About Vuxan Zal

  1. Look here and listen to the pro. I play this since week and a half ago and I played it twice so I’m that much experienced than you. So I can’t help you much but I know that first time I was playing I was, as you perfectly said, LOST. Second time was much better. And what really helped me is reading logs from STSF Academy and STSF Advanced simulations. Take some time to read few of them to get some general idea. It helped me and I hope it will help you. Welcome…
  2. Because the transporter is not phaser, or torpedo. We are talking about totaly diffrent things here. If transporter could hear you now he would probably say:"I'm a transporter, not an energy wepon!"
  3. You see the shields are forcefields that protect space vessels from damage by natural hazard or enemy attack. It’s logical to presume that those kind of threats come from outside. So the shield are designed to protect ship from outside attacks and also to be penetrable from other way in case you need, for example to fire and destroy some borg cube. In fact it’s a most common thing in nature. Cell membranes are designed to protect everything that's inside of the cell in exactly the same way. Something goes in, something goes out, and something can’t penetrate at all. So I think that’s a good analogy. And the transporters are very tricky thing. They don’t work in a hostile environments too. And there are all sort of things that can affect transporters so they can’t work.
  4. First day at the academy. Eh those were the days. I know the feeling. In fact I’m still feeling it!!! Hmm, but I don’t know why… Bloody temporal anomalies!!! One gets confused. You never know what was when. Time travel, you should try it some day. Ah yes, yes, yes I remember now. Feeling is still here because it was a couple a days ago. Its great fun isn’t it? Welcome :D
  5. Fascinating. Captain, it appears as if Windows 95 is scanning our hardware and mutating to adapt.
  6. Hi. Well, I just survived my first sim today!!!! :D It was GREAT!!! :P I mean the sim was GREAT surviving was, well great too. I was TAC fighting the Dominion, firing phasers, destroying ship ( I know, I know it was a small one but…), hideing in nebula, red alert and all those stuff… COOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!
  7. When we all look at another planet we are always comparing it to Earth. Trying to find some similarities, some resemblance. So when we choose that we like another world we are in fact choosing what we like on our planet. If you are some alien from another world you would probably do the same thing. So I’m choosing Earth because it has everything for everybody.
  8. Well every movie starts with “A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…” so technically and logically they couldn’t be humans. So that statement of C3PO is either a stupid mistake or a mistake made by our universal translator. Probably this second :(
