Alexis McFarland: ::Looks at Annisha:: Hmm mimipavilion: According to our counselor, the crewmember can't handle deep space missions very well and thus the request for transfer. Tae'Lynn Dran: Unclear. Chirakis: There is a very slight call for support. Annisha: Hmm? Are you reading my Rihan script? Chirakis: Very slight. Scott Coleridge: I see. Dacia Sandero: ::looks at medical reports and findings :: Nijil tr'Korjata: I have been on many biobeds. Sierra Robinson: Well that is good. I am glad I am good for something on this station aside from giving business to the resident Pizza Maker :: smiles :: Chirakis: :::Cayne::: Is that the best we can get from that beacon? Tae'Lynn Dran: We're rather close to the cargo sections. It may have taken root in something there. Alexis McFarland: Sorta, but I'm not good at reading Rihan. Annisha: It's a bit like Vulcan. Scott Coleridge: ::Mimi:: Thank you, Doctor. I will take that under advisement. Tae'Lynn Dran: A stray seed stowing away in cargo is usually how things like this get around. mimipavilion: ::nods:: Alexis McFarland: Oh, that makes sense. I can read some Vulcan. Tarisa: ::Nods.:: We will get a clearer answer when the roots are located. Sierra Robinson: Mission injuries? Tarisa: Miana> ::Lifts her head up.:: Hmm? Tae'Lynn Dran: Oh, take care. The plant also likes to interact with others. ::swatting away a flowered vine that keeps swaying in her face:: Alexis McFarland: ::smiles:: Yes, Vulcan mimipavilion: ::goes and stands off to the side:: Nijil tr'Korjata: You are a valued member of the team here.. Chirakis: Questions or comments from the crew? Chirakis: Seeing none. Chirakis: Crew dismissed. Be well. Be Safe. Don’t forget your towel.
  2. Mission Brief | Sky Harbor Aegis |23 October 202021 June 2388 - Stardate 2388.173 TBS is 0 hours - the time is 1600 hours (4:00 pm) Aegis Local. Unlike other plants found in various areas of Aegis, the plants on decks 187 and 188 have grown vines along the decking. They weave their way up the bulkheads to grow flowers that give out a sweet aroma, and seem to be watching humanoid movements. Starfleet Command sent the specially designed runabout Osprey into nebula 231 to search for the USS Rodman, USS Chi Song, and USS Agincourt that has been missing for over a week. Since Aegis was closer than Starfleet Command, Osprey reported their positions by the book until its reports faded into the nebula. The closest listening beacon was 427P, not far from Aegis.
  3. Into the Mist “USS Rodman, this is Starfleet Command Runabout Osprey, respond.” Lt Cdr Morre called, paused, then repeated, “USS Rodman, Osprey, I say again, respond.” Another pause. “USS Chi Song, this is Osprey. Respond,” he continued, then, “USS Agincourt, this is Osprey. Respond.” He sighed, clasping his hands behind his head to give his arms a good stretch as he leaned back from the console to stare at the ceiling and give his neck a good crack. “Anything, Lieutenant?” “Not so far, sir,” Lt Ling responded, checking her screen. “The only nebular chatter I get is… wait. I think we have something, sir,” she said, her fingers sweeping the console to pass the information to Moore. “Got it,” he said in a casual vein, not expecting anything new, but checking it out. "USS Rodman, this is runabout Osprey. I say again, respond,” he continued, then switched frequencies. "USS Chi Song, this is runabout Osprey. Respond." Nothing. "Give me a full frequency scan, Lieutenant. 180 degree sweep. Mason. Fire up and give me everything you can see, hear, smell… whatever you can get. Ensign Gleason, mark our coordinates and send them to command. We're moving in. Lt Cdr Moore rested his forearms on the console to focus his energy while he waited for a response. After sweeping through a grid for several days, he hoped there would be at least one sector that would point them toward Rodman, Chi Song, or Agincourt. Lieutenant Ling sat next to him, continuing to sweep the sector grid. “You’d think they would issue several runabouts to scan this quadrant,” quipped Moore. “Case? t’Jana? Anything?” he asked, turning to the lieutenants behind him. “Nothing yet, sir,” t’Jana responded, “but there is a very different signal coming from