About Me

I love to gaze at stars and learn about the universe around us. It's funny how Earth can be so large and yet so small at the same time! It's also funny how some of the most beautiful things can be the most deadly. For example, supernova remnants like in the Crab Nebula are beautiful to look at, but the supernova was deadly. I also love algebra, because it's universal. No matter where you are in the world, algebra remains the same even if the local language doesn't.

My Roleplay Character:

T'Rasei is 3/4 vulcan and 1/4 human (mother was half vulcan and father was full vulcan). She didn't like the fact that 1/4 of her was Human as a kid, and had trouble making friends because others didn't like it either. She was fascinated by the stuff that doctors did, and loved reading about anatomy and the different tools in starship sickbays.

Her father was the Professor of Biology at the Vulcan Science Academy. When he died when she was 10 Earth years old, she went to travel around with her mother on a starship. Her mother was a science officer. The ship came to pick her up when her mom got the news, it's lucky that they happened to be close by.

She lived on the ship with her mom and one day when she was 10, she found her way to the sickbay. She was curious because she had been reading about them since she was little and she wanted to see one. A doctor saw her and asked her why she was there. She told the doctor that she was curious because she wanted to be a

doctor when she grew up. So she got to see some stuff being done and she asked a lot of questions.

While she was on the ship with her mom, she also learned to like the Human part of her. Her mom had chosen to honor both the Human half and Vulcan half of herself, and she told T'Rasei that even though she had chosen

the Vulcan way, being 1/4 Human made her unique and special. She also made a friend her age on the ship, a Betazoid named Sarah. While it could be annoying at times for a Vulcan to have a Betazoid around who constantly sensed her emotions, Sarah was the first real friend she had ever had. And she accepted her for who she was.

When the ship returned to Earth at the end of it's present mission, she was 12 years old. She had studied logic and other things that Vulcan teenagers learn while she was on the ship. She had also learned a lot from the doctors in sickbay and they thought she was a little prodigy. Because she was so smart, she was accepted to Starfleet academy at the age of 13 and graduated at 17. She kept in touch with Sarah the whole time.
