  1. Sivok stood silently in the small space between bulkheads where he, Lucy, Sieben and a new ensign Mr. Walker had gotten trapped in almost an hour ago. Sivok was slowly contemplating ideas for extraction from this position but had to deal with constant groans, yells, and other strange human noises from the rest of the probably accidental prisoners. Soon Sivok came up with an option “Mr. Walker please hand me your phaser I may have a escape option. Mr. Walker dutifully handed Sivok the phaser and Sivok quickly adjusted it to an extremely high setting and fired it at the bulkhead. This of course did not have any affect on the bulkhead itself but did manage to emit a comparatively loud sound, which echoed through the space for 15.6 seconds before running out of power, making a feeble attempt to continue and ultimately fading completely. The room of sorts fell silent as everybody listened closely for a sign that someone had heard the noise and had come looking for the source but no more noise came which as Sivok had predicted caused the humans to go into a state of semi-panic and start randomly banging the walls and yelling. Sivok pointed out that there actions would not help the situation and the humans soon quieted down again and Sivok concluded that the next best course of action would be to meditate on the situation longer therefore he closed his eyes and continued to calculate chances of success for various options in his mind.

After Sivok was finished discerning which of the various possibilities of escape would be more likely to succeed he slowly opened his eyes.  Sivok quickly decided that it would be impossible for him to reach Mr. Sieben’s communicator he slowly requested it of the other “prisoners”, “Can anyone reach or activate Mr. Sieben’s communicator?” Sivok asked. In response the Mr. Walker attempted and succeeded to acquire Mr. Sieben’s communicator with his foot and then handed it to Sivok. Sivok quickly activated the communicator and held it up to his mouth “this is ensign Sivok any Hood crew members that can hear my voice please respond.” They all waited in silence again and yet again heard nothing. After Sivok repeated the message twice more he concluded that either all the hood crew’s communicators had been stolen or they all had been incapacitated, though it was less favorable Sivok suspected the later.

After waiting in what Sivok assumed was a stunned silence for the humans a miniscule vibration passed through the bulkheads and seconds later a soft hum rang through the ship. The humans had obviously recognized this hum as the sound of a ship power generator as they were jumping and yelling almost twice as loud as usual. Though Sivok did not interrupt the human’s burst of happiness he suspected that it was not any of the Hood crew that had activated the reactor but Mr. Bevino’s thugs attempting to move the ship to a more secure location. Sivok quickly attempted but failed to come up with any more feasible escape plans and therefore decided to meditate while waiting for a sign as to who had powered up the reactor.

Also I write most of my logs in 3rd person some of them I do in 3rd and then switch back to first and so on, it comes from all my pbem trek simming iam on 8 pbem trek simms at the moment.  :D

  3. Sivok crawled quickly through the dark air ducts until he reached the panel, which he judged should be above ensign Sieben’s and his friend Lucy’s quarters. Sivok slid the panel over a few inches and saw ensign Sieben. Sivok tapped on the panel a few times until Sieben looked up and realized Sivok was there. After explaining his view of the dark plot that the Hood and its crew was involved in Sivok, Sieben and Lucy climbed back into the air ducts and crawled to the nearest corridor. After arriving at the corridor Sivok soon heard footsteps coming around the corner and motioned Seiben and Lucy to stay back. Sivok walked up to the person who was as he expected one of Bevino’s large guards and pinched the correct points on his neck causing him to fall to the ground. Sivok then explained to Lucy that they would need to get to a corridor near the docking ports. Lucy directed them to a usable corridor and Sivok set Sieben’s phaser on overload and threw it down the corridor. Sivok heard a loud boom and then motioned for Sieben and Lucy to follow him down the other corridor to the docking ports.

After reaching the docking ports Sivok saw that the port leading to the Hood had an amazingly large and complex lock on it. Sieben removed the lock’s casing and examined the inside while Sivok attempted to cut power to the lock via a small panel on the wall. After opening the panel and looking inside for a few seconds Sivok cut one of the wires but to Sivoks surprise this did not cut the power but sent an electrical shock into Sivok’s hands, which immediately became badly burned. A few seconds after Lucy had handed Sivok an emergency medical kit Sivok heard guards coming down the corridor. Sivok, Sieben and Lucy ran down an adjacent corridor and came to a stop at a deserted spot and sat down to rest, tend to Sivok’s wounds and try to decide what they were going to do next.