the nebular ring in sector 503. And a cluster of different colors. Sending it to your screen, sir.” A jaw-dropping mist several parsecs away seemed to dance through that area, not at all like the nebulae they had seen before. “Lieutenant Case? Got any ideas?” “Yes, sir. There’s something out there. My sensors aren’t picking it up, but if it’s changed to audio we might get something.” “Send it over.” On a whim, Moore reduced the frequencies 1.75 times to make areas of the nebula audible—not to humanoid ears, but to his console where he could remove the ordinary sound of a comet, of stars being born or dying, and quasars in the heart of a galaxy… and a few more. But he’d never heard this. “It sounds like…dancing? Or an orchestra. Listen.” Moore attached his gear to the main system just enough to be heard without blaring into their ears. “Whoa…. What does that mean, sir?” asked Case. “Not sure, but let’s mark the area and move in that direction.” A series of "aye, sir" moved them farther into the nebula towards the last coordinates of Rodman, Chi Song, and Agincourt, until strange crackles came through the wire. “We're heading toward a nebular mist Commander," said Case. "Coordinates?. "Two seven zero mark one three five," sir. Moore thought a moment, dropped a buoy into their area of the grid and sent their present coordinates to the closest beacon, Aegis’s 427P. “Move us out, Lieutenant Ling. Slowly. If they’re caught in a nebula, we might be, too.” “Moving out, sir. Heading coordinates niner niner seven mark five two zero.” "Engage."
  4. Aegis Mission Brief 10/16/20 21 June 2388 - Stardate 2388.173 TBS is 22 hours - the time is 1400 hours (2:00 pm) Aegis Local. Decks 187 and 188 are still under quarantine. Dacia Sandero: ::tends to some of the patients in Sickbay:: Nijil tr'Korjata: They had two neighboring species, but it was just a lot of Yith. Chirakis: :::a sweet aroma fills the corridor::: Sierra Robinson: ah..:: checks scrubber power consumption levels :: They were...in peace with each other? Tae'Lynn Dran: These cellular clusters could be a form of thermal detectors. Nijil tr'Korjata: Yeah, which makes their lack of contact more a mystery. Amanda Davis PhD: ::enters::: I have been working with a Lieutenant jg who says he is unable to stand being so far away from home. Nijil tr'Korjata: I hope they contact me again; it would be a shame if they don't. Chirakis: Explain. mimipavilion: Really? Tae'Lynn Dran: Motion is achieved by changing internal pressure of certain chambers in the vines. Amanda Davis PhD: Yes. Really. He's been struggling since he came aboard only a month ago. mimipavilion: Who is the Lt. jg? Amanda Davis PhD: Lieutenant Johnson. Tae'Lynn Dran: ::walking around the vines:: No standard nervous system. mimipavilion: ::takes a seat and looks up Lt. Johnson's file:: Tae'Lynn Dran: We do have some chemicals that could work as response relays. Nijil tr'Korjata: I had to do many things I would never have done as...me. Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: Walks over to Commander Brown :: You have something? Sierra Robinson: :: stops her work :: Hopefully nothing against your beliefs. Amanda Davis PhD: I can't say that it's never happened before, but I think that it's a good idea to give him another command, maybe closer to earth. Nijil tr'Korjata: Beliefs? I had never thought of that, but no. Chirakis: Not that I am aware. They seemed to just appear. mimipavilion: Hmmm... well it's not too unexpected considering that this is his first deep space mission. ::pauses for a bit:: True. CdrBrown: I do.... picking up some audio coming from outside the system. Nijil tr'Korjata: A bit of makeup is not against my beliefs, but they were not into it in a large sense. Muuhi worried about it far more than I ever would. Cdr Wyatt Cayne: :: to Brown :: Outside? Amanda Davis PhD: He's very young. Sierra Robinson: Well I did not catch you wearing Makeup while she was in...you. :: smiles under mask :: CdrBrown: from the nebula... 