I am trying to decide which ship (Challenger, Agincourt, Arcadia, Sky Harbor Aegis, Reaent, ect.) to ask to be assigned to, and I was wondering if any of you recommend one more then others?

The idea is that you tell me what you need changed and I fix it in the back end. So, what can I do for you?

Well I was hoping to change it to my chars real name, Aliana Lucindak instead of Lucinda.

I really can't choose between DS9 and TNG.... I might be able to choose if I knew what situation I was in....

Greetings ... 'new' to this board ... not to Trek Roleplay / simming by any means.

 

It's too bad Sims are not held Mon-Fri between 1000-1300 EST as that's when I'm home :S I work 1500-2300 :S and Sunday's I have too much on with friends and family (since that's when I see them).

 

I figure sometime, I'll get into one of the Acads or just head back to being President of the Risian Home Owners Association *LOL*

They do change sims times every now and then. Good luck in finding one!

Well all it is official....The wedding of Arch Angel and His lovely bride Schawnsee was a resounding success. The wedding was Officiated by Admiral Atragon performing the ceremony among friends and fellow officers.

 

The new Mr.&Mrs. Angelis are officially husband and wife, Congradulations to the happy new couple...They will be honeymooning on Risa at an all expense paid trip to the newest resort to Risa "The Red Star Resort"compliments of Joe Manning.

 

The honeymoon included many gifts and first class accomidations on the new space liner to the system "Russian Star"...also compliments of Mr.Manning.

 

The wedding and catering were compliments of KBear, And Eagle. :lol:

alright then one other simple question..... how are we calculating stardate?

I had that same question.... I still do, but if you want to find a date I would go to this star trek stardate calc. online.

Wow! that is a lot of posts! are they academy sims? I just had my first aca. sim. it was slightly confusing, but I think I did ok. I have new respect for ASCI's lol

Two things to remember: 1) Any Academy hosted by STSF N'Dak is a guaranteed suicide mission [And that's a direct quote from his signature]. 2) Never compare the GMs to Captains Bligh or Queeg if you want to get graduate sometime before the turn of the century.

 

That being said, I'd recommend reading: How to sim, as well as: Tips from the Moose

 

For all your technobabble needs, visit Memory Alpha (I see that you already are familiar with both Alpha and Beta) or Ex Astris Scientia.

 

Academy times are listed ET, so adjust as appropriate for your timezone. Academies are mandatory, and everyone is human. Save your character development for your Advanced Ship. Minimum graduation time is 3 Academies, but don't expect to graduate that quickly; the host teams prefer to see how are over a longer span of time. And once you are posted to your first Advanced Sim, it's strongly recommended that any ideas that go outside Trek canon be approved by your host team.

Greetings. I have just arrived in starfleet academy and while loving star trek I do not know much about the operations. Thank God at least (the total coolness of) Major Kira doesn't know all of the techno babble (like most of the other characters on DS9) or I think there would be a lot of dejected fans. :lol:
