  6. PERSONAL LOG Koshic L. N'Dak, Ph.D. ASCI USS Arcadia Star Date 0312.11 >Begin Log< Peaceful sleep was something N’dak hadn’t known for some time. Come to think of it, he had wakened up screaming almost every night since coming on board the Arcadia. N’Dak had been on the bridge, manning the Tactical station, when the Andorians attacked. He had been on of the first to fall prey to the anesthizine gas that filled the bridge. The ensign lay on his consol, motionless with the exception of movement from his eyes in a back and forth pattern—he was dreaming. In N’dak’s head, he awoke on the bridge, most of the crew was dead, or at least everyone on the bridge that out ranked him. The Commander had been shot by the Andorians early in the battle as had the Helmsman. As his mind raced one of the Andorians fired at him. He grabbed his phaser and fired back. Before he could do anything else, a young ensign, that he didn’t recognize, yelled at him. “Sir you’re in command everyone else is dead,” the exasperated young man said, “What do we do?!?!” The possibility of command had never really occurred to Ensign N’Dak. Hell he didn’t even want to serve on ships when he left the Academy, let alone command one. And now he was in command of one of the most powerful ships in the fleet—under siege? “Umm…” N’Dak said confused. “Seal off the bridge. See if we can use the communication systems. Get the Marine commander up here, now!” After a few minutes they managed to get the Andorians off the bridge and get it partly sealed. N’Dak sighed as the younger officers helped clear the deck of dead bodies. One of the younger ones was crying as she carried off the dead body of the commander. Koshic shook his head and sighed again. “What the hell are these Andorians doing, they are Federation members, have they forgotten that?” None of this made sense to Koshic, but his thinking was interrupted by a voice asking where the ‘Captain’ was. He had almost forgotten the old Earth Naval ritual of calling whoever was in command at the time Captain. He turned around to face the voice, it was Marine. “That would be I guess.” “Wish I was meeting you under better circumstances, sir” the young First Lt. said extending his hands. “I am First Lt. Youngblood. Most of the ship is cut off from each other, either by Andorians or by lock down. Where Lt. Duncan is I don’t know.” “Thank you, Mr. Youngblood,” N’Dak said running his hands through his hair. “Take some of your men and see if you can get to Engineering, see what’s going on down there.” “Yes Sir!” Youngblood said saluting. N’Dak started to stop him, but didn’t. That is when it hit him: I am in command. His mind raced. In his head he made a simple plan: Get control of the ship and then save the Captain—that was if they hadn’t killed him too… >End Log<
  7. Welcome and hope to see you simming!
  8. ::takes some Notes for Tal Shiar about this one:: Umm Jolan Tru...I mean welcome to the Fleet
  9. I am so not going there...wait...yes I am... The BB twins (notice i am not blaming this all on Berman) has driven the franchise into the ground, this isn't about Enterprise (althought i guess at some level it is) It is about the state of the Franchise, which is and lets all admit it, not what it should be, and i think as director of the Franchise the BB twins get to take the blame (Like some one said about a Football team--Ultimatly the QB and Coach have to take the blame when things ain't going great) As a parting shot... If we are going to be stuck with Enterprise, at least put it on a major network...not like Viacom doesn't own CBS or anything!!! I think that is at least half the problem with the Franchise that its not accesable to a lot of people, after all it is on UPN, arguablly one of Viacom's worst ideas in a while....
  10. OKay, I had to take a personality test for my Psych 101 class (only one more class...praise god!!!) and one of the questions was really hard: What one word best describes you? So now I ask my fellow STSF'ers: What one word (keep it clean please :) ) best describes you? or What one word best describes your 'Charcter' on one of the ships?
  11. there is always re-runs B) and if we don't get the son..at least let Majel have some power over the franchise than the Bad Boys
  12. Amen is all i have to say...Amen. I haven't liked Berman since day one!
  13. Well guess I will be the optimistic one... It would apear that Paramount, who has a lot of money invested in Star Trek, is making an effort to save the Franchise.
  14. Modest...have you seen her shoe collection...I think the word oyu are looking for is ecentric B)
  15. If thats not the pot calling the kettle black ::thwaps nem:: anywho...welcome to STSF always good to have fresh meat...I mean new people :)

  17. welcome to our family caleb... oh and i have seen you a few times...keep up the good work!
  18. thats fitting dac :) although everytime i think abut you i think about a line from Legally Blond 2 with a slight twist... "Never under estimate a girl with a french maniqure and a phaser rifle"
  19. ::thwaps nem and dumbass:: eye coramba
  20. Well Grom I think your partly right, but your also wrong (in my opinion) and here is why: Life as we know it probabbly doesn't exsist anywhere else. Our formation and assent through evoloution was very hit and miss, but on some other world reptiles may have acsended to top of the food chain, or even those wonderful Pandarians :). And my other argument for E.T. life (here is my God argument to really stir the pot) is why would he create all of this for just one species that sounds like a pretty big waste to me and we know he isn't one to create things like the stars just so we ahve something to look at :) So in other words Trekkies, the chances of meeting all those races who like humans with just a nosewrinkle here or there isn;t very good, it is more likely to see those thing in the 'Alien' movies....hey now there is an Academy plot for some one....STSF vs the Aliens.....
  21. I think instead of a Greek God ill just be Inuyasha :)
  22. OCC: Really a second part to 'meditations' :) PERSONAL LOG Ensign Koshic L. N’dak, Ph.D. ASCI USS Arcadia Stardate 0311.29 >Begin Log< The piano playing and the deep mediation had relaxed N’dak very well and he quickly fell asleep. But all was not peaceful inside. As he slept the dreams returned to him. It started just as it always did, in a dark room with only a single light filtering down directly on him. Then he heard the tapping of the cane on the floor, and soon the shadowy dark figure that e now recognized as Captain Moose appeared before him. But there was something different this time—he could ‘feel’ other people in the room. “Who else is here?” N’dak cried out. The shadowy Moose turned to face him. “Only those which are in your mind’s eye. They have come to observe this time. They think that I am not getting through to you, do not fail me.” “How can I pass this test when I don’t know what you want!” N’dak cried out to the figure. “I ask the questions, not you!” the figure said shedding the dark cloak to reveal a jeweled armor plated outfit and a long shiny sword protruding from its sheath. “Now one more time,” the figure said wheeling his cane. “Who are you?” “I am Koshic N’Dak!” “Incorrect! Danm it you just don’t get it do you!” The shadowy figure levitated above him and nailed N’Dak with swift blow to the head. “Answer the question! THEY want to know!” the shadowy figure said pointing to cloaked figures around the room. “None of this is real, this is all an illusion!” But this time when he said those words the room didn’t vanish. He didn’t wake up in his bed on the Arcadia. Instead he was still there, something was different though. As N’Dak came to his feet, the figure faced him, but in the place of Captain Moose—it was Koshic himself—but with black hair and a dark outfit. N’Dak looked down at himself and noticed that he was light colored out fit and that his previously short blond hair was long again and that he too was armed. “So you finally realize what this is, took you long enough…” >To be continued<
  23. The rock type in China is actually a lot better than that in Vermont so they dont have to be as strong in China to carry over long distances. Wow I am really geeky. :D
  24. Hong Kong is located at the end of the Maylay (sp?) pennisula. As for your question tino, If the earthquake was strong, yes he might have felt slight aftershocks, the type of 'rock' there carries siesmic waves quite well, although to him it might just have been a slight vibration.
  25. Ha! I think I am going to start calling Blu Mittens!
