Well I voted for other because, oh this sounds like total brown nosing. My favorite captain if Fred. I'd personaly choose a captain who I actualy knew so there. But my favorite seris captain was sisko. Due to the fact that it was a station there were many reacuring characters, to many to name in fact (well i guess if you realy wanted to you could name them all) but that is the reason I like sisko so much. If you take janeway's situation, the aliens they ran into were on for what one, two episodes? (Not counting the Kazon and the Borg) so in the case of voyager, Janeway makes a bad first impression. What do they do? Not let them travel through their space? Atack them? Probally both. Either way most of the characters seen on voyager were seen for no more then two episodes. The actions take twards character in DS9 affect the plot for many episodes, even seasons latter.

Well im not quite a trek-kie or a trek-ker, but im more of the latter. While I enjoy the the trek life i would not go as far as to walk up to Kate Mulgrew and ask "Hey how was life in teh delta quaderant?" Thats just sick. Either way I like to combine the idielogy and the science of startrek into my life. And well I guess the only thing I've realy done that define's a Trek-kie is write a couple of novels and shortstories but then again, Im a semi professional writer and i dont think there isnt a scifi series that i havent done a story on. Oh and I do have a couple of voyager collectors plates, but man those things rule and im never taking them down. :)

Boy i picked other because while i got hooked watching TNG i've been a nerd all my life. TNG season one was aired 1987 and i was born in 1988. Ever since I was born I was a trekkie. My parents watched and because i was to young to protest, i watched it. I've never known a life with out startrek and im thankful every day for it. If there is a true trekkie here it's me. I've never had a day of my life go by with out something involving star trek. Wether it be watching the series, or being here on the boards or simming, or even writeing my novels and short stories. I am nerd. I am trekkie. Hear me roar!

“For the record”…Kroells’s logs. Travis inwardly sighed as he watched the holodeck door close. He watched her. She stood there blinking, either unable to say anything or not wanting too. Either way it broke his heart. It took all his physical and mental strength not to just lose it and collapse on the floor right there and then. He stared at the door, he wanted to say something to her, no he needed to say something to her. But then in the back of his mind his commbadge went off again, he needed to get to the shuttle bay. The shuttle was ready to go and he was just about the only one on the ship who completely understood what the logistics of the cable were. And so the conflict loomed. He could either disobey Commander Ridire and go back to the holodeck, back to Kansas. Or he could head to the shuttle bay, and do something that was never done before; to fly a modified shuttle in this manner would most likely be making history. The thought of saying it was a difficult decision disgusted Travis. The idea that he was not only made to choose, but also the fact that he couldn’t make a choice. The seconds burned like hours into his soul, he couldn’t stand here forever. And so the seconds, the hours sped by. And suddenly his heart gave up in defeat. His mind had won the battle and already it was forcing him to turn away, away from Kansas and head for a turbo lift. The lift door opened and closed and headed to the shuttle bay. In his moment of privacy Travis dropped to his knees and sighed. He’d have to pull one of his game faces for Ridire and the others on the shuttle, because deep down inside he knew this was a mistake, and for the record…the record was crap and Travis knew it. And now it was too late to change his mind. And so he got up, dusted off and prepared himself for what in his mind could be his longest away mission yet.

First of all i've been a LtJg longer then you and the ranking system goes by 1. rank 2. time in rank. Jesus Vanroy we had long discusion like this on the Reanet before you left! And secondly my pretend ship is a borg fussion cube (8 cubes fuzed together to make one masive cube) (if you've never heard of it it's one of the dog dog ships on armada 2) so lets top that vanroy :angry:

As im now sure that some of you have heard last night, thursday the chat rooms on st.com were down for some time forcing the reaent crew to sim in the stsf chat room. Now i know that the thought of an stsf chat room has never discussed, which is why i was suprised to find the room and later sim on it. Of course im sure the idea of an emergancy chat room like this was in teh works for some time incase things like this happen (Lest we for get about the issuses a while ago) but obviously we werent told and it kinda makes me wonder what else is cooking in the deeps of this website.

See im now regarded as a geek at school because i have class long debates about the logistics of the matrix. Im also regarded as a geek because i understand the stuff when both my girlfriend and friend next to me say "What's he talking about?" And im also a geek because i figured out what the screen's in the architects room were for, the reason he saves zion (that is if he does, im just guessing he does) and what morpheus's profacy was really about.

hey you gotta admit it'd be funny to see in real life.

one thing i could do....I'd paint ridire and garnoopy red and fire them out of the torpedo launchers to a near by vanroy who's always near by for no reason. ;)
