  1. Nuns are always up to something. Jesus'll do that to ya...
  2. Yeah, I drive an '85 Pontiac Persian, so driving aint happening. I should be good to finally go this year though, what with actually working full time now and such.
  3. Agnostica...I like it, hence forth it shall be my new holiday. Hopefully permenant liveage will come in the form of the only crappy apartment I can afford two towns over. During that time, I might be temporarily gone as I set up new internet if the neighbors there dont have internet I can "borrow" If anyone wants they can send me a six pack of Guiness as a house warming gift.
  4. "Back in Black" por favor
  5. I dont have any holiday wishes, seeing as how my lovely neighbors decided to set up a wireless network for their house, basically allowing me to steal their internet, and hence forth return while I search for permenant liveage.
  6. Well, I hate to be overly dramatic about such things, but I figured I'd spit it out and get to the point. I dont like my dad much. He doesn't like me. Unfortunetly, he owns the house and has decided to remove me from it. This will virtually cut me off from the internet, and hence forth, you guys as well. I don't know how long I'll be gone. Hell, I don't even know if I'll be able to come back. We'll see. I guess that if this is my last post, I owe some people some acknowledgements. ... Aw, screw it. You guys know who you are. Its been a blast guys. Hopefully I'll be back someday. And if not, at least know that you guys helped a really bored teenager though highschool
  7. Just contributing to society.
  8. ::puts down his soup to type:: I'm not even going to comment on my desk. All I'll say, is that many now believe that the computer has bonded with the organic objects on my desk, creating some sort an evil demon motherboard...or such.
  9. Hmm...you gotta love today's "unreturnable open media" policies. I recently bought dead rising for my 360. The game was ok, if only because of zombies, but it wasn't worth the sixty bucks. Long story short, I have to drive to Best Buy twice now, (wouldn't be such a hassle if the nearest one wasn't 30 miles away) at least I get to exploit another loop hole in the system though
  10. Not every hotel can be a five star children...
  11. ::would rather have his own Stargate::
  12. Oh please, your not a Cat. Your a Caitian. Its a four letter difference.
  13. Well that looks vaguely familiar... ::got his liberal fill in for the day::
  14. Beholdeth, our fearless leader. ::hides::
  15. Eh, I'm just going to get it for my 360. Along with Dead Rising which I just got. Its my training game for the Zombie Armageddon thats coming.
  16. My Hobbit wouldn't hit a Zombie. Zombies freak me out.
  17. No problem, I need to start my Sith Empire somewhere.
  18. Also Kansas, seeing as how I got you into KOTOR, I figure I'll give you away for it to teach you. Under your recent converstations menu, there should be a button (I'm thinking X) that allows you to toggle dialogue options. One of these options should be your battle script. KOTOR battle system is a direct copy of a D20 system, basically D&D. After every battle, and even during it you can rummage through every piece of information that tells you why Malak is tearing you a new one. I used it a lot as I got into D&D recently. It really helped me learn the dies, and other things needed for all your attacks, saving throws, criticals and whatnot.
  19. Mmm, for being the geek I am, I just recently got into D&D this summer with some friends. We also have tons of D20's and D6's for when we play magic. One of my friends had a cilindrical D20 that you spun like a top until it rested on its side. It frustrated the hell out of me and everyone that used it. :P I've never had the need to use a D100, but I'd sure like one day.
  20. I remember, I was in Central Time (a stupid half hour homeroom class they stuck us in before starting normal classes) when it happened. We were just about to leave when the librarian (thats where we had class) told us about the first plane. We turned on the news to watch for a few minutes before we had to leave. At the time, most of us really weren't paying attention, because we simply thought it had been some sort of accident. I'll never forget lazily half watching the TV as I saw the second plane hit. I knew then and there that something was wrong. The rest of the class did too upon hearing my "Holy @!#$ another one just hit!" By the time class had ended, me and another friend were running through the halls, telling everyone what had happened. A teacher picked us up in the commons, and had obviously not heard a word yet and sent us to the principals office for saying such things. By the time we had gotten out, the school was chaos. While I was in middle school, we were also connected to the high school, which was a mad house. Peoples parents were calling in, taking their kids out. Others were calling their 'rents, trying to use it as an excuse, and others just left on their own accord. It was sickening. By lunch, I had heard of the towers, the pentagon and a bunch of others. Rumors were flying, since it had been ordered not to let any of us watch TV. I remember sitting around listening to everyone say what they "knew" The White House, Camp David, The Sears Tower, The Golden Gate Bridge. By the time I had lost my appetite, my mom had called in, and I went home. I remember walking out of school, not knowing what was happening, who was attacking us, or why. I went home thinking the world was comming to an end. I guess in a way it did.
  21. "We're gonna paint that wagon, gonna paint it good. We aint braggin, we're gonna coat that wood!" Sorry, couldn't resist.
  22. Argh, I cant find the names of the books, but theres a series out there that followed up on the movies as well, staying more in tune with what took place during the movie. It follows O'Neill's team and the Abydonians after the fallout of Ra's death.
  23. lol, gosh I'd almost forgoten about the game when I read it. There was a little promo spot for it on the original VHS release for "Generations". From what I could see of the game, it looked like some sort of interactive adventure games, possibly where you chose actions or such, like those old Goose Bumps books where you went to on different story lines depending on those choices. Man, those were fun...I have to go digging through my archives now ;)
