About Me

I have always known I was meant for space exploration, but not in our family's "traditional" role. I grew up surrounded by engineers. In fact, it was my great grandfather, (give a few greats to that) Sergei Korolev, who created the technology that humanity has to thank for launching us into space.

What he got in return for his contributions ................a life of misery. He was jailed, tortured, forced to work out the details to space flight in a Soviet gulag during Stalin's reign of tyranny. He died in 1966 during a botched surgery. It took almost 30 years before he was finally recognized as the father of space exploration.

Our family has always honored him. Even my Uncle, Sergey Rozhenko, was named after him. He was ,also, a ship's engineer. It wasn't until my cousin, Alexander, came to live with my aunt and uncle, that I saw how I was gonna spend my career in Starfleet. He got to grow up on a starship. His dad, was chief of security then. Worf was the only one who wasn't made to be an engineer. He entered Starfleet Academy on his own terms. Maybe it was because he was adopted, but if someone in this family had the heart of a warrior, and was able to become a captain, why can't I?

I am young, brash, ambitious and confident. Some have called me arrogant, but those are people who don't know me. I would rather be at the helm of the ship, flying by the seat of my pants, then crawling around in a Jeffries tube, or listening to the pulse of a warp engine all day.

I built my first replicator by 3, and designed a quantum accelerator by 7. BUT what I am most proud of ,becoming a Grand Master Battlith Champion at the age of 16 , (Junior Class), and held the title for 3 years.

I am looking forward to my life in Starfleet, and all the new experiences and friends that come with it. But don't bother trying to flirt with me. My heart belongs to a Klingon!
