    Ensign Trichon Light Personal Log Stardate 10306.09 As I wait for the arrival of the USS Arcadia to arrive here at Starbase 27 I begin to wonder if I have made the right decisions. It seems only yesterday I went to the academy agaisnt my fathers wishes. The entire time I was at the academy I poured everything I had into learning the ins and out of a ships engine in hopes that one day I could be an engineer aboard a Starfleet Starship. And now I am. And not just any starship The Arcadia. I know other cadets that would kill for a posting onboard a Sovereign class. I guess all those extra man hours I put in the simulators really did payoff. The only thing I am going to miss about the academy is the time I got to spend flying. The only thing I love to do more than tinker with engines is fly shuttlcrafts. The faster they are the better. I think that's what drew me to be an engineer. The faster I can make things go the happier I am. Well, I have to pack up some of my stuff. I guess my next log entry will be made from the Arcadia.