231. It’s echoing. Chirakis: Perhaps the seeds that the children were given had something to do with it. Nijil tr'Korjata: Oh I heard she treated me well, but... :: rolls up his sleeve :: She left me this tattoo. Tae'Lynn Dran: ::scanning and walking beside the wall:: Alexis McFarland: ::Smiles and reads a holo-comic:: CdrBrown: ::to Cayne:: let me see if I can triangulate the signal using the listening posts, and then try to clean it up Sierra Robinson: What.....??? :: walks over to see :: Nijil tr'Korjata: Roughly, it's their logo.. Tae'Lynn Dran: ::glancing as the leaves and flowers seem to be following her movements:: Sierra Robinson: Uhm...interesting. :: looks :: Like a Starfleet Insignia? Nijil tr'Korjata: Yes, more like their side profile and the planets of their home system. mimipavilion: ::nods:: I'll let command know that he's having personal issues with his first deep space mission and a change of location is recommended. Tae'Lynn Dran: ::turns to the Captain:: Did you say something about seeds? Chirakis: Would it be prudent to take a sample? Chirakis: I did. CdrBrown: ::looks over the data and throws it up on the main viewer:: CdrBrown: ::outloud:: the computer is trying to clean up the audio, or interpret it, but its definitely coming from inside Nebula 231.... deep inside.... Nijil tr'Korjata: That's alright though, I gave her one of a bird holding two worlds in its Talons. Muuhi pushed me into doing it. She knew Prani well. It hurt getting it. Tae'Lynn Dran: I don't think I want to induce a response quite yet so I will limit my samples to already discarded leaves. Sierra Robinson: You guys get these done on station? Chirakis: :::arms cross, she nods:::: Very well. Tae'Lynn Dran: And if we have any of these seeds that could be useful. Cdr Wyatt Cayne: The nebula would distort certain kinds of transmissions. Annisha: :: Wonders if she should have pictures :: Tae'Lynn Dran: ::gathers a sample container from her bag and begins collecting leaves from the ground:: Amanda Davis PhD: I'll go back to my office and keep him calm for a while, maybe ask where he would rather be. CdrBrown: It would. and its definitely echoing, as the identical signals become weaker with each instance as it bounces around the nebula Nijil tr'Korjata: I had it done on the planet, she must have had it done here. Alexis McFarland: ::likes pictures. makes things more pretty:: Nijil tr'Korjata: Hope we are not bonded.... Nijil tr'Korjata: I don't know if I can handle two wives... Tae'Lynn Dran: ::looks up at a flower that is somehow "looking" back at her:: mimipavilion: ::nods:: good idea. try to get some info Tarisa: Miana> ::Starts drawing on her tablet.:: Sierra Robinson: Uh I think one husband would be enough for me. :: heads back to her station :: Amanda Davis PhD: I will. :::exits Mimi's office:::: CdrBrown: ::Cayne:: if we connect the dots, going by strength of signal at each instance, we may be able to bounce a signal back Tae'Lynn Dran: Very odd. mimipavilion: ::starts typing up the message to Scott and Chirakis:: Cdr Wyatt Cayne: And contact the runabout? CdrBrown: or the fleet, or whoever is generating the noise CdrBrown: listening beacon 427P is closest, probably need about 5 minutes or so to realign to transmit a pulse. Nijil tr'Korjata: Bolians and Denobulans have multi-bondings.. :: shrugs :: Chirakis: Odd, but enticing. Cdr Wyatt Cayne: We need to get a specialized relay nearby. Alexis McFarland: ::pets Miana:: Sierra Robinson: The galaxy has many interesting cultures so the academy professor began.... Nijil tr'Korjata: Oddly enough, she would be a wife I may never meet. CdrBrown: for more extensive comms yes, but 427P can at least let us know if someone is out there in the meantime. Tae'Lynn Dran: Well, ::stows the samples in her bag::: Flower blooms are typically for reproductive use so enticing is part of the process. Cdr Wyatt Cayne: Any information is helpful. Chirakis: Anything else from you, Commander? Cdr Wyatt Cayne: Nothing else from me, though space vines holding the ships in the nebula would not surprise me. Chirakis: Interesting. Chirakis: Questions or comments from the crew? CdrBrown: definitely do not have evil space vines on my 2020 bingo card. Chirakis: Commander Coleridge should be back next week. Hopefully Commander Kital as well. Chirakis: If nothing else... Chirakis: Crew dismissed. Be well. Be Safe. Don’t forget your towel.
