  1. Ug... I can't find that "( Admin CP )" or "( ModCP)"! What am I doing wrong! :D Gees... people are going to think I'm stupid for this post..... HD
  2. Boring us? Naw.... :o But, to answer your question, the time differential from Yugoslavia to the East Coast of the USA (the time zone the sims are put in), there is a 6-hour difference in the time zones. I.E. When it is 12:00AM (midnight) in the USA (ET), then it is 6:00AM in Yugoslavia. ::thinks to self "I hope that is right":: :D HD
  3. I am all for that. I would love to have, at the most, 3 catogories on the first page of the forums. And then, have more pages after that spreading about the topics and discussions farther apart from one another. I have noticed that it is starting to get more and more cramped in here.. Also, is there any way to just make the "New Post" icons plain and simple? Such as, only have a "NEW" beside all of the topics with new replys, and a "NO NEW" beside topics that don't have any new replys in them? All of this "Hot Topic", and icons of that nature don't mean anything to me. I just read them anyway. :o Thanks, Webmaster. HD
  4. Gees.... I sure didn't mean for the log (especially for a supplemental log) to be that long... oh well! :o Cheers! HD =/\= BEGIN SUPPLEMENTAL LOG=/\= I didn't get much sleep, mainly because of my recent bad luck. First, an Ensign woke me up, by accidentally ringing the wrong doorbell. He decided to tell me the entire story of where he was going, and I thought that I was going to have to pick him up and take him out of my quarters all by myself. But, after what seemed to be his entire life story, he left, and went on down to the next door, and I heard yelling from a young lady, about him always being late. "I wonder why....", I thought to myself. Sleep was what I wanted, but sleep was not what I got. I couldn't sleep on my own, and that the replicator in my quarters wasn't running very well, because I asked for warm milk, and ended up recieving a glass of wine. That was not something that I was particularly in the mood for, and I gave up on the replicator. I thought to myself, "I am off duty. I should have someone from onboard Starbase 405 come up here and fix this thing", but then again, I knew how annoying house calls were from my days at the Utopia Shipyards, running back and forth fixing every little thing that the Admirals wanted done. I thought back, and remembered the strangest call I could think of. I remembered fixing a hair drying device for an older Admiral, Johnson I believe, and fixed it. This was, however, before I realized that he was bald, and he used the hairdryer for things that he spills on the carpet. I also assumed that was why his carpet was so dirty all of the time. Yes, looking back at my Academy days really makes be think about how good I have it now. Perhaps sleep will have to come later. For now, I am going to head up to the lounge. Perhaps I can get the replicator to work up there. My, my... being off duty is making me lazy. Here soon, I am going to have to go back to work..... While enroute to the Turbolift, I thought of a quote. "Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it." I suppose that I have to remember how it was back on Mars, and remember how good it is with my Aegis family. Yes, I will have to get to know them all soon. They all seem, how do I put this nicely...., quite interesting. We will see. =/\=END SUPPLEMENTAL LOG=/\= -- Ensign Hewitt Demore Assistant Engineer Sky Harbor Aegis
  5. ::wonders what is going to happen with Dac having a Full-Time position:: Well, well. This is going to be quite exciting. Although, dieing is what brings Acedemy go-ers back again.... just to see if they can beat the odds (and the GM), which by the way, is theoretically impossible. :o ::burns Dac's shoe catalog:: So, while I hold this magazine over an open flame, I wish you all good luck, and to tell Voran that Academy funds are also fake - Holodeck money. You use that during Academy sims. This is why we can afford about 2 new Academy ships every week, and for some reason still not be able to 1) Pay off Fred's Credit Card bill, and 2) Save Aegis. Also, just to serve as a FACT..... ::looks over at GromVik and nods:: Engineering, by far, has the most control. We can even turn off your shoe shiner, Dac! :D HD
  6. Yes... well remember, that the ship wasn't destroyed :o That was the sim that Dac decided to destroy the planet that the Away Team was on..... killed me, too. I saw multiple lights, and they headed right toward me. Then they hit me, and the sim ended (as Dac and the rest of the officers lived to tell the tale) :D So, technically trum, it wasn't your fault :) But I think everyone else knows who to blame it on..... yes, that's right. Garnoop, ah, I mean, well, the new Captain. :) Just kidding, Dac..... HD P.S. I absolutely LOVE those new shoes! ::spills grape juice on them:: Uh, oops....
