  1. My only problem is that I visit a lot of message boards, and when they all just use the default theme, you tend to get tired of it pretty quickly. :D

Come, now. You cant tell me they ALL look like this. Besides, this site looks more clean cut, like our illustrious clean cut leader.

Okay, I guess we'll have to go back to black! I tried reading the RES Talon Welcome Packet and Policies, but it's in bright green and doesn't read well on sky blue. :D

No, no all you have to do is change the Welcome packet font to black. Problem solved. =0]

I know, I have an answer for everything, dont I? =0]

  2. (Ahh, Knoll, she was on the Arcadia .. lol)

Anika! :D Of course I remember you! Our characters had quite a relationship forming on the Arc before I killed him off, lol. But to answer your question, most of the Arcadia crew you simmed with are still there, with a few exceptions (most notably the Moose  ) But like Andrea said, if you have time, come visit us and see for yourself.

    ::elbows Seibie::

Oh yes. Must be why I remember her so well.

You'll have to excuse me, Anika. My brain isnt up to par yet. =0]

  3. Hello one and all! It has been a few years since I have actually been able to simm, and have missed it. My characters name was Dr. Anika Raine Pierce. Does anyone remeber my character; Do the people I used to simm with still sim? I know I have had a great many life changes since I last simmed, but I really wanted to know who was still out there.)

ANIKA! Welcome back. Of course we remember you! Which SIM did you frequent? I know I SIMmed with you in the academies a few times, but I dont remember which advanced SIM you were in. Im on the Arcadia. It SIMs wednesday nights at 11pm. You should come visit us! =0]

  4. OK, knlwtchr wins. And welcome back. Glad to hear you are feeling better.

    Thank you. Im coming around.

I was looking at the internet and decided to see just how much I had escaped death. I found some very interesting pictures of truckers who weren't so lucky. But, heres one that I found humorous. =0]

  5. OK, you know what? I just got from a week in Las Vegas and took a look at these "captions", some of which are newspaper articles instead, and am rather disappointed.

I expected to see "That farmer has a huge ######!" or something like that. I would have declared anyone with the balls to say it the winner. So the contest remains open for now.

They were probably too afraid to post that, Dumbass. But, since I started the string and I have nothing better to do, I will.

"My, does that Farmer have a large ######-a-doodle!"

    There, happy? =0]

  6. Wow, the ole' Star Trek website. It feels like its been an eternity. Its so nice to be back. I have alot of thank you's to give everyone. Some, I already have through EMails. Others, I will have to catch here. If I've missed ya, you can yell at me at [email protected].

Foremost, thank yous to those onboard the USS Arcadia. You guys were so good to my Mom when she visited. She felt very special, part of the family. I really appreciated that. She still talks about you guys when family or friends visit. I told her she should create a character and join the group. She said she might not be able to keep up. We will have to convince her.

Id also like to thank Jami and A9, who are not part of the Arcadia (that I know) but really helped get my Mom through the first couple weeks. Since we've gotten back to Columbus, she has been able to work more, so she hasnt been online as much. But, she really appreciates chatting with you guys. (Im sure she will be back). The way she talks about everyone, its like she knows everyone like I do. Scarey, eh?

Mom got me a laptop to use to get online for the next couple weeks, until I can get home again. Im not sure when that will be. But Im sure our medical department will be well taken care of, what with our new acting medical officer, and all.(congratulations, Miranda! Promo too, I love it. =0])

Its so nice to look at the boards again. Your posts are a sight for sore eyes.

Thanks to everyone for your posts and EMails. They've meant alot to me.

    More later.

  7. Hi everyone! Two very good pieces of news: Teresa has moved to a hospital in Columbus and she spoke today! I know it may seem odd to celebrate that someone is talking, but she hasnt in nearly 2 weeks. Jami, I read your last entry from this board and she said (in a very low, raspy voice), "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." I asked her why she hadnt spoken before and she barely said, "I just couldnt."

I cant thank you all enough for your words of comfort. The emails and words here have been so dear, even to me. For the first time, I have some real hope for her full recovery. Martha

  8. As many of you know, Teresa was in a very bad accident a couple weeks ago. Her semi jack knived in a rain storm and landed in a median. Right now, she is recovering in a PA hospital. Hopefully soon, they will move her to a local hospital in Ohio. While her injuries are healing nicely, her emotions have taken quite a toll. In fact, she hasnt said a word since her accident. I wanted to ask you all if you could send to her an email or write things here that you think might encourage her to feel better. I will send your messages on to her. I have been asking just about everyone she knows to help and pray. I have been checking her emails and reading your logs to her. Please, keep them coming. Thank you all for your help and prayers. I know she thinks very highly of this group and she has friends here, too. I will write more about her progress later. Thank you all. Martha (Teresa's Mom)

  9. It's true.

STSF went an entire 24 hours without a single post in the Questions & Comments, Communication & Trek Discussion, and STSF Academy categories.

    Is everyone feeling OK?

Good grief, I thought you were going to tell us about someone passing away. You're fired, Dumbass! =0]