  5. Mission Brief | Sky Harbor Aegis |16 October 2020 21 June 2388 - Stardate 2388.173 TBS is 22 hours - the time is 1400 hours (2:00 pm) Aegis Local. Unlike the other three types of flowers that began to grow on Aegis, Vines with a sweet aroma and beautiful flowers have begun to grow on the walls of decks 187 and 188. When personnel are approached, the flowers reach out to touch them gently, and often bow toward them. Decks 187 and 188 are still under quarantine. The Starfleet Command runabout sent to retrieve the USS Rodman, USS Ci Song, and USS Agincourt has also disappeared into nebula 231.

  10. Mission Brief | Sky Harbor Aegis |2 October 2020 20 June 2388 - Stardate 2388.172 TBS is 20 hours - the time is 0900 hours (9:00 am) Aegis Local. Of all the Pakleds who ate the plant and died, two have survived. Medical is investigating the interaction between the Pakleds’ DNA and the plants. Security has received additional resources to keep the Pakleds quarantined. Science is examining seeds that were given to the children by a Pakled. Starfleet Command has sent several clandestine* operators to Aegis. They blend with everyone on the station and report incidents to Captain Chirakis and Commander Coleridge. Undercover security agents who live Below Decks have found plants in decks 188 and 187. Security has quarantined the area and will begin to search for the source.
  11. Growth of an Empire ~ 3 Aegis Deck 188 Undercover security agents Glen and Senna Matise had lived Below Decks for almost a year. Deck 188 was still under construction and wasn’t particularly enjoyable, but there was something about living among the lower class that had pulled them into enjoying a new lifestyle. What you had, you shared. What they had, they shared. In essence, Glen and Senna blended well with the natives who scavenged for the comforts of home: a bed, a worn out carpet, a few chairs—none of which matched—a small table and replicator, and other paraphernalia. Posing as teachers, Senna taught the younger group the basics of education. Glen taught the older group algebra, calculus, geometry, and physics, along with basic defensive tactics—"awesome" as far as the teens were concerned. As soon as possible the older group cajoled him into finishing science and math as quickly as possible, then moving into defensive tactics because, after all, defensive tactics were “so cool”. Knowing how a teen’s mind worked, Glen watched them carefully, especially after they begged him to have "scramble teams” —a little wrestling and a whole lot of just plain scrambling on the deck. They enjoyed that part more than anything else. As the station’s day melted into evening, Senna stepped out of their apartment and leaned against the wall to watch the children play. Glen came up from behind with his towel barely absorbing the sweat that dripped from his scalp to his forehead. He smelled of gymnasium, and his workout clothes were in desperate need of washing. “How did it go?” asked Senna, as if she didn’t know that the teens had done their best to give him a hefty workout. “Pretty much like skipper’s training. Damn, they’re good.” He whispered on a sigh, then gave the towel another swipe and leaned against the wall. “Looks like they’re making something with flowers.” “Laurel wreaths. It’s that time of year for them, apparently. We made laurel wreaths in May. They make them in June and dance around what we called a May pole. The little ones are so cute, aren’t they?” Glen had pushed off from the wall to stare at the flowers piled on the floor and the children weaving the wreaths, talking and giggling when they put them on. “Glen, what’s wrong?” “They’re all green,” he said quietly, moving toward them. “Where did they get the flowers?” “I… really don’t know,” she replied following along. “I think they’re growing on deck 187, or at least somewhere in this area.” “Relax and smile,” he said quietly as he approached a youngster. “Wow, you have quite a group of beautiful green flowers there. What are you making?” he asked, kneeling next to a