  7. Well, folks.... we finally hit over 100 Members! And actually, we have 101, meaning everyone needs to look out for a person walking around looking to steal some coats! (Thanks to Garnoopy for that stupid little saying.) Anyway, good job everyone! ::looks around, and sees A9 in an expensive coat:: Yes, I believe that is the person causing all of this...... HD
  8. A car that can take control, Vanroy? ::laughs:: What if they form an alliance against the people! Then the computer can lock your doors, and run into the ocean (before ejecting the computer mainframe from the car). Curious, Vanroy.... are you trying to control the word. :o ::laughs some more:: hahaha, I make my self crack up over here. I am just so, ::studders:: so, so...... funny. HD
  9. ::frowns and looks at the rest of the GM Council:: She has discovered the secret of Operation STSF. She must be elminated...immediately. So that's why he ran to Mexico..... ::staring at his WANTED picture of Fred that I downloaded:: Hum..... I think that Fred is trying to make everyone in the world a member of STSF! And then someone else is going to take the credit, I mean wisdom, (since Fred has no credit)! HD
  10. ahhhh..... I don't know, Sovak. When Fred shows up and blows the warp core, it can get downright BOILING hot! :D HD
  11. Didn't we try that once, Garnoopy? If I am not mistaking, matter and antimatter is the first thing duct tape ever came across that it couldn't hold. :o Believe me, it wasn't a pretty sight! :D HD
  12. Seem to be, Vanroy, but not as bad. :o It looks like to me that Peoplelink took their servers offline, and to a "barely working" status for a month to fix a problem that ended up not being fixed.... HD
  13. Can you not just put it on the first page of the message boards? Does it really have to be everywhere? HD
  14. Yea.... blew my screen out when I saw a picture of A9. ::ducks:: His head reflected too much light... my monitor couldn't handle it :) ::runs like crazy:: ::thinks about the awful flogging I'm gonna get for this post :) :: HD
  15. Actually, it seems that, for the most part, the Holodeck chat room is working just like it's old self... with the "ghosts" that they spent an entire month to get rid of, still being there. :o I believe that there is only one ghost now, versus about 7 or 8 we always did have; ens_loami . :D HD
  16. ::looks at Fred, and says sarcastically:: Sssurrrrreeeee you are, Fred. :o HD
  17. =/\=BEGIN LOG=/\= As I walked off of Pandora's Box, I finally met the Captain. Although he didn't talk much, Meve did seem to be nice. However, I could not stop staring at him. His blue aurora was indeed intriguing, but at the same time, a bit scary. He is the first, and only, Andorian that I have ever met. I had heard that they are not always the most understanding species to talk to, but it was obvious that Meve had spent much time with the human race, and seemed not to bother him at all. Aboard Pandora's Box, I saw Starbase 405. It was amazing. There were so many people aboard Sky Harbor who, at one time, served aboard Starbase 405. It was times like these that I wish that I had my lost telepathic powers. How I would love to sense what everyone on board was dreaming about. Overhearing Drankum talk of Starbase 405 intrigued me. I don't know what is going to happen to me, whether I get shipped off to another station, or even a ship, but it would be, I believe, very nice to stay on Starbase Aegis, as Starbase 405 was called several years below, just to hear of the stories. History may be repeating itself, but for some, I believe that they would rather history stay where it is; in the past. As for now, I recieved very little sleep on board Pandora's Box. I have decided to look around Starbase 405 later. For now, however, I have decided to get some much needed rest........ =/\=END LOG=/\=
  18. All ye are wimps. I'm sitting up here in Illinois and I'm looking at a thermometer right now, and it is currently 10 degrees, without windchill factored in. Ah... Garn, Kentucky isn't much warmer. :o I have been off from school Thursday & Friday because of snow.... thank goodness that our school system lets school off before it even starts snowing.:D If there is snow in the forcast, you can go ahead and turn off the alarm clock! (Goodness I love public schools...) HD
  19. If you use Internet Explorer 5x or above, I am fairly certain that the Java Virtual Machine comes with your computer. Try to get into the Startrek.com Community Holodeck, and if it lets you in, then you don't have anything to download. If it doesn't, then go to http://java.sun.com/getjava/installer.html , and sit there for a little while, hitting "Yes" to several questions pop-ups that occur. After a while, either (A) The Java website will get tired of asking you questions and let you have the Java Virtual Machine, or (:o It'll run out of questions and give it too you. Really, it is just clarifying that you agree to download the JVM files, so don't sweat about it if those Permission to Download pop-ups come up on that website.... just make sure that if they come up on other websites, you read the info on them, and make sure that they come from a reliable source. (The best way of doing this is checking Certificates). Anyway, Good luck! HD
  20. =/\= Computer, begin recording Log =/\= It was downright sad. Leaving Aegis for the last time sent chills down my spine. For some reason, I was feeling guilty. I don't know what I am feeling guilty for, but I know that I am. I know that there was nothing that I could do, but that doesn't help things. Maybe it's just that Aegis was my home... not for long, but it was my home. I mean, I had not yet completed unpacking before I had to get up an leave again. But, I must press on. Dutys in Engineering helped keep my mind off of Cardassia and Aegis a little bit, but it still didn't completely help. I must say, Meve and Ayers acomplished something with the help of all of the crew of Aegis that even Starfleet didn't think was possible. In fact, I was surprised myself. It was an amazing feat of action. As we were leaving Aegis, I was reminded of a 20th Century Television movie that I pulled up one time, just because of the name resemblence. I can't quite remember the name, but Aegis-1, which was the name of an at-sea oil drill, had many problems; problems that cost lives. Fortunately, this 24th Century fiasco didn't cost lives, for what we can tell. And, the job was done supurbly. Poor GromVik.... he had been on Aegis for so long. But, he didn't seem to be incredibally sad. But, I would say that he is working quite a bit more than I am. It is difficult for all of us. But, I know that I, and the rest of us, must press on in life. A salute to Sky Harbor..... =/\= Computer, End Recording Log =/\= -- Ensign Hewitt Demore Assistant Engineer Sky Harbor Aegis
  21. Folks, we have just given ourselves a new record for the number of users online at the same time on this message board! It has been at 7 users since October, I believe, and now we have logged 8 users tonight! Great job, folks, and a hope to hit 9 users on at the same time REAL SOON! HD Good job to Everyone who made this message a reality. ;)
  22. This is off-subject from this string, but I am curious.... How did Dac quote A9, even though A9 has not posted in this thread? Just wondering. :o ::Thinks about A9 having a post deleted:: Nawww.....?!?! HD
  23. What is the molecular construction of an atom that would have the force in a nuclear explosion powerful enough to send a ship into warp speed without a warp drive? HD (just kidding:))
  24. hehe - No problem, Webmaster. It is one of those few questions that I can actually answer..... :) HD
  25. Well, if Fred won't do that (party pooper ;)), take some pictures for me! HD
