  1. Imagine smoking in a car... "Oops! A ceiling there..." "Oops! A passing car..." "Hey a bump..." Only a dumbass could do something that dumb. Point proven. :D I must say, you must have been really bored Van Roy.
  2. I just spent a long time reading every one of these... and I realize that, surprisingly enough, most of these I have thought about at one time or another. Sad.
  3. They can interact, but seldom do. I have only participated in one sim in the past two years or so when my sim interacted with another sim directly.
  4. Home now. ^_^ Thanks a bunch, all of you!
  5. Saw it, and loved it. It definately ranks right behind Empire Strikes Back, as tempations become too stong to say no to. It was, by far, the best of the three Star Wars movies. I'll have to go back and make sure, but it looked as though Senator Organa (who would inevitably be king later, as his adopted daughter - Leia - would become princess) had a lightsaber in one of the scenes. As lightsabers were reserved for those who could harness the power of the force, I didn't understand why he had one; all Jedi except Yoda and Kenobi had to have died in the movie or die within the next twenty years. And yes, there were two scenes that bothered me: the one with Windu, and the one with the Younglings. I have to agree with some of you, though, that I felt Anikan's switch to the dark side seemed to have happened very quickly. I do feel that the movie summed up loose ends much better than I anticipated. I figured I'd leave the theater thinking about multiple "unknowns" that still existed after this episode.
  6. Loami, I LOVE The Red/Green Show! It comes on KET here in Kentucky... hehe! What a great show! Anywho, yes, I am a nerd. Fine by me. ;)
  7. I haven't had a soft drink in over 5 years... so I suppose neither. Me and my stupid ideas to be healthy. LOL. I love water, though!
  8. Java is about the only thing that can present realtime chat without a refresh (refresh happens within the applet). PHP chat scripts (or most Flash chat scripts, for that matter) all require a refresh rate... making the chat a couple of seconds off real-time and you get those annoying clicks every refresh on IE (which there is a patch for somewhere). [[ Use Firefox. hehehe. ]]
  9. Yup. Happy birthday, folks.
  10. Haha... Taj Roka. Before my time, yes, but oh, how I have heard so much about him. hahaha. I do remember the Amazing_Wall_Of_Nude... what a butt (pun intended)! Heh. The memories of horrible simming moments. ::sigh::
  11. It took me several sims to graduate... somewhere in the high teens, if I remember correctly. I didn't keep count, so I really don't know for sure. I ended up on a station that keeps getting in the way of everything... ::sigh:: We even moved the station, and we're still in the way! Gaaahhh...
  12. Hmm... could have sworn it was a funny-looking ship codename for the X-303...
  13. Eh... click my profile.
  14. Well, I currently play one male and one female character. On Aegis, I play a male. On Manticore, I play a female. In real life, I am male. For some reason, I figured playing a female would be interesting. And, it truly has been interesting! It is still kinda odd, but its all pretend anyway. Honestly, I once read where Moose had been a female on a sim he was on one time, and I thought, "Hey - what an interesting idea." So, that's why I've got a female character.
  15. Ok, I didn't do anything for Valentine's Day (overall, I never really liked it), but here goes my story of what one of my best friends did Monday. Two of my best friends went out about 4:30pm to Wal-Mart, and 5 other stores (and finally a restaurant) in search of a lot of white bags. They also picked up 100 candles from Wal-Mart. A few hours later, they had taken over the 11th hole of the local golf course (which lies on a hillside), and wrote "I {heart} you" in gigantic letters with the white bags, and use the 100 candles to light up the hillside. It was one of the most remarkable love stories I'd heard in a long time. The golf course never knew they were there. :P
  16. Anyone notice this at http://www.stsf.net (the homepage we all skip)? :P Oh, what could it be?!?!
  17. Hmm... I say Patriot's! ::gets memo:: D'oh! Oh well. I wanted them to win. They won. Woohoo!
  18. Heh... that was right around the time I joined STSF. Neat!
  19. Nope. I never put any of my ranks in any of my characters when registering on the board. It adds excess usernames that aren't needed, and everyone already knows who you are. :P Put ranks, etc., in your signature, and just live with your name not containing a rank. That is the best way; that's what the signature is for. I use this screen name (HyperDrive) for everything except posting logs for other characters. I even use this one to post logs for my Aegis character.
  20. I don't trust B&B to run Star Trek like it should be ran, so if they are the ones that must run it... I'd rather just not have the Star Trek series on television.
  21. Oh, good. Paramount can get their money's worth by now being able to run Enterprise in syndication. Good for them. (sarcasm) It doesn't really bother me too bad; I never watch the series.
  22. Heh heh... Admiral Garnoopy... heh. As much as I hate seeing old topics revived like this, I can't help but laugh every time I see "Admiral Garnoopy."
  23. Happy birthday, Huff. :D
  24. I enjoyed it greatly! :D I can't wait for more.
  25. I've gone back to look at chat logs a few times, but not too often. One of the reasons I like them is for when I miss a sim. When I miss, I usually do go back over the chat log sent out, so that I know what happened and what is going on.