six year old. “Well, I’m making a headband,” she responded with pride as she continued to work, “but Denese is making a tiara and Katie...well, she likes rings on her fingers… but they’re making her itch.” “Hm… maybe she should wash them off and do something else if it makes her itch. Are they all green?” “Oh, yeah. With white flowers blooming inside. See?” she said, waving it at his face. Glen leaned back and began to sneeze. “Yeah, they smell, but they look so nice and it’s blooming time so we make wreaths and have a party.” “Wow… a party?” He said admiringly as he pressed a silent alarm on his wrist that alerted Security. “I think you’d better get a shower before you have the party. But where did you get the flowers?” She shrugged, looking at her clothes. “We found them on the floor just around the corner after school. But they’re so pretty… even though they smell. Yeah, I’m going to shower.” “Got any bags?” “Hmm… no. But my mom does. I’ll get ‘em for you.” And she skipped off. Glen bagged and secured the flowers, then passed the word to the children’s parents to scrub them thoroughly and stay inside. As soon as he entered their apartment, he secured the flowers, scrubbed himself from head to toe, then made his call. “BD base, BD 7. Did you get that?” “BD 7, BD base. Copy. Security locked doors and is en route. Area is quarantined. Copy?” “BD base, BD 7. Copy. Deck 187 should also be secured. Copy?” "BD 7, BD base. Deck 187 is compromised. Copy?" "BD base, BD 7. Copy."

Tarisa: ::Grabs a PADD, loading some information. She then slides it over to Chirakis.:: This is what we have so far. Sierra Robinson: :: looks at Lt Dran's work ... :: Something in the back of my head wonders...where the hell they found a plant like this::: Tarisa: Lt. Tarisa: Miana> ::Tilts her head as she tries to process that.:: Tae'Lynn Dran: So you should probably scan for all three of these molecular chains. I would really really recommend safeguard though. Only one of these breaks down when digested. The other two can stay in the system for sometime. You could easily transport someone out by mistake. Very sad day. Tarisa: ::Gets a slight chill down her back and tail.:: Annisha: :: Tired off all these mornings.. :: Sierra Robinson: Good Morning sir. Tarisa: Miana> ::Yawns as she starts to wake up.:: Dacia Sandero: ::cleaning things up in Sickbay now that most of the Pakleds are gone:: Nijil tr'Korjata: :: Stands at the main status console :: Amanda Davis PhD: There are two left who are still alive. :::sits::: And that makes me wonder how they can stay alive and the others can’t. Alexis McFarland: ::tosses to her side and opens her eyes, rubbing them:: mimipavilion: Good question. Chirakis: :::she pushes off from the window and continues her walk on the carpet, stopping next to Scott::: (w) Commander, when you have a moment, come to my office. Tarisa: ::Takes the lift to the labs.:: Sierra Robinson: :: walks over to Nijil with her cup of coffee and a PADD :: Tae'Lynn Dran: ::sets the padd aside and starts some stretching exercises.:: Amanda Davis PhD: I've given them several tests, and they look the same as the ones who died. Scott Coleridge: ::nods:: I'll be right there. ::finishes up his current task:: mimipavilion: Hmmm... Chirakis: :::stops next to Jyl:: (w) Let me know if you have any information from the children. Jylliene: (w) Yes ma'am. Alexis McFarland: ::yawns and crawls out of bed:: Nijil tr'Korjata: Oh, Morning. Tarisa: Miana> ::Gets up, and starts getting ready for the day.:: Nijil tr'Korjata: I could only have coffee :: tips his cup :: mimipavilion: We should look closer at their DNA. There has to be something there that we aren't seeing. Amanda Davis PhD: ::closes Mimi's door:: I can't find anything that is different from the others.... but I already said that. Hm… their DNA..... possibly. Tarisa: ::Arrives in the lab. Starts sipping at her tea.:: Sierra Robinson: :: smiles behind her mask :: Here is the report on Station PPM, and scrubbers. Sierra Robinson: :: Hands PADD to Nijil :: Nijil tr'Korjata: