  1. Dog's or cats too much work? Don't have time for a Gerbil? Than the oversized stuffed rodent is right for you. All the upsides of having a pet, but without the responibilities. It can't be kicked of a Starship cause it's not real! Only $19.95. (Shipping only available to planets in the Alpha Quadrant side of the UFP.)

  2. You probably know the format for simming but Tips from the Moose are always fun to read. The How-to page will help you get used to our style of simming. And look for the schedule for sims you can attend. The times are in EST so you have to adjust for whatever timezone you live in.

  3. Duty Log Ensign Joe Wilson

This shift has been interesting to say the least. First the Lieutenant that gave me a scare, and, oh wait I should elaborate on that (laughs). At the beginning of the shift a poor Lieutenant came in complaining of nausea, so following standard operating procedure I got him on to the Biobed to run some preliminary scans. Once I got him on to the bed he proceeded to throw up onto the floor, I was barely able to dodge the stream of vomit as it came to the floor. After doing some scans I diagnosed him with a case of the flu. I proceeded to give a hypospray filled with a mixture of Acetaminophen, Dextromethorphan, and Phenylephrine to help with his symptoms. After I gave him the shot his life signs went down unexpectedly. I could not figure out a source of the problem. After about a minute or so he vomited again and his life signs returned to normal. He was then able to walk off and return to work. After he left I called a maintenance team to come clean up the mess. They were very efficient in their cleaning of the vomit but very inefficient in getting to sickbay. Though that might have been a side effect of the Yellow Alert that was happening at the time, so I won’t lodge a formal complaint with the Commander. Other than that it has been a normal shift so far. Hopefully we will be informed of the reason to this Yellow Alert.

History: Born to Steve and Jan Wilson, Joe showed aptitude in science at a young age, and loved to take care of injured animals and people, so it was no surprise to his parents when he said he wanted to be a doctor. The real surprise was when he stated his interest in joining Starfleet. His astonished parents inquired as to why he wanted to join. His reply was "There are people on other planets and starships that need my help." He then enlisted in the academy and was ranked second in his class. He was then posted to the Excalibur immediately. He was on the Excalibur when it disappeared and was transferred from Gamma shift to Alpha shift. He was reassigned to Starfleet Medical HQ as Radiologist when the Excalibur-B was decommissioned. When the Excalibur-C was commissioned he was transferred to it as an AMO assisting Doctors Pilot and Zier. He is still there and will continue to work there until it is decommissioned. Promoted to Lieutanant (j.g.).

    Psychological Profile:

Ensign Wilson is a somewhat introverted individual who likes to plan things out instead of spontaneously doing something. He also prefers to use clear facts instead of feelings or hunches when making choices. He has a deep-seated hatred towards Romulans probably due to family history with the Romulans. This hatred is unlikely to disappear anytime soon unless something drastic happens to turn him around, but since the odds of him actually working with a Romulan are unlikely he is fit for duty.
