  1. Not much is going on in Engineering. We just freed Admiral Atragon and Chief Engineer Garnoopy, and they're in sickbay now. I was going to take a rest in the holodeck, but since I felt a little better, I decided not to. After all, I shouldn't really be wasting my time in the holodeck when something could happen, such as another jump! So, I'm standing by to see what happens next. God Bless!
  2. Out of the darkness, the crew have landed at a cargo bay in what seems to be the year 2704 (the onboard computer told us that). Anyway, with great confusion, I followed my Engineering comrades to find our missing crew members. The team I was in was after our chief Engineer, Garnoopy. Later, I was asked by Counselor Farrington to help unstick the found Admiral out of a jefferies tube. If this were high school, I am the token freshman. It will take me a while to get to know this new crew; however, I don't know why, but I find it rather difficult for me. I was often the shy kid in high school. I remember someone from Starfleet history by the name of Reginald Barclay; he seems to have familiar attributes. I've met him a few times; seems to be a nice guy. Anyway, here's hoping the crew gets home soon (and I return to my own quarters with the sound of a foghorn on my personal holowall). God Bless!
  3. It's been a while since Admiral Atragon has been missing. In the meantime, Captain Sovak and Commander Jami summoned the crew to the Admiral's room on this 20th century naval vessel appropriately named the U.S.S. Manticore. We were trying to figure out ways of escaping this "quantum leap". So far, we've been in the 19th, 31st, and 20th centuries, and have yet to return to the 24th. Then, one idea intrigued many as well as myself: What if the spiders gave some sort of clue as to how we're trapped, as if we were trapped in a cosmic spider web? The solution, of course, was to stay still in order for an escape to be possible. This means no firing of weapons, no checking of logs, nothing, not even a single movement. I figured, I might as well write this personal log while I have the chance to do so. There was, however, one person who disagreed with the plan. That was my nearest superior officer, Garnoopy. He argued the case that such an action of inaction would certainly yield to death via another attack. In my opinion, death is just one of the realities that members of Starfleet face when joining. It's nothing different from any other Armed Forces, sometimes lives must be sacrificed. To be Vulcan, logic dictates that not going with this plan will not bring us home either. With deliberate inaction, we gives ourselves the opportunity to go home. But, back to death. I understand my superior officer's concern. Death is a scary concept. But I know that there is a silver lining in the cloud that is death. For Christians, this silver lining is finally coming home to the Father God, the Son Jesus, and His Holy Spirit in Heaven. Now, I'm only an Ensign, and do not know the faiths of my comrades. I am only sharing mine. God Bless.
  4. It seems that the spiders from the 4th millenium has transported us to World War II 1944. We're in a battleship, and in Army gear. All of this fascinates me, because I have no idea how all this stuff works! It seems that if this is a sea ship, the Engineering department deals with some kind of propellor-like technology to maneuver the ship. And as for the weapons, it may seem like stone knives and bearskins in the 24th century, but they are indeed quite dangerous in the 20th century. I have also read from my TOTM history lessons that this firepower is still insignificant next to something more powerful to come the following year: the atomic bomb. Please note that this log is a secret log, since such information about an atomic bomb could turn me into the center of attention, and I'd be hushed by the government of the 20th century United States! It's them who know the secrets right now, so I better keep it hush-hush on it right now. As for our Admiral, he mysteriously left for some unknown reason. However, this doesn't mean that we're without command. A loudspeaker sounded asking us to get to battle stations. If I remember my history correctly, we're fighting the Japanese, a former enemy turned friend (and let me tell you, we were quite grateful in the 21st century for their contributions to technology (DON'T LET THE CO SEE THIS!!!!!!)) All right, I better stop before I am accused of being a traitor. God Bless you all.
  5. Welcome to STSF, Cadet Riley. You are sure to have fun. Have a nice day and God Bless!

  7. I was just wondering, since money doesn't exist in the 24th Century Star Trek universe, how would scholarships work? (For example, if someone wanted to come to Cambridge University (or Starfleet Academy even!) with Data as the Lucasian Chairman) Just a thought. Have a nice day and God Bless!
  8. Thanks and God Bless!
  9. Hello! Reg here. I have seen avatar captions below most of the member's avatars, and I was wondering how you put that in there. Just a thought; thanks and God Bless!
  10. Never mind!
  11. Good evening everyone. Looks like I'm late for the latest academy sim. My alias is Reginald Luther Hafful, and I'm looking forward to STSF! I do have one question though...I'm trying to log in from my user name (Reggie_Hafful) with my password, and it says it's invalid. Should I use my other name? Thanks and God Bless!