Alright... :: takes a look at the report :: mimipavilion: ::nods:: It was their DNA and the plant DNA that got us where we are. Chirakis: ::enters her office, leaving the door open::: Alexis McFarland: ::emerges from her bathroom and changes into something comfy:: mimipavilion: I know I didn't look deep enough, but I'm sure there's something there. Scott Coleridge: ::get up from his station and heads to Chirakis' office:: Jylliene, you have the conn. Chirakis: ::relaxing on the couch, she pages through information from October, from security, and from a few others:: Tae'Lynn Dran: ::still stretching, picks up the padd to add another note:: Jylliene: Yes sir. Sierra Robinson: Better, but until all those plants are gone. :: leaves the rest unsaid :: Scott Coleridge: ::enters Chirakis' office:: You wanted to see me, Captain? Annisha: :: Bummed she does not get to play with the seeds :: Tarisa: Morning exercise? ::Sets her cup down as she gets into her bag for her pastry.:: Chirakis: ::looks up::: Yes, Commander. Close the door and have a seat. Scott Coleridge: ::follows instructions, taking a seat in a chair across from the couch:: Jylliene: ::sends Chirakis a quick message:: Chirakis: :::puts aside her tablet and presses the security button. Green light turns to blue::: Tae'Lynn Dran: Just trying to stretch. I was up late with so many experiments going. Plants, soil samples, now some seeds. A lot going on. Tae'Lynn Dran: I need a swim. Chirakis: Commander...... ::::long pause to think::: Nijil tr'Korjata: Yeah, I was so distracted. Good job on the plantworks. Sierra Robinson: With your permission I would like to contact Science and try to get some sort of compound the internal scanners can lock onto to facilitate transporting. Tarisa: That sounds nice. ::Starts eating.:: I heard that we had picked up some seeds now. Sierra Robinson: Family okay sir? Nijil tr'Korjata: Sure, my daughter had seeds given to her by a Pakled, so they may be able to find something there. Chirakis: It is very possible that we are being held hostage by Ragor Tal. ... Tae'Lynn Dran: Yes. Going through normal scans and cataloging of them now. Sierra Robinson: Gosh she did not eat any did she? Scott Coleridge: ::listens to the theory:: Alexis McFarland: ::finishes up her breakfast:: Sierra Robinson: :: a quick adjustment of her mask and she finishes her coffee :: Nijil tr'Korjata: No, she was going to look at them close up, maybe grow one in a chamber Chirakis: Something will happen, it will be fixed, then something else will happen, and on it goes. His marks are all over it. However... he will never emerge. He leaves his personnel to do the dirty work. Nijil tr'Korjata: :: He had yet to shake his Yith accent. If anyone found it strange they kept silent :: Chirakis: ...and most of what is happening is inside the station. mimipavilion: ::Amanda:: Any theories? Annisha: :: Gets dressed and starts to head out for the day :: Scott Coleridge: Even for Tal this seems, I don’t know, convoluted. And using Pakleds? Sierra Robinson: Anything else I can help you with at the moment sir? Chirakis: :::slight smirk::: Pakleds are useful because it throws us off the trail and because of their ignorance. Amanda Davis PhD: Not really, Mimi. Amanda Davis PhD: I wish I knew more... or had more. Chirakis: Or, at least, it would seem that the Pakleds are ignorant of everything, when they might not be. Nijil tr'Korjata: Unless you can do time and space travel, no. This empty feeling will need to pass. Chirakis: I have spoken to Admiral Solokov. He believes the same, as does SI-5 Director Torak. Tarisa: Anything unusual so far? ::Washing her pastry down with her tea.:: mimipavilion: I know the feeling. After I get these death certificates dealt with I'll take a closer look at the remaining Pakleds DNA, hopefully I can find something useful. Sierra Robinson: I don't have that power yet sir...maybe in the future. :: another unseen smile :: Chirakis: You are always vigilant, Commander. Keep it that way. Chirakis: Thoughts? Sierra Robinson: Okay Lemme get