I think it's really a training drill and any moment now Earth will dial them up and say "Hahaha, nice joke aye? Well, you're good to go, come home now." Several of the "Ancient" corriders looked strangly Tau'ri. As for comparison, I can't help it. SG1 was good. I'd like to expect something else good.
