YES! Thank you Zertz! My point exactly. I set up the related topic to remember but all in all, we nedd to move on and think about next year. Uh...then again.. mabye just focus on today because thinking about the election year next year give's me the heebie-jeebies. :D Anyway, we had a 30-second observance of the events of 9-11 this year, when we had a 15-minute one last year. It will go away and we should go about our lives as scheduled. "Remember and move on."

I agree with you StarDust. And people have forgoten that there was a similar incident at the WTC in 1990. So I'm thinking we had a relapse 2 years ago.

Just beware when you get on the Backup Chatrooms, there is a 10 to 20 second "lag" time. Just warning you. Also, I have good advice for all. If all else fails, call a chiropractor.

They say that on 9-11 that you will forever remember where you were. I still do. I was a lowly 5th grader 2 years ago and when I went into the classroom. The teacher had the TV on to ABC and I was watching this peculiar image and they were saying "terroists have hit the Twin Towers" or something like that. Then came the order from the principal over the intercom, "Teachers, please shut off all TV's. We will keep you informed on the situation. Thank you." I didn't learn anything more 'till after school when we went to the local gas station. There were a lot of cars lined up in a semi-organized fashion. My step-mom told me (later I learned was only a rumor) that gas prices in Kansas City was $23.00 a gallon. Later I learned the shocking story that we will never forget. The terroist attacks of the WTC and the Pentagon. Now as I conclude, I'm going to add a related topic to this one. Tell us where you were on 9-11-01. Thank you

An Ignore feature? On a message board? Is this some kind of joke? Seriosly, I'm just wondering why we would have an Ignore feature. Message boards and Chat Rooms are two different things. They wew based on the same principle, but on a message board with an Ignore feature, posts would be completely ignored, meaning that we would be plunged into a Chat Room era, and nobody wants that. :D
