  1. ::looks at Garnoopy, waving hands wildly:: I did! I did! I did! HD
  2. LoAmi? You look so much, ah, older! ::sees picture of old, fat guy:: Humf. Oh well; Happy Birthday Mr. LoAmi! HD
  3. ::walks outside quarters, holding nose:: Yes, yes. The port-o-potties are right here, beside my quarters. ::hates being the new human on the station:: HD
  4. How about: " Hyper-Multipersonality Divisive Nature " HD
  5. ::takes keys, goes to Space-Mart (aka Wal-Mart), and makes copy of keys:: Yes! Ah, can I have a ONE TIME USE only key to the Executive Washroom, too? HD
  6. ::looks at Vanroy's results, laughing:: hehehe, Vanroy got the goddess ranking. ;) HD
  7. ::decides to redeem himself, and may help survive a Wednesday academy:: Dac, you are the cutest and greatest nerd out there! ;) HD
  8. Now I don't know about a chocolate substitute, but message boards are a very entertaining thing. Forums help people understand one another, and helps them give information out that they want to share (and also helps take away from a lot of excess OOC chatter in the sims ::looks at Fred and Ridire:: Sorry, guys. ;)) Of course, even then, there is some OOC chatter (that for some reason, I get in trouble for. Anyone got a guess as to why? hehehe - I am such a riot....). So, message boards help get a point across. They help a group of peopel become more like "family" versus just seeing each other once a week. They help us share ideas, facinations, and just random subjects. They get in depth with the users, with polls, questions, and curiousities. You see, with message boards, you get views from people all around the world. And, when you post in a topic, you always want to know what others think about it, so that keeps you coming back, and reading what everyone has to say. Anyways, this post is surely worth .03 cents. (sheesh, I'm gonna get a bill from the webmaster here soon... these posts are killing my coin jar!) HD
  9. ::looks at Lightning:: I thought you were Lightning?!?! ::looks around for memo:: Okay, I know that I didn't get a memo about this! In realistic terms, that thing said I was: I am: Captain Jean-Luc Picard Ug - I thought that I was HD. This thing lies to me! ;) HD
  10. It's about time I was "right on the money". Just for that, I am going to make this post worth my full 2 cents! My extra money, equaling a Full 2 Cents. My 2 cents, HD
  11. Webby - not necessarily have the ranks indicate the number of posts; but rather, some how, have the users themselves select, and change, the ranks. Or even have the GMs move in, and update the players rank themselves, so that the players don't move themselves to a high rank to be "cool". The ranks would not be by the number of posts; it would be the ranking that they are, as officers in the Advanced sims, that would be displayed. Instead, it would only display the rank of the person in the Advanced Sims (or as a Cadet). Personally, I always thought that I'd like having the ranks displayed. The only problem that remains is the multi-sim folks, who are in two or more Advanced Sims in STSF. You'd probably have to take their highest rank in those to display. ;) Just my .29 cents. The rest could come later...... HD
  12. ::looks at Vanroy, and then back at the Memo:: I know! You'd think they would tell us first..... ::takes off Starfleet uniform, and takes commbadge off:: Ug.... Now I'm gonna have to return all of this stuff.... HD
  13. =/\= BEGIN LOG =/\= On our way back. We were maintaining distance, for some reason, from Cardassian Space. Of course, there are always rumors. the most prominant one going around the lower decks of Pandora's Box is that the Commander and Captain got into a fight. Unfortunately, I find that hard to believe. Surely Fred wouldn't start anything; must have been the other person in that fight; Muon. I can never trust those Ferengi. Oh well; we will find out in time. But, for now, I will have to avoid her. Personally, I have always been afraid of them. For now, I am nervous. Being stuck in the lower decks makes it to where all of the information gets to us last. Oh well. Some information I shouldn't hear about anyway. Oh well; good luck 'ye Aegis crewman. =/\= Computer, End Log =/\=
  14. As most of you know, the Holodeck "ghosts" still lerk around the chat room. So, as a service to our STSF Simmers, I decided to let you all know! ;) Also, at times everyone in the room does not show up on your "Online" side (right side) of the screen. I have had that problem a few times in the past few days. Anyone else having weird problems? Just wondering. And remember, just because they are on the "Ghost" list does not mean that they aren't ever online. Actually, the only way to completely tell if someone is online or a ghost is to PM them; you get an error when you hit the "Send" button. Also, if it is alright with the GMs (I thought I'd ask about something for once :)), then: Can we make a list of the "ghosts" commonly lurking around the Holodeck? Just my 1.5 cents. My other .5 cents will show up some other time. HD
