  1. If they were anything near to the pricing for the individual series, I think I'd have to go down to Peru to sell a kidney to buy one...
  2. Well, I always would have liked to see the two sequels to the Stargate Trillogy that Roland Emmerich had envisioned.
  3. Well, I think the points been made, but I'll put my views in. GMs are required to be both 18 years of age, and hold the rank of LtCmdr on a ship for 6 months (may be a year, cant remember) Unfortunetly, there are no non Americans (speaking the continent) that fill that role. As its been stated, most GM's have a day life that overrides STSF. Until we have get some European GM's that can properly represent the forum at other times, the best that can probably be done are unofficial get-togethers.
  4. I was wondering where he was till I saw this thread... And here I was hoping for another Seiben like post ;)
  5. Well, I just skimmed through these replies, because...well I did. In first order of business, I've already horribly killed myself upon this news, and am communicating from beyond the grave. Secondly, I do have to agree with Doggy Boy. SG-1 has long been my favorite Sci-Fi series, but Ten Seasons is indeed a long time. However, this mid season announcement does annoy me alot. I'd have liked the series to go at least till 11, so that there can be a proper set up for the end of the series, and to set up Atlantis well on their own. Seeing as right now, I invision something like this: McKay> So...how's the SGC's fight against the Ori going? Sheppard> They're still fighting...I guess. Regardless of how SG-1 goes out, or what (or if) forms it continues in, I've taken it upon myself to celebrate the long runing series. Starting every sunday...or so, I'll be posting my favorite quotes from every eppisode from Season 2 on, (cause I never got season 1 on DVD). Well, I've typed for long enough.
  6. Every group has to have a poser... Pluto is now the Emo kid of the preppy planets. On a side note, I always loved to show up the other kids in science back in middle school when I'd name off pluto before neptune. They'd call me stupid. They got F's. Serves them.
  7. I honestly stopped counting after Uranus. The rest seem insignificant...
  8. Given the "trashy" look of modern mobile homes, a call goes out for the next great movible living area. Too bad it was answered.
  9. ::starts hording money::
  10. Eh, The Neb always seemed fat and bloated to me. Without the Galaxy stardrive, it just doesn't work for me :P
  11. ::Contemplates a world without Halo and KOTOR:: ... ::Suicide::
  12. Finally, a person who can legitly say their vehicle is a load of crap.
  13. Apparently. At the moment, my Computer, Xbox (Not the 360 thankfully :P) PS2, Sound System, and Car are all ganging up on me. I dont likes it. I guess I'm just waiting for Pliskin to hit 666 on the control padd.
  14. Unfortunetly, these ships never will bear the name Enterprise either. Being the flagship of the fleet...or a fleet deems a more large scale battleship type ship, akin with the Ambassador, Galaxy and Sovy classes. Personally, of all classes the Ambassador is my favorite. I see it as the perfect hybrid between the TOS Constitution and the TNG Galaxy. As for the ones on the polls, I've always have a soft spot for the Constellation, Obereth, and Miranda from the Early TNG/TOS Movie eras. Now that I think about it, I'm less of a fan of the newer ships then the old school ones. Although, I always did like the Akira, Prometheus, and Steamrunner classes respectively.
  15. As we speak, all technology is waging a holy war against me, and winning.
  16. I just dont understand it from a design point. How are you supposed to get anything done in them? You cant bend over!
  17. Original Krispy Kreme's are always good, although anything with Raspberry Jelly takes the cake. At my store, we also sell these nice little doughnuts with coconut creme filler, and chocolate, coconut, and carmel syrup ontop. So good... Although, everyonce and a while I splurge and get a Bear Claw too :P
  18. I would have to agree, Kahn was my favorite. I enjoyed TOS very much as well, just something about it works for me. However, I think that Trek needs to take a step back and reinvent itself. I enjoyed ENT, to a point, but I think it was played at the "First Humans in a harsh and bleek galaxy". While the premise of the show was fine, I think spirit of Trek was lost somewhere within. Personally, I dont know if we'll ever go back to that campy style of TOS, maybe its for the best, maybe its not. I think its fair to say Trek isn't the same without Rodenberry. Some of us can enjoy the changes, some not. I've lost some faith in the system, after the last two TNG movies, so I dont hold many hopes for this one either. All I can see is the ruination of two decent Trek characters.
  19. ::Headdesk::
  20. If I had a soul I think it would hurt...
  21. ::From the netherverse of Texas::
  22. Either way, I'm once again a topic of discussion. And I didn't even have to bash God or the Government. ::snicker::
  23. ::Wishes he'd have known that simply tieing her up in the corner have avoided all this "fun" between Jamie and Odile::
  24. A bad Texan accent, and an even worse Texan tan ::Doesn't even have to say anything:: :D
  25. I once went through a corn maze shaped like the Titanic. A local company does it every fall near my town.
