If anyone in the Boston area want to throw down on writing and acting in something like this, I'd definitely be down on all levels.

My favorite was many years ago when a new Academy graduate wanted to join Manticore as a member of the Medical Department. The character presented was more fish than humanoid, it had not facial muscles to show expression (so much for bedside manner) and it had to spend large chunks of its time in some sort of pool/tank of water. I suggested that it wouldn't work well as a physician working in our (mostly dry) Sickbay - hmm, I wonder if he could survive in a pool of coffee (naah, the rest of the doctors wouldn't like their java smelly fishy). He took my suggestion as a personal attack on his character's people and decided not to join my sim, even when I offered the option of joining other departments or not using this sort of character. Looking back on it, I guess it was more like Abe Sapien from "Hellboy," but I still don't think he'd have made a good doctor.

I have returned, I simmed briefly on QoB and then I got deployed for real and now I'm back.

They should have it like WoW but it would be Star Fleet Universe. Then it pretty much rolls out like any other RPG but there's an actual character to look at. I'd play something like that definitely.

I have a lot of time on my hands now that I'm just going to school so with the hopes of joining The Comanche Creek I've devised TOS rank insignia sleeves for Marines.

I figured Marines would wear Green Uniform tops and have 1 stripe plus rank insignia for Officer and a thinner stripe resembling the Warrant bar.

So my laptop crapped the bed one day a long time ago and i haven't been able to go online at all to sim or do anything. I must have missed 3 or 4 months it seems. Anyways I am back, I'll go to the Academy Sims and see whether or not I have to re graduate.

Personal History:

Joker MorgaN's Birthplace was unknown. When he was a small child he was found by a Klingon Colonel by the name of MorgaT who named him MorgaN. Joker is just a nickname he received shortly after his Rite of Ascension due to his sick sense of humor. He grew up in Qo'noS with other Klingon children. Thankfully for his large size as a human it wasn't very difficult for him to fit in with the others. He successfully completed the Rite of Ascension at the age of 13. However, since he was not born Klingon he could not serve as an officer in the Klingon Defense Forces like his father. Due to the Khitomer Treaty and the Klingon Empire's newest ally Star Fleet, MorgaT urged MorgaN to join as a SF Officer, both to be with his fellow humans but also to gather information about Star Fleet and the Romulans. Due to his upbringing by his Legendary Honorable father, MorgaN murdered his CO and is wanted presumed dead by Star Fleet.

I know that the Guideline states that 3 or more sims on an Academy vessel is what is expected before moving on to advanced ship. However, I was wondering what is typically average?

Which Ships have Marines in their Roster? Also want to know if there are other Marines that Sim?

My name is Charlie "Joker" Morgan.

 

I am a new Cadet at Starfleet Academy. I plan on taking a Commission in the Starfleet Marine Corps. Historically I come from a long line of former Marine officers leading back as far as the Barbary Wars.

 

I plan on learning everything I can about Command, Ops, Security, and Medical in order to make me the best Marine Officer I can be. Thanks.

I really love Star Trek. I've simmed with other components in the past however, nobody has been as official as STSF. I have played a Marine in the past as an officer. Being a former Marine myself it's an easy thing to do. However I would like to play as an Enlistedman for either Star Fleet or SFMC (If Available). How would that work with the Academy Sims? Would I just report to a ship as an Ableman or a Private?

 

Any answers would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping to start tonight so time is of the essence.
