  1. Whilst boldly going where no man has gone before, Spock is put on trial when the Enterprise encounters an apparent duplicate of Abraham Linclon which is, in fact, a shape-changer as well as a godlike computer which pisses them about for fun and hijacks the Enterprise. But their opponent turns out to be just a kid and vulnerable to gibberish and dies, which means everything turns out okay, give or take a few personal tragedies. Then, finally, Kirk says something smug and they leave at warp factor. I felt almost obligated to give this a try. Seemed like fun, and just reading through the options was a considerably entertaining way to pass the time.
  2. Hello everybody. I'm the new guy... Or rather, more accurately, I'm *another* new guy. I've been looking around for a while and decided I like the idea behind this place. In the process, I've come up with a few questions I couldn't answer all by myself. Therefore, in addition to the primary function of this post - that being a self-introduction - I have come bearing questions. Primary Function: Hi! I'm Geoffery H. Luxembourg, but you can call me Geoff. This, of course, is the name of the character I'd like to play in the sims, hopefully the academy sim listed for tonight at 9:00 PST (Which should be midnight EST, if I'm translating correctly?). I look forward to meeting you all and playing on the boards. Secondary Function: So, I was trying to familiarize myself with your chat room program today when I discovered that without a password, I couldn't get in. Upon attempting to use my name and password for this site to get in, I was met with failure. How do I get myself set up for logging in to the sims? Tertiary Function: As I understand it, all I've got to do is show up for the sim at the scheduled time in order to be put into action. However, looking around the forums, I've noticed several pages with crew manifests and biographies. Should I have one of my own prepared in advance, or should I not be concerned about that until graduation from the Academy sim? That is all for now! -G-Lux
