  1. Actually... since I was working on SL anims, lightning struck me. That or perhaps it was as good as it gets for a sleep deprived epiphany. Anyone who has Poser could also make avatars and screencap it. You can make the clothing, Photoshop it in, or find it and/or buy it online. :D
  2. On the Main/Adult Grid you can get a free uniform in the Galaxy sim and take screenshots there on the various ships (STNG, TOS above DS9 - Use Multi-gadget, SLGadget, X-flight, etc... to get up there :D, or pics in the Borg Cube) or on DS9. Free DS9 uniforms I think. Not sure/Don't remember. I used a few of my own clothing textures. You can buy a TOS uniform from a vendor on DS9 if you don't want to just make one. There is also a Defiant (Which is the one my avatar was standing in.) in Indigo at the Sci-Fi museum if memory serves. (Search in SL is your friend!) If you want the Voyager commbadge attachment (Unscripted) then IM me in SL as Tyana Merosi, and when I log in I'll drop it in your inventory. If you're on the Teen Grid then PM me here and I'll send you the tga file to upload. From the younger folks I know in SL on the TG the Trek stuff is there, but not as easy to find. I'm on the main grid so you'll have to PM me here. If you don't have the system requirements to run SL or are not able/don't want to join SL for whatever reason, PM me. *If and/or when* I have the time I'll try to grab some screen shots. :) Edit: To reflect my edit of my post in your quote :) Didn't know you were SL as well. Thanks for the info! - Seiben And now here I am trying not to reply to my post with your edit... :P Any SL or There questions feel free to ask.
  3. Hey boss! I'm a little... You know... Embarrassed to go to the checkout with these. Can you buy'em for me?
  4. I'm still asking myself that along with: What am I still doing here? :D Send an automated PM to all new registrants with info on how to find which thread to start them off. With a nice automated welcome note, and a memo to ask in the forums instead of replying via PM with the links to the topics/threads. Sticky the obvious 'beginner threads'. Like the Avatars thread. Repeat with Introduce yourself, etc... If they don't see it in one place they will see it in another. Meh. Whatever works out best. Merely suggestion.
  5. If you've got the days and can get away with it: Start feeling very sick at work on the 5th, 6th, & 7th. :D
  6. Actually those were merged into this thread. In the same boat considering that I am also not sure if the offers are still open. The avatars most people have (Like Charles' Avatar) are from a mod pack from the Sims2. (I'm limited on Sims2 info. I hated The Sims and TSO.)
  7. Now that you mention it... the dog does look a little like Indy. Any relation KB? ::Pfft.. forget ducking, just runs like hell::
  8. Carvel Ice Cream Cake. But that was not holiday related. As for everyone who gave me holiday and 'Black Sunday' gifts: Comcast thanks you. National Grid thanks you. Keyspan thanks you. Super Stop & Shop thanks you. My landlord thanks you. My credit card company thanks you. Deutsche Telekom thanks you. Pho Pasteur on Washington Street thanks you. ::nod:: As long as I never owe, I strongly believe that refund time is now the new holiday season. I'll buy myself something nice then. :P
  9. Question: Is the third option written with sarcasm? Because if so, then I know how to vote. :P
  10. Dog> I guess this situation could be worse. You could weigh as much as the 300 lb guy in the mascot suit. And.., don't think he hasn't tried this!
  11. They were humans doing research on a planet that was mostly covered by water, and I'm not exactly sure where the fish tank that mutated them into their fishie forms/restored them to their human forms, came from. It wasn't all brothers there were others. It was more like a rip off of Thundercats. Geek points to you Kansas... you remembered some of it. As for the torture device: Yeah I had a few of those bracelets and would randomly wait until people weren't paying attention. I always enjoyed the pie-eyed look I'd get after they figured out that I didn't slap them with a ruler. :P
  12. Then what... I'd wait until unsuspecting individuals weren't paying attention and then snap it on their wrist. Made them jump a foot in the air.
  13. They did go into the nineties... but they originated in the 80's. :D I remember watching Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, and Disney cartoons that were long before my time at that point back then. Some things are that good that they have staying power. And other things... well some people don't know the meaning of: "If it's not broke don't fix it." I.E. Disco is back. And if so... the person who is responsible for it should go into witness protection. I know a lot of people who are ticked about the 70's revival as it stands already. Can't say I care for it that much either, so I understand. But then again kids who are 10 now will say they remember the turtles and everything else thanks to Cartoon Network (A blessing for saving Family Guy.) and generational recycleage (Not good, see disco reference.) as I like to call it. But the point I guess is that to enjoy and appreciate your younger years. They only happen once. Believe me, I'd trade those days for my current responsbilities and bills anyday. Unrelated Nostalgia: Snap bracelets. Unique torture devices or entertainment for those with ADD/ADHD or just a plain evil streak. You decide. ::lets someone else start the point/counterpoint debate::
  14. Sorry but when someone says 80's cartoons I think Transformers, Tigersharks, Thundercats, Silverhawks, He-Man, She-Ra, Snorks, Smurfs, Rainbow Brite (God I hated that show.), Care Bears. /The original TMNT were late more toward the 90's. And sorry.... Power Rangers always in some way shape or form reminded me of watching a recycled & modified Voltron episode. Although I do love the 90's for Ren & Stimpy. (Reference: "It's Log!") Bonus points to those who remember the cartoons in bold.
  15. Back in my day all we had was the book. :P
  16. LET THE PLAYGROUND BEATINGS BEGIN!
  17. Sendai's got it. Go for it.
  18. I won? Oh crap. Here goes:
  19. Vegas. Straight ahead.
  20. Or glued them. Meh my attention was lost on the sequels. That was around the time the original NES had taken over as my electronic gaming platform of choice. Hold A, press start.
  21. ::giggles:: Kind of like taking the stickers off of the rubik's cube.
  22. With fewer calories than the KFC bowls. <Insert gagging here.>
  23. Pfft! Powerpad for Nintendo anyone? When I want to move I go to the gym. If I want to wave my arms I'll get a job directing traffic or landing planes at the airport. At least I'll get paid while doing that, as opposed to paying for a Wii console to do that.
  24. Let the cat out of the bag. I said BAG you fool!
  25. But the slinky lives on forever. (Metal old ones. Not the cheap plastic rip-offs.)
