About K'mar

  1. "The First Step" (Note: this log takes place a few days after the log "Modus Operandi", found in the Challenger Construction board. That log should therefore be read as if it were posted just recently for purposes of this plot.) ----------------------------------------------------------- It was quiet on Qo'nos, the middle of the night. Even for Klingons, sleep, as most everywhere else in the known galaxy, was important. But not all were sound asleep in their homes. At least one was awake, his goal a tall, but non-descript building in the midst of the "governmental" quadrant of the city. Using a stolen passcard, K'mar, son of Lorgh, made his way inside, making it look like he belonged there. Only a fat, old drunkard warrior guarded the inside for the night watch. No one but he was around. No one would dare attempt what he was about to do. K'mar walked carefully to the General's office, every so often backtracking up a set of stairs, and back down another. In this building, everything important was underneath the street level, unlike it's Federation counterpart. Finally stopping outside his target, K'mar stopped, not breathing as he listened for any sound, anywhere. Hearing nothing but the scurry of a rodent, he again used the stolen passcard and entered General Lorgh's office. Stopping for a moment, he gazed upon the deep-red carpet. It was rumored that the carpet in this room was stained with the blood of those who had failed the General. As a child, K'mar had never been allowed in this room, but now, he knew the rumours were true. Growling under his breath, K'mar stole away to General Lorgh's desk, looking for what he came for. It disgusted him to think that his own father was betraying the Empire in the manner he was. Corruption and greed had torn the once powerful Empire apart, and he was determined to win it back from those like his father. Holding a sheet of paper up, K'mar grinned a toothy grin. The first step was about to begin. --------------------------------------------------------
