  1. Jadzia...hands down. ;)
  2. I voted for Berman and Braga, but in my opinion the Borg, pre Voyager which ruined them and Pre Queen which was just sort of strange were the best villian in Trek History. They aren't really a species or race...but a single collective creature bent on plowing under everything that exists in persuit of its own goals. Without emotion or conscience to guide them, they don't care what you've achieved unless it enhances them, they don't care what your philosophy of life is, their only drive is to pursue that which will enhance the whole. Focused, driven relentless and completely useless to even try to reason with them because you are inferior and you will be assimilated. The others were amatures, the borg are darkness.
  3. Being superman becomes boring when no one will play with you.
  4. you have to be pretty twisted to ask people about their bumps on a public message board. Honestly. There are children present. Hmph. Seriously though... I chose my race because I could, I had the freedom to design my character and species around that character. It isn't for everyone to do what I did, and if I were to go back and advise myself five..six years ago I would have called myself an insolent snert, told the younger me off and fully advised him not to even consider creating such a race. I've grown though and so has my species and character, changing with my exprience, learning limits. Limitations are what make characters interesting, nobody wants to play with superman because it defeats the purpose of playing at all.
  5. I'm glad he said it and not me
  6. gonna have to come up with something more frightening than that, or an off topic topic thread.
  7. Contrary to popular belief, in matters of relaxation and entertainment, off topic is a good thing. I encourage all of you here and now to be as off topic as possible, when ever possible for the rest of your natural lives.
  8. I prefer to think of it as bing vocal about a different view point. Not doing dumb stuff ; ) The trick is learning when to keep your mouth shut, and when to open it wide and insert foot, or oponents behind, whichever you prefer. I was never attracted to Seven of Nine, the "Actress" who played her or the cat suit.
  9. There was a time..when Romulans had Honor. There was also a time when Klingons were threatening, fearsome and dangerous alone or in a group. : )
  10. DS9 Marathon on Spike April 5, at noon. :P Voyager on the other hand...was crap..all seven seasons pretty much. The writers never quite understood that when you're churning out crap and want to stop churning out crap, you need to change what you're doing and do something different..not just churn out more crap in a skin tight silver cat suit. I would have tuned in for a Janeway death scene.
  11. I didn't attend the STSF bash last year, but I was in vegas about two days after everyone left. I loved the Experience ride because it was so fun to go through time and time again and see the new actors..and the old actors in new roles. and as my good friend learned..."Touching those buttons won't get you home any faster miss."
  12. Meh

Without Evil, Tovan, good would just be mushy oatmeal. The light always shines brighter in the darkness.
  13. But only when its perscription.
  14. Meh

well this seems like a valuable lesson...do not ressurect two year old message board threads.
  15. Meh

well Fred... it looks like I joined STSF when the Excalibur moved..who knew. Then I quit for three months and now I've returned. Oh the joys of looking up old messages. If you felt a lurking dread ^_^ when you saw my posts, now you know why.
  16. I've met evil, this N'Dak person isn't it. ^.^ Evil-Lite maybe.
  17. Youth and skill plus a baseball bat on the other hand (or a general lack of conscience), tend to overmatch age and treachery combined.
  18. Considering they interviewed me and I signed the form giving permission, I'd have to say yes.
  19. Trekkies II has been in post production for a few months now according to the announcment ont he website it wrapped filming in august or september.
  20. OBrien was a Cheif Petty Officer, the only time his rank was ever definitely mentioned anyway. Besides that OBrien is now teaching engineering at the Academy. If Paris ever made it to Lt Cmdr he may indeed be serving as a helmsman but probably holds a second officers position as well. Nog was promoted to Lieutenant J.G towards the end of the series. And as far as Picard being Acting Co of the Titan, never happen ; ) 1.) he'd have to be promoted above captain to do that, 2.) hes got the Enterprise or a new assignment 3.) I don't ever want to see Riker play second fiddle to picard again, hes finally left the nest, let the boy grow up for gods sakes. As far as Janeway...Candidiate for god-moder of the millennium, I never want to see her again and if she winds up in a movie I'll boycott. Edit: Of course I'm horribly late making this post..and I didn't see that the thread was five pages long before I made it. So perhaps the corrections I made were already pointed out.
