Hi all; Thanks for the introduction, I had just came back from being away and eager to look at assignments and school, and the upcoming classes from our Neighborhood Black Hawk College to which we were informed that part of the eastern campus is being shut down to reduction of state funds. I go to the west campus here in Kewanee, and I wonder now if some of the students will trasfer here. I heard there was a roast for MR Shatner I unfortunately had to miss it several times as it was on when I had to work and they don't allow viewing unless it is designated break time. Like many things I bet it will come out on DVD. I got to ask what studies are required here, I have several books on planets, charts, Starfleet itself and by accident looking for something related to the Star Trek World I found an application to the Academy I had it printed out late last year and placed it with some certificates I designed for those that I work with also in the healthcare field, it was a blast, I used a template from the one that was given with Dr. McCoys medical tricorder, and laser scapel, and something else I dont have it with me right now there were 3 objects and I have that it in its original box. I have a massed quite a small collection and at times I pull them out thinking how did I find time to collect all of it. Well in two hours it will be monday and then the world breaks open to the masses. I have to pay bills and set my cleaning charge equipment up and get going then its off to school here. It's been a long time since I had been in any simulation, and this is my first application to the academy. I have been on independent assignments that took me away from my passion that is the Star Trek. I hope I can be of service to what ever place of gradualtion in Star Fleet holds for me. I bet I will be making tons of mistakes like tonight I did the one thing I came into the chat section and guess I nearly cleared the room with a simple hello. I was that unprepared and that I will not take lightly next time I enter without knowledge of how it is used. So for all the mistakes I make and probably will make from now I truly apologize. Im a late night person as my hours are from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm at a nursing home 14 miles from my home it takes nearly 30 minutes to get home as the roads are not the most accomadating.