  15. Are you wanting to host your own chat server? Or are you wanting to use someone elses server, and just link to a special chat room from your site? I have some good ones for both. ;) HD
  16. I got in fine last night; don't know whats going on with you. Actually, it sounds like a Java problem; you might want to check out java.sun.com , and see if Java still works on your computer. ;) My other .5 cents. HD
  17. Actually, I have been simming a least amount of time than majority of the people here. Yet, I can't remember the first time I walked into the Holodeck for a STSF sim. Actually, my memory is pretty bad. It says on my Bio that I graduated unter Kbear and Blurox..... I can't remember if I did or not. :D For some reason, I am thinking that I graduated on a Tuesday, instead of a Wednesday (or something like that). lol - If memory serves me right, I don't know anything! :)
  18. You think that's only reserved for Ensigns???? :D ::shakes head:: Surely you have not been in my department opf late. :) Uh-huh. :) HD
  19. ::Wonders how many doors there really are.:: You should be able spot Lightning's house; it is the only one with 30 doors leading into it. :D HD
  20. ::shrugs:: I am going to have to show up Wednesday, just to see that. ::sees A9 getting ideas:: Nice try, Atragon. :D HD
  21. :: raises eyebrows :: Dac and Atragon? I swear, the romances on STSF.net could be a soap opera... Definately, Garnoopy. :D HD
  22. Here, once again, is another of my brilliant logs. Happy reading! =/\= BEGIN LOG =/\= We were on our way back. I only got a few hours of sleep before we lost contact with... something. I can't remember. It really has been a long few weeks. But, anyway, we lost contact with one thing, but kept contact with another. Unfortunately, I can't explain it. We should have lost both of the contacts at the same time. But, whether Aegis is gone or not, we are on our way back to whatever is there now. I am expecting to find debris from who knows what, and more than likely several science vessels on their way a few days behind us. Obviously, no scientist would miss a chance such as this... to study a recently exploded planet! What an experiance that would be. But, for the time being, most of the Cardassia system is off-limits. But, we all know Captain Meve. I could have told you that we would go back quite soon, but I never expected it to be this soon. I suppose that we do need to know if there is a planet there or not...... we will see. In other news, I have enjoyed greatly my time off from "work". Of course, it was much needed. Majority of the Sky Harbor crew lost vast amounts of sleep over the past few weeks. I also saw Drankum.... he was talking about not being sad about all that was happening, but it was easy to tell otherwise. You could almost see the pain in his eyes as he gazed out the window at Starbase 405. It didn't matter now. There was no turning around. We were cruising at Warp 9 point something, which was faster that I wanted to go in a Norway class ship. They are science vessels; not speed demons. It was like comparing a 20th Century Mini-van to a Mustang. Science vessels were not made with speed in mind. But, technically where we were going was going to need a large science team to figure out what the heck is going on. I bid our science department good luck. As we approach the Cardassian space, I am led to wonder about the Ferengi. And I think for a moment, and think of a little quote I'd have to tell Drankum or Quark about. It was more like a non-answer question. "I wonder if Ferengi's know that, in the end, you can't take money with you?". I guess not. =/\= END LOG =/\= HD
  23. I'm sure all the pictures that involve Fred and two blondes will find a way to leak out ::D: Dac I suppose if Fred even gets a picture with 2 blondes... even then, I lay down my share of space dust that the two blondes will see to it that none of those pictures leak out. :) Ug... I'm not blonde, and I'm not a girl....... but I would burn pictures if I were them. :) But, it would be nice to have a picture of Fred, download to my computer, and draw devil horns and an eye patch, and maybe even a beard all over Fred. That would be fun :) No, no. That would be mean. (Not that we didn't do that to Fred's cardboard cutout when he missed an Aegis sim one night.... but, I don't think he has seen it yet. :)) HD
  24. Yea.... I know that I could have used it when I graduated. Face it, it is hard to ask the captain over a PM "what to do" in a certain situation. And the thing of it is, you don't always get a great answer back from anyone who is simming, mainly because they are simming. Perhaps, instead of using a member of the crew for this mentor program, you should have a GM volunteer, or even a long-time simmer, stop by on a new ensign's first sim, and be there solely for that new ensign. I know that that would be quite hard to do, mainly because we just don't have enough GMs. But, perhaps something like this could be used in the near future. ::hoping so, at least:: HD
  25. I was just joking around, Voran... but, for those who didn't know this, there's the information. :D Sorry for leading you on, Voran. :) HD