  4. Sivok sat in his quarters compiling the research he had done today for his human social interactions study. Sivok had seen many interesting human interactions today. First Sivok had sat in the bar for a few minuets watching the customers come in and out and finding that he could judge what they would order by how they look and spoke. Soon he was invited by commander McKee to join many of the other crew at a dinner table in the restaurant portion of the establishment. This proved to be very fruitful to Sivok’s studies as human eating habits were one of the stranger aspects of the human culture. As soon as Sivok sat down he observed that many of the humans were having trouble breaking open and eating there food but instead of asking at the beginning watched others and tried to mimic there behavior without success, this seemed quite illogical and time wasting. Soon Sivok noticed that one of his fellow ensigns Mr. Sieben had a female guest with him so Sivok walked over and asked her to complete his survey on human romantic and marital relationships. Sivok finished typing the last results into his pad and then sat down on the floor of his quarters to meditate and contemplate the day.

  5. “Illogical” Log of ensign Sivok

While running diagnostics in engineering Sivok had found a 2.9 variance in the warp core power allocation levels, not finding a solution he called the captain and asked for the help of the chief engineer.  Soon the doors smoothly slid open and allowed the chief engineer to enter. Sivok was about to explain the problem to the chief when before he could open his mouth the chief started yelling and pointing at ensign Sieben, who was currently examining the dilithem crystals. After the enraged Telarite finished spitting out ceaseless expletives he walked over to the com panel and had a short conversation with the commander. Then he walked back over to Sivok, saying something about Sivok knowing better because he had “The ears” and ordered him to wait over by another panel and not touch anything. Sivok tried to explain to the Tellerite that he was a qualified engineer but the chief would not listen so Sivok walked over to the panel and stood still. Sivok could not understand how such illogical species like humans and tellerites could have achieved warp flight without obliterating themselves with nuclear weapons. Another thing he could not understand was the use of words that have no specific meaning and are only meant to act as an adjective to the tradition of insulting.

A few minuets passed and the chief had corrected the problem and was walking over to Sivok and Sieben with two spools of colored wire. After saying something about the ship being completely submersed in saltwater and needing a complete rewiring of all the ships stations, the chief asked Sieben to wait in engineering and watch a panel and asked Sivok to follow him to the next section that needed rewiring.

  6. Basic Info

      Age 24

      Height 6.2

      Weight 135

      Hair color Brown

      Eye color Blue

                                  Sivok

Sivok was born on the planet Vulcan. His father was a professor in the Vulcan science academy. Sivok’s mother was an engineer who was not a federation officer but did help build their ships. When Sivok was 15 he joined the Vulcan engineering academy. After Sivok graduated from the academy at age 18 he decided to enlist in Starfleet academy. He did extremely well in the academy graduating with honors in engineering and shuttle piloting. After graduating when he was 22 he had a few short posts on small science vessels until, because of his exemplary performance he was posted to the USS Hood.

  7. Computer open personnel log. Today I joined the crew of the USS Hood as an assistant engineer. I feel that this new post will be the beginning of a long service for me on the Hood. Walking from the station to the hood I noticed a human crewmember running into the station mumbling something about “chili”. After research I found that “ chili” is a human food that has certain spices, which make the tongue burn. I still cannot comprehend why humans place there eating habits in such high regard. I also cannot understand why anyone would enjoy a food that causes discomfort.

Nothing of extreme importance happened today on the ship. There was some sort of accident when one of the alarms malfunctioned and the whole engineering section was sealed off. In the middle of the day I was ordered to go to my physical. When I got there I soon realized that the doctor was fond of extremely hard to understand human metaphors and expressions. Such as “ grab a biobed” which seems to mean sit down. Also the expression “ a once over” seems to mean to get a physical. I am amazed how humans have survived with all these strange customs. Computer close log.

Sivok then decided to take a walk around the ship assessing the various corridors and sections. As he walked he passed many humans who would have seemed extremely loud a few monthes ago but now after living around humans he had found that all humans were what Vulcans would call too loud. After walking around the ship for half an hour Sivok headed back to his quarters. Entering his silent quarters Sivok sat down on the floor and started his nightly Vulcan meditation.