to work on contacting science. Nijil tr'Korjata: Or the past. I.. showed them how transporters worked. So I suppose they could transport me or them. Scott Coleridge: I’ll do my best. Security has the quarantine well in hand. Medical is still investigating the interaction between the Pakleds’ DNA and the plants. Scott Coleridge: I guess I think we should consider what the next move would be. Alexis McFarland: ::finishes breakfast, sipping on some juice:: Tae'Lynn Dran: Nothing yet. Normally I'd just plant one and see what grew but given recent events I believe I will run a hypothetical growth simulation first, once all the scans are completed. Dacia Sandero: ::in the medical lab, doing over some Pakleds DNA samples:: Sierra Robinson: That would be an interesting field trip for myself. Amanda Davis PhD: :::nods::: I'll keep watch on the Pakleds that are still alive and don't seem to have a problem with their DNA. Nijil tr'Korjata: ::: looks at the display :: This cleanup will take some time. Chirakis: Agreed. Tarisa: ::Nods.:: Better to be safe. Tae'Lynn Dran: Simulated plagues are much easier to clean up anyways. mimipavilion: ::nods:: Tarisa: ::Smiles:: Indeed. Sierra Robinson: Indeed....:: walks over to communications bay :: Scott Coleridge: I don't have any bright ideas on that front yet. Sierra Robinson: + Science + Engineering to Science Chirakis: Nor do I... Tarisa: ::Ear perks up.:: +Engineering+ Go ahead. Chirakis: However, there are clandestine personnel on the station. They keep close watches. Either you or I will receive a message. You will not know from whence it came, but there will be a code attached. Only you and I will have that information. Sierra Robinson: + Science + Lt jg Robinson speaking, have we been able to isolate any molecular compound unique to the invasive plant brought aboard the station? Alexis McFarland: ::on her bed, readings a PADD:: Chirakis: They will look and act like ordinary people throughout the station. Sierra Robinson: + Science + We are looking for something the internal sensor array can use to target the offensive plants for transport. Scott Coleridge: I thought that merchant was looking at me funny the other day. Chirakis: That merchant? Tarisa: +Sierra+ I will send you the specs I used when we first began targeting them. Amanda Davis PhD: :::checks the patients who seem to be healing::: Scott Coleridge: Yeah, a merchant on the commerce level. Gave me a funny look as I walked by. Sierra Robinson: + Tarisa + Thank you. I'll contact you for questions. Tarisa: +Sierra+ Understood. :;Walks over to a console, and begins sends the data to Engineering.:: Alexis McFarland: ::wonders what Miana is up to:: Chirakis: If you saw him again, would you recognize him? Sierra Robinson: :: Hopes she can get the internal sensor arrays something to lock on unique to the plant to beam the blasted things into space :: Tarisa: Miana> ::Had just finished breakfast and was ready to run around.:: Sierra Robinson: Peter Pakled> :: looks on at what looks to be another no business day while in his store :: Alexis McFarland: ::heads out of her room and over to Miana's:: mimipavilion: ::finishes the death certificates and takes a closer, in-depth look at the DNA samples of the Pakleds:: Tarisa: Miana> ::Almost crashes into Alexis as she was doing the same.:: Yay! Alexis McFarland: Oof. Miana ::smiles, hugs:: Tarisa: Miana> ::purrs.: Alexis McFarland: Hey, full of energy again. Chirakis: Seeing none.... Chirakis: Crew dismissed. Be well. Be Safe. Don’t forget your towel.
  15. Mission Brief | Sky Harbor Aegis |18 September 2020 19 June 2388 - Stardate 2388.171 TBS is 19.5 hours - the time is 0730 hours (7:30 am) Aegis Local. Security personnel are on watch for deadly green plants. As soon as the Pakleds ate the plants, it altered their DNA and killed them. All Pakleds, whether or not they ate the plants, are quarantined. Annisha, Miana, and Alexa might know something about the plants. Some plants are dangerous; others are not. It is possible that Aegis is under attack from within.
