  1. O.o Anyways, I really wish I could have made the trip, but regardless of cash issues, I'm already taking a trip with a bunch of Senior down to San Antonio, which will be memorable. Even if we dont remember it.
  2. That is of course without divulging SPOILERS...
  3. Probably not. I'm not sure that prime time is ready for a sci fi show right now, and maybe not one of the calibur of BSG. When I watch it with other people, they get confused and say it sucks. Then I throw them out of my house. SG-1 was pretty good. As for Atlantis, I knew the ended since I cheated and read a bunch of spoilers. But I think they did it in a good way. The expedition really screwed up this time around ^_^ Not only did they give up the location of Earth, but the Wraith also got the retrovirus, and know the best place to plant it on the hives. We basically gave them a double whammy :P As for next season of SG-1, well I'm not going to say anything... :)
  4. All I can say, is that no half another of television captivated me more. It made me think a lot of Voyager from "Year of Hell". Just seeing the look on Lee summed up, espically when they do the close up of him on the bridge.
  5. Im often the one everyone waits on. I'm just waiting for Jack and Locke to get in a fight :D
  6. Well in that case, I obviously should be Rodney.
  7. My mom was actually taught that Columbus discovered America. You wonder why the American educational institution is in shambles until stuff like this :D
  8. Well now I feel stupad... Isn't weird how STD's have such cool names?
  9. Well, the question itself is flawed. By asking the student to prove the chair exists, the instructor has already acknowledged the chair as existing.
  10. Thats just because they had Orions :D
  11. Baseball never quite stuck with me. I think it was Vanroy who said "I dont see the point in a game where the objective is to run home" Or something to that extent :D
  12. TOS was never that bad for me, if only because I appreciate the vintage 60's SFX, and Shatner's overacting. I always loved most of TNG, only for the fact that I was way to young to see the early seasons, but by the time I got into it, I was when I was 5-6 during seasons five or six, and it was just the coolest thing around. I remember running through the house as fast as I could asking my dad if thats how fast impulse speed was :D I was never that big on DS9, mainly because after TNG ended, so did most of my trek watching. I never really got into it until the Dominion War started up. Voyager is around the same lines, I didn't really start watching until, or rather remembering episodes until the third season. Season 7 was sort of a disapointment to me, seeing as how some eppisodes were an attempt to close story lines, without letting us know if the ships making it back or not. Besides, Fred killed my love of Voyager long ago... I have to believe that I'm one of the few people who truely enjoyed ENT. Sure, they messed up some cannon, and some of the eppisodes were god awful, but then again, what trek hasn't done those very things in the past?
  13. Now that I come to think about it, I had a test a few months back in Brittish Litterature, and one of the questions was a opinion (hence free points) about Henry VIII. All the people in the class like to mess around with these, but I took the cake this time. "After reading the chapter, what was the thing that suprised you the most about Henry VIII?" "He never got an STD."
  14. I ususally set mine to scan at 6 am, that way it's done by the time I need to leave for school, or its good to go if I take a personal day :D
  15. Oy, I actually dug an old test I had on me out for this. I remember once in 9th Grade Science, there was a short answer question asking to explain how Electrons are transfered and such. Granted to say, I cant go into details about the story I went on to write, but the basis was Elly the Electron... *Censored* Yeah, I'm going to try to find some of my more appropriate stupid answers that I've given over the years.
  16. ::huffs:: Some people obviously just dont have what it takes.
  17. "You can just call me Lt. Colonel." :D
  18. Well, I got bored today, so I figured I’d go digging into the nether verse of STSF, and once and for all put away the claim of “This post has been down X number of times already”. So, here’s what I found of the original polls, who and when they were made B) Favorite First Officer: Sovak, September 30th, 2002 Favorite Ship Class: Fred M, December 6th, 2002 Favorite Star Trek Movie (TNG): Gromvik, December 20th, 2002 How Long Have You Been Simming?: Fred M, January 31st, 2003 Favorite Character (TNG): Mister Smith, February 4th, 2003 Most Annoying Character: Dumbass, February 18th, 2003 Favorite Character (Enterprise): Spencer Goad, February 19th, 2003 Star Trek Episode Rating Poll: Fred M, April 16th, 2003 The STSF Movie Poll: Travis Kroells, April 19th, 2003 The “Trekker or Trekkie” Poll: Travis Kroells, June 1st, 2003 Favorite Captain: Mojo, June 2nd, 2003 Favorite Trek Series: Powreal, June 3rd, 2003 The Poll on Polls: Zertz, August 23rd, 2003 Miscellaneous Facts: Moose won the “Brawl of the Captains” tournament over Huff by one vote Dac barely squeaked out Fred in the “Who would it look better in”. I’m pretty sure we all know what this refers to. While this is hardly whole list, I got lazy, and what not. I just figured this would be nice for some people to reminisce on the old days of STSF
  19. ::smirks::
  20. ::Smiles at Corizon:: Top Gear rocked like a boulder rolling down a mountain. Not to knock EA games, but I prefer some other compainies over them. I am also rather angry over them for buying the rights to the NFL, having been a player of the 2K series. ::Decides to completely avoid the subject of Ubisoft::
  21. ::Gives Will a lolipop of coolness:: Theres nothing like playing Shattered Skies with my tricked out F-22 B) And in regards to my loving Captain... I pictured you pulling over and trying to get out and explain why you were going so fast
  22. Well, for the sake of keeping this thread open, I'll discuss my racing game genre experience. I played NFS 2: Underground, and while it was an alright game, I just didn't enjoy it that much. I think my favorite racing game of late was the Rush series for N64. I still have my copies of the original, and 2049 which I play rather frequently. There were also a few racing games on the Genesis I used to play and enjoy, but I can hardly remember their names. Besides, I'm getting 24: The Game tomorrow, and for the love of all things Jack Bauer, Im only comming off that game to sim again B)
  23. Two words. The Picture.
  24. "While designing models for the newest Starfleet medical ship, over eager engineers took the concept of 'Using a Mellonballer' to a new extreme"
  25. Well, its true with most people. I cant say you cant change, but dont deny the fact that nearly everything we learn as a young'in, not just religious we learn from our parental units. If it helps any, I've shed my misconceptions and now follow Jack Bauer as the deity he is...
