We utilize our own chat rooms here; I believe Paramount took down the chat rooms at ST.com. Just click on the Live Chat link just under our title bar and you'll be logged in. Your chat room log in and password is your forum id and password if you wish to log in off the homepage.

I'd not worry that it's a blunder. Once you're posted to an Advanced Sim, and have posted a bio, your fellow players will know who you are talking too. As an example, STSF_Scooter (another of the GMs) uses Audraya Wesley as her character's name and "Scooter" as a callsign.
