Arcadia tries to retrieve the probe sent by USS Maine. They have to divert a Somonian research ship that also saw the probe. chatlog2018-7-8.txt

Arcadia heads out toward the edge of the system. They try to contact Arcadia. Instead, their signal is picked up by USS Maine, a starship halfway across the quadrant that is investigating a massive moving object. They manage to send a probe through, on the theory that the Drain is a large unstable wormhole; the probe appears near the orbit of the 5th planet. Maine sends a message to Arcadia letting the ship know what happened to the shuttle. chatlog2018-6-24.txt

The two Somonians help guide the Arcadia shuttle to pass by the Somonian's secret island facility. The shuttle is unable to detect Borg nanoprobes, but they do detect tritanium, which is beyond the technology of Somon. They decide to get help from Arcadia, heading out of the system ... at a slow enough speed that they won't attract attention from the Somonians. chatlog2018-6-17.txt

Arc's shuttle launches into orbit. The Drain limits sensor resolution. The Somonians tell them where it is likely that their government might be hiding any crashed alien spacecraft and they set course for somewhere close to there (but legal to be), hoping to catch something on scanners. chatlog2018-6-10.txt

The two Somonians go to the shuttle and marvel at Arcadia's scanning technology. They analyze "the signal" from the library and find snippets of communications from the Delta, Gamma, and Beta quadrants. They go into orbit and try to compensate for the Drain. chatlog2018-6-3.txt

The away team gathers evidence in the library of a suspected prior Borg landing on the planet - and learns about the Somon sense of hearing-by-touch. chatlog2018-5-27.txt

The Arc AT reveals themselves to the Somonian repair crew guy when they think that a Borg probe - with a Borg - had landed somewhere on the planet. They return to the library to gather evidence. chatlog2018-5-6.txt

The Arcadia away team denies that they are aliens until they find that some of the evidence for aliens' existence involves a picture of a bullet-shaped robot probe that allegedly crashed on the planet. The AT asks for help finding the photo, which is in the library. chatlog2018-4-29.txt

A fire alarm rings in the garage (set off accidentally by Ens Howell in the building). The conversation between the AT and repair crew guy continues. The alien conspiracy guy slips away. chatlog2018-4-22.txt

The AT confronts the Somonians who have their tricorder and attempt to convince them that they are not aliens and get the tricorder back. chatlog2018-4-15.txt

The AT leaves the library (leaving a lost Howell behind) and catches up with the repair crew and alien conspiracy guys who followed them. chatlog2018-3-18.txt

Dana finds a librarian and gets some advice operating the card catalog computer. He looks up engineering books. Arizhel tries to learn about the Drain. Howell stays behind looking at the scrolls. The Arcadia AT lands their shuttle and goes to the main library. They try to interact with the computers, but find it difficult (keyboard interface). Howell finds one of the items on the shelf, which they think is a data cylinder, but turns out to be a scroll. The AT shuttle detours around all of the closed spaceways, arriving at the main planet in the Somon system. They direct themselves toward the Central Knowledge Repository in the Academicon to try to find out more about what is known about the Drain. The AT's shuttle leaves, headed for the main planet in the Somon system, tailed by the personal vehicle of the repair crew guy and alien conspiracy guy. They listen to the radio and find that some of the assigned space routes have been rerouted. chatlog2018-2-18.txt

The AT got into their shuttle. The repair crew tried to install a tracking device on the shuttle, but their plot was foiled. The shuttle was then held up from leaving Lunite Station while the alien conspiracy guy and his friend the repair crew guy (do these guys have names) wait in their own vehicle to follow them. chatlog2018-2-11.txt

The Arc crew is stopped and questioned by a local who knows that they traveled to the system's Oort Cloud, and happens to believe in the existence of aliens. Arizhel inadvertently confirms that the Drain ends at the Oort Cloud. Ens Howell drops his tricorder and puts it back in his pocket. He is pickpocketed by the man and doesn't notice. The AT explores Lunite station, finding it to be cramped and overcrowded. They try to find a public computer terminal to do some research and are directed toward one. An unknown figure goes through the crowd, following the AT. chatlog2017-12-17.txt

The Arcadia crew docks in a bay at Lunite Station. They try to tell a station repair crew and a Traffic Investigations officer that the shuttle contents are classified. The repair crew accepts the explanation and promises to bring repair parts. The TIA officer is skeptical, but seems to be accepting it. chatlog2017-12-3.txt

Shuttle "Ruby" (the AT) is contacted by Somon system traffic control, which directs them to stop until a Rescue Service vessel comes. The Rescue Service can't get their vessel in because of the "Drain", so they send a (rocket powered) drone, which the shuttle must follow. The Arcadia shuttle continues into the Somon system and continues to lose power. The science ensign is completely unhelpful. The shuttle is contacted by Somon space traffic control and told to go onto a designated space highway, which they don't know where it is. They feign having navigational issues. chatlog2017-11-5.txt

USS Arcadia sends a shuttle to the Somon system, where the 2nd planet has high enough technology to have warp drive, but has never developed it. The shuttle experiences a power drop while in the system. The science ensign on assignment is particularly unhelpful in diagnosing it. chatlog2017-10-22.txt
