  1. Yeah, poor Scotty. Although there was a definite lack of yellow, so hopefully for his sake (and for the sake of the noses of everyone around him!) it was at a later stage.
  2. The new steed for the modern Knight Templar.
  3. I assumed the water was for, oh, plumbing purposes? When you're in space, you only have a certain amount of water, and it has to be processed so that when you take a drink, you can't tell how many kidneys it went through before it got to your mouth. That huge processing plant-type area makes perfect sense to me.
  4. Nah, the toilet bowl "cleaner" things. Which is what it was. But it could be worse... it could ALWAYS be worse.
  5. One does not CUDDLE the HATE MACHINE!!!
  6. Happy birthday, Sam!
  7. I wonder what my husband put in the bathroom. It doesn't smell BAD, it just smells like the air "freshener" that they use in public bathrooms. Not the thing I want in MY bathroom.
  8. ::waves to zremorca:: See you around the Academy! :)
  9. Hennaing one's hair is a messy process. It's also a pain in the neck, especially when the hair being hennaed is as long as mine is!
  10. Yeah, but again with the money issue. I found some parts of what I want on Ebay for cheap, and I'm... umm.... borrowing, yeah, borrowing the Goodwill idea. Or I will be at the end of the month.
  11. Oh wow, with the bigger picture it's easier to see (obviously); that is a shiny, shiny ship!
  12. EA Sports Active is the closest thing we'll get to a holographic personal trainer in my lifetime. I'm ok with that. ^_^ Besides, the machine doesn't react when I am distinctly unladylike toward it; I doubt a hologram would take that kind of abuse. :(
  13. I certainly don't have the money to buy a completed costume, so yeah, I'll be either making mine from scratch or modifying some bought things. :( DarkMonkey: that's cool! It's surprising the things you can get away with in videos. ^_^
  14. So I was just wondering if anyone else here does costuming, for cons or otherwise. I've dipped my toe in the oh-so-addicting waters and found that I love it. I'm collecting resources right now for at least a couple costumes... anyone else?
  15. I'm currently pondering how much it'll cost to import a coverall from the UK. Probably way more trouble than it's worth. Ah, costuming, to what lengths will you NOT make me go? :(
