clear the Poy government had no intention of actually assisting the Mji. Instead, their focus remained on mocking their celestial neighbor. Given the history we have seen, I would not be surprised if the goal would have eventually been some sort of domination. With medical tests confirming the "cure" the Poy brought is nothing more than simple headache medicine, I have decided to see if the Reaent herself cannot try and assist the Mji. To a degree I can understand their attack against us, as sometimes desperate times can call for desperate measures. To that end I am willing to give them another chance. Hopefully my crew will be able to secure a cure to the Mji's condition and help bring stability to this race. Such a gesture could only work to make a new friend in this region of space. I only hope the Mji do not attempt another show of force. Having better understanding of their weapons, I am afraid such a confrontation will instead secure the Federation a new enemy. End recording."
  6. Hey there! Welcome to the mental institution...oh wait did I say that? I didn't really mean it...eh...wait, here come one of the guards...

  8. What's that saying? Be careful what you wish for...you might just get it.
  9. Personally I like white...but I'm certain other colors will work good as well. What about red? What about purple? Let's not forget green...
  10. Shy? Shy? Well, we'll just have to take care of that...someone get on the loud speaker and introduce her to everyone. :(
  11. Hey there, I'd say to be sure that you update your profile so that your text appears in white. Hopefully all will do this so we'll all be able to read.
  12. Did you notice how he used the word should? Makes you wonder, doesn't it.... ???
  13. STARFLEET PRIORITY ONE COMMUNIQUE TO: Fleet Admiral Peter Jones Commanding Officer, Sector 187-A Ops FROM: Captain Frederic Meve Commanding Officer, Sky Harbor Aegis ================================================ Admiral; In response to your communique transmitted yesterday, I agree the findings should be confirmed. However, let's remember much of the Cardassian technology was rebuilt under Federation supervision. I'm afraid it's reliability may not be the thing that saves us. If the Cardassian Science Ministry's information is correct, we will have less than four weeks to organize this operation. The evacuation of over four hundred million people will take some time and I think we need to begin immediately. To that end, I highly recommend submitting an emergency proposal to the Federation Council requesting assistance from all member worlds. We have enough time to get enough ships here. If news Cardassia's planetary core is on the verge of meltdown breaks to the general public and we do not have a plan already in place, the Bull Festival on Andora will seem tame in comparison to what will happen. In addition, I agree with your assessment about the viability of the solution presented by the Cardassian Science Ministry. They themselves will say it is a long shot. However, at this stage we have no alternative. Perhaps a search should also be considered for a new homeworld. Signed, Fred Frederic Meve Sky Harbor Aegis Commanding.

Reaent, NCC-3345-G Re: Debbie Matthews -------------------------------------------------------------- This communique is to serve as notice that effective Stardate 0211.14, Lieutenant Junior Grade Debbie Matthews has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. This decision comes after extended review of her service and dedication to the U.S.S. Reaent. It is a pleasure to have such a capable officer aboard and I sincerely hope we will value from her assistance in the future.

  18. PRIORITY ONE SUBSPACE COMMUNICATION STARFLEET COMMAND - BETA QUADRANT ***AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY*** To: U.S.S. Reaent, NCC-3345-G Captain Fred Michaels Commanding -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Captain Michaels; Upon reviewing your latest reports and utilizing the full services of the Starfleet Intelligence community, we have confirmed a change in government on the Mji Homeworld. At this time, information is not as reliable as we would like. However, it appears the sickness effecting the Mji has shown signs of spreading amongst their population. This was previously thought to be impossible. Apparently, the spreading of this virus has caused mass panic amongst the general population. Given what many saw as a lack of action by the Mji government, the military terminated all support and led a civilian initiated cue. The nature of this change in power is still not known, nor is it even known who is actually in charge of the government. However, it appears at least 80% of their military has remained unified and organized. Though the Mji are not a large power, they were one of the primary governments the Romulans traded with before they pulled out of this sector of space. Last reports indicated a small fleet of perhaps twenty ships protecting four starsystems. Their technological level is not the highest, but they are a proud people. It had been hoped your mission would forge the beginnings of solid diplomatic relations with these people. At this moment, we believe the three vessels you have encountered at Freedom Station are acting with the permission of what might be the Mji provisional government. What has surprised our intelligence experts is the reaction of the Poy. We do not know much about this planet or it's people. The Romulans have said they seemed to hold the opinion their alliance with the Mji was the first step in an attempt to conquer their world. One can only imagine what made them come to this conclusion since the Romulans aren't giving too many specifics. You are ordered to proceed with extreme caution. All of the facts about this situation seem to be clouded by decades of distrust. The fact the Poy were even willing to assist the Mji was seen as a major diplomatic breakthrough. See what can be done to stabilize the situation and allow this to still take place.
  19. Hey there, Four vessels were involved in the games against the Enterprise. This were: U.S.S. Excalibur, NCC-1664 U.S.S. Hood, NCC-1703 U.S.S. Lexington, NCC-1709 U.S.S. Potemkin, NCC-1657 Of the four ships, the U.S.S. Excalibur was critically damaged and the U.S.S. Lexington (commanded by Commodore Robert Wesley) was also moderately damaged. According to the episode, neither the Hood nor Potemkin were damaged before the M-5 was taken offline.
  20. Hey there, Yeah...I just saw an advertisement for it. Any idea what type of "extras" are going to be included?
  21. Current Mission Summary U.S.S. Reaent, NCC-3345-G Stardate 0210.31 U.S.S. Reaent is currently at Freedom Station, an independent facility operated by Manager Grep. The Poy government has agreed to trade a rare medicine to the Mji Alliance in exchange for some new atmospheric sensors/controllers. The medication is currently stored on Freedom Station and has been checked by the ship's crew. In addition, the Ambassador sent by the Poy to complete the trade talks is currently aboard the Reaent. At present, three Mji warships have arrived demanding the medicine without a trade. It seems the illness has spread to the point a faction/group overthrew the Mji government...who are now calling themselves the "Mji Empire," amongst other unconfirmed names. One light cruiser and two destroyer styled vessels make up the Mji formation.
  22. You know what...I don't have to take this type of abuse! Really I don't! It's right here in my contract...saying I can find it....hum... Atragon, where's that contract...and don't tell me you accidentially shipped it to the south pole again :)
  23. But...we are all strange situations, aren't we? ::looks at the memo he got early last week:: ???
  24. Pssttt.... anyone..... who's Mr. T?? ??? Old....I suddenly feel old.... (If you can believe it, Mr. T. was actually my first "hero" as a kid. LOL) ::):
  25. No, no...here's the best exchange ever. Q: "Q the innocent, Q the desperate, what must I do to convince you people?!" Worf: "Die."